Save your money, they charge $72 for a cut and style and don't work with you to figure out a style that you want. I was told several times, at my appointment, that I would have to let my hair grow out to change my style. This was surprising because Jennifer is a master hair stylist. I don't understand why she couldn't work my cut towards the style I wanted. She got so frustrated that she refused to cut my hair. This shocking and unprofessional behavior is the reason I do not recommend them anymore. I went to another salon and got the cut I wanted for about half the price. read more

I have been going to this salon for several years now. I love my stylist here and they are reasonably priced. They are super friendly at the desk with both check in and check out. I usually get a wash,hair cut and style. I always walk out loving my cut. One of my favorite things is they have stock of all the items they used while washing and styling your hair but they aren't pushy like other salons I have been to before I found them. I was able to schedule this 50 minute hot stone massage within 24 hrs of my desired Sat. date. I have had massages at Solutions before as well as 2 other places locally. I have been receiving massages for almost 20 yrs especially finding it helpful to manage fibromyalgia. I discussed with my masseuse my desire to have my left hamstrings given extra attention as this was my primary reason for scheduling this appointment so quickly. I also shared that I would like neck & shoulders. Unfortunately, both legs were given the same amount of attention. The shoulder & neck portions were good. The hot stones were only used in the masseuse's hands compared to other techniques that leave 1-2 stones warming a part of the body before being touched or afterwards. The same type of stroke with the hand was used throughout the massage compared to using an arm or thumb pressure on certain tense muscles. The actual massage time on table was 40-45 minutes which I am not sure if this is typical for a 50 minute massage. I have usually had Solutions hair stylist & facials by Kate exceed my expectations. Both times I have been to Solutions for Swedish Massages, each time with a different Massage Specialist, it was a relaxing, comfortable and calming experience. The warm atmosphere, in a dimly lit room with a fireplace in a back living room like area- which also features delicious cucumber water and warm teas....so comfy! And that's only enjoyed after getting into a warm robe and slippers. The soft tones of the environment or Tibetan type sounds made my massage such an enjoyable experience. Changing rooms are very clean, fully equipped with items you might need to use and plenty of soft towels, if you decide to take a shower. I visited Solutions today for a full little self-care day. All of the staff were extremely welcoming and kind. I am not an avid spa-goer, but they made me feel really comfortable. Booking back-to-back appointments was really easy. Everyone was always offering me a beverage, asking if I had any questions, Everything about the experience was a 10/10, I would absolutely recommend this place for any spa or salon needs. I started off with a Spa Pedicure and a French Gel Manicure with Chaeli, and she was lovely. Both turned out amazing! Then I had a 50-minute facial with Lillian. She was beyond sweet, and that was seriously the best facial I've ever had. She catered exactly to what my skin needed, and I left feeling so relaxed and refreshed. ive come to get my hair done for about 5 or 6 years. before finding a hair stylist I've come here for massages. when you walk in to check in there is a small seating area to wait to be brought in by your hair dresser for your hair appointment. for a massage you get directed to the separate private area behind closed doors. its set up to be very homey and comforting. its quiet warm, comfortable seating, and very appealing with the decor. the dressing rooms are to the right(females) and left(males) when you walk in and the seat area straight ahead with fireplaces and couches. after you get changed into the robe you can sit and wait to be greeted by your masseuse. solutions also has a nail salon separate from the hair salon and massage area. I've gotten my nails done once here before only because I go some place closer to home. When you walk in there are also many things to buy from local products that change each month and hair products. I love this place because of the warm atmosphere, smells great, my hair dresser is great at what she does. she gets my hair done right each time I go and uses great product that makes your hair feel soft and shiny. best part is almost when they give you a nice head massage when they do the shampooing. A spa is focused on comfort right? In my opinion, the first step of comfort should be when you enter the spa. However, the customer service was subpar. No smiles. No direction. The nail salon was okay. My gels turned out nice. That's where the stars came from. My facial on the other hand is not something I plan to return for. I've had much better experiences elsewhere. Dry skin on my forehead was still prominent (after exfoliating?), i still had blackheads on my nose (poor extraction), and I walked out with eye makeup under my eyes (you're supposed to remove it prior to any moisturizing!). Common sense tells you that if you're giving a facial- remove the makeup first. Unfortunately, when I arrived home, I had to remove the moisturizer from under my eyes in order to remove the mascara. So much for any eye treatment that was done during the facial. Finally, I booked these services with a gift certificate I received for Christmas. I wanted to tip using the gift certificate as well. The front desk again failed me because they couldn't figure out how. Rather than call someone for help, they said I'll have to tip out of pocket. Very disappointing experience. read more

I went there to get a touch up only to find out when I got home that Brookelyn left many gray spots. She also spent no more than 5 minutes giving me a hair cut. When I returned to have the gray fixed, Cindy did a great job but did not wash the dye out around my neck. Found this out when I washed my own hair at home and the towel was brown with dye. Called to complain. One of the owners returned my call with a message. When I tried to get her to call again, she never did. Customer service is obviously not a priority. read more

Do not go here ever!!!! Stay away!! I had it cut and colored. The stylist burned it and didn't tell me just ended curling it and sent me home. After I washed it because it looked odd right away. I noticed all the orange marks from the bleach. Owner was on vacation and I complained several times. I decided to take the opportunity of the long pandemic break from manicures to see if I could find a place more conveniently located than where I'd been going for several years. I chose Solutions as it's near work. The first time I went was my first gel manicure post-COVID so it was just an application on natural nails. The manicurist did a fine job--nothing special but no real complaints. I went back two weeks later and had a different manicurist. (1) She didn't give me the option of not soaking off--my former manicurist would determine if I needed to soak or not based on how well the previous gel was holding up and old color vs new, etc. (2) When filing the old down, she went right across my nails and onto my skin. I was bleeding in several places by the time I decided she wasn't going to notice it herself and I'd have to say something. She blamed the files. (3) After shredding my skin, she then put the acetone-soaked cotton balls on (ouch!) and wrapped them in tinfoil: normal procedure. Then she put my hands in heated mitts right out of the heater. After a few moments of waiting to see if they'd cool off to a manageable level, I finally had to yank my hands out. I had red burns along where the tinfoil hit my skin. Never had heated mitts with tinfoil on in all my years of manicures, but in observing other clients, this was clearly SOP for them. By the time I left my hands felt like I'd been through a wringer. I am a nail tech myself and I don't go get pedicures, because I'm sort of a nail snob and never trust anyone's cleanliness. However, once I got knocked up, I couldn't reach my own toes anymore and my husbands painting skills were more than slightly lacking. After some research, I decided to try Solutions out. I can say that I was super impressed with their sterilizing procedures and their overall cleanliness and organization. Plus, I loved my pedicurist (I'm super annoyed that I can't remember her name. Jessica, maybe? Her name started with a J and she was pregnant too and we live like a block away from each other. Anyways, you were awesome!!) and was SUPER impressed that she painted my toenails black NEATLY! No sloppy spots at all. I ran into some pregnancy complication and was unable to continue going, but this is definitely where I'll continue going for my toes. My only small complaint is that the pedi felt a *little* short for the price. It's not cheap and I would've liked more soak time or a longer massage....but it's not serious enough that I won't go back. read more

I had gone to solutions for years up until my last visit. I asked for hilights and a "lob". I left with a blunt cut chin length Vidal Sassoon 'do and skunk stripes of orange throughout. Not only did my stylist bleach my hair without toning it at all, but she was checking on other clients while working on my cut (possibly double booked?) I ended up going to a second salon to fix the catastrophe that I paid over $80 for at solutions. So very disappointed that their quality and attention to detail seem to have declined as of late, because it is a gorgeous space overall. read more

Had a wrap here on Friday and it was wonderful! The second i walked in i was greeted and offered a beverage. The waiting area is wonderful, and the wrap was well done. I visited Solutions for a cut and dye about 18 months ago and was satisfied with my cut and my color. My stylist, Jami Lyn, was really nice and had a lot of great suggestions to think about for the future. After this service I started going to my friend at a different salon for the past year. After she moved away and I needed to find a new stylist again I tried Solutions again. I went back to Solutions and Jami Lyn and was blown away. I called last minute on a Tuesday to see if Jami Lyn had any availability on Thursday before I left for the holidays. The receptionist told me she was not but would call me if there were any cancelations. I received a call on Wednesday that Jami Lyn would come in early just to squeeze me in on Thursday afternoon which was incredibly gracious of her. When I got there not only did she remember me but the cut I prefer and coloring I had before. The spa has a new service of $15 mini pedicure or manicure while your color sets which I jumped on for a quick toe polish, which Jami Lyn did herself as well and very satisfactorily. I have very dark hair but prefer a very light blonde and after drying my hair and noticing it was too light she redid the color for me even though she had started a new client's color for her next appointment. The color was a more frosted, ashy blonde than I've had in the past but it looked fantastic. The cut was exactly what I wanted and she did it very quickly which was fantastic. For a root touch up, cut, and toe polish my services came to $95 which is an absolute steal in my opinion. The only other service I have gotten at the spa is an eyebrow wax, which though was very professional and thorough I will not be doing again just because I've discovered my skin is too sensitive for brow wax in general and will stick to threading instead. 100% satisfied with my experience at Solutions and with Jami Lyn and though I plan to move out of Greece in the coming months, I will continue to be a client of the spa. read more

ZERO STARS!!!! Not regular customers at this salon, but it always looks busy, so we figured they were doing something right. How WRONG we were!! (Our regular salons were already booked for this day) My daughter made appointments for herself and me for hair & makeup for her wedding day. (Appointments were made in January for August) Appointments were for 9am as we had to be back at 11am. It was 9:15 and we were not with the stylists yet. Had to complain to the front desk. Waited another 10 minutes. Now, we did not have any fancy up-dos. My daughter kept her hair down and only wanted waves and my hair was down with the top pulled back. My hair was OK, but my daughters looked terrible. (Didn't even look like her hair was styled) Now for the make-up. I looked like a clown (never ever say eye shadow applied like this) and my daughter didn't even look like she had any make-up applied. We couldn't have them re-do anything because now it was 11:20. They started late & took way too long. We were told 1 hour for hair & 20 minutes for make-up. People were already waiting at the house!! Now for the specialist in false eye lashes. Ours were glued to the lashes and were pulling & uncomfortable all day. When I said something about this, she said " Oh you just have to wait for the glue to dry". Lots of BS flying around. Would not remove lashes & reapply. If I had any pictures yet, I would post them. Can't believe the owner would let us walk out looking like we did. WARNING ALL BRIDES DO NOT GO HERE FOR HAIR AND MAKE UP My mother and I were in tears when we left and didn't have enough time to go anywhere else to have it fixed. My hair did not look like the picture and fell flat almost immediately It took two HAIR STYLISTS to put fake eye lashes on and there was tons of glue it looked like when you wake up with crusty eyes in the morning. A Hair stylist does not equal make up artist. Also mineral make up was not applied to my whole face and she made my big brown eyes look small. - Had her re-do that portion My mom had one fake eye lash sticking up and one flipped down. They put cover up under her eyes and it was so light she looked like a ghost. People said to me I looked the same as I normally do ( grandma, friend & cousin) . I told Jackie the hair stylist/make up artist I wanted to look a Glamorous princess I felt so self conscious and ugly all day long it was embarrassing. Eyes were on me but I wanted to look away. I'm sure their services are done very well, but my problem is with contacting them by phone and and getting no or delayed results. When I call they get offensive & won't give me the name I'm talking to. Very Basic rude phone etiquette. My daughter gave my wife a gift a few years ago for the spa for a holiday gift , then my son also did the same. Didn't hear any bad comments about the place that I remember., . The problem lies within their follow up. My wife hasn't been there in years (has a hairdresser she found & is loyal to. You know how hairdressers move around? heck I'm a man and have been going to the same girl for over 20 yrs, She has moved about 5 or six time but I (and I'm sure most of her customers have followed her faithfully But(there's always a but right?) over the last several years we get phone messages from them to confirm a hair appointment for tomorrow. Knowing that there must me a mistake with someone with a name like my wife & contact info, We always call to let them know this is in error. And every time they promise to delete our phone info. Of course this doesn't happen or I wouldn't take the time to write this. when we get such a mistaken phone messag ,we or I call to elevate the mistake, hoping the person who made the appointment won't miss out. Apparently we care more about their customers more than they do. When I called this time I asked the girls name answering so If I had to call back I could say who I talked to, She got mad , didn't want to give me her name ,even though I gave her the name of the person who called and left the message in error. Then I gave her my wife's name and address and informed her the phone & address was wrong. sure, I give out all impertinent information and this rude little snot gets offended when I ask her name.Hey I'm not stupid but I'm pretty forgiving when a business makes mistakes-heck even Wegman,s makes mistakes. The difference is not only will they try to rectify the mistake but they ALWAYS treat their customers with niceness. I know from experience. All I was trying to do was help one of their customers & stop the mistaken phone calls that have been coming in for several years that we have been promised they would delete the wrong contact information times over & over. I have been a client of Solutions for 3 years and I really love this place. Nikki is my stylist and she is excellant. I love the treatment I receive from the minute I walk in the door to when I leave. Everyone is very attentive and friendly. I always feel I am being treated as an individual and it is my first time there and I am the only customer. Nikki really listens to my needs and wants and she does a great job advising me as well as doing exactly as I have requested. My 'ONLY" dislike would be the increasing price increases..... I agree that the decor and atmosphere is wonderful which is why I gave it 2 stars, otherwise it would have been 1 star. I had high hopes while waiting for my massage given the atmosphere, but was very disappointed with the results. I do not recommend this spa for a massage. First, they don't do 1 hour massages, only 50 minutes all of which is rushed and I'm not sure but I think the time they spend talking to you is included in that time. They give the barest attention to all areas. Just as you start to relax they move on to a different area. The lower back was not addressed at all which I thought was odd. My therapist also talked the whole time asking questions and offering ideas for my problem areas and seemed annoyed when I didn't seem receptive. Personally, I don't want to talk during my massage. Before or after is fine (which they did also). Overall it seemed like a massage factory. The therapist only had enough time to clean the rooms between clients.
