No need to fret though, the staff knows where everything is and can answer all your questions. Another thing I liked was that other staff members would step in to assist just to help!     We have purchased MANY trees over the years from Browns and other local nurseries, but our latest…read moreexperience at Browns has not been good. A tree we purchased 10 months ago has not been doing well. It has been properly planted and cared for-even "babied" along-and still not doing well. We are not at all new to tree planting or basic knowledge, so to have this kind of issue is very very rare for us. We have inquired back with Browns 3 times now as to what we can do to help this tree make it, and have gotten zero help or answers this far. We are getting the feeling that they are just waiting for our 1 year from purchase guarantee to pass by so that they can skip their commitment. We do not necessarily want the tree to be replaced, we want their input to know to make this tree thrive better and we are not getting it. Our next tree/shrubs may be coming from someplace else. Update from initial paragraphs above... absolutely zero "customer service" for the tree, and our time ran out. We had to cut it down. $300+ in the burn pile. I very rarely give a business this kind of review, but I honestly feel that this was warranted. We played by all of their retune/customer purchase rules and guidelines, and they did nothing.

This spring two of the players I ordered did not come up so a few weeks ago, I sent in a request about them. I was told I'd get a refund/credit. Now, weeks later, I've yet to see that and I was just informed that I may not get my refund for 30 days because of a "backlog". First, no company that has pride in good customers service would expect a refund to take that long to be issued and received. Second, if there's that much of a backlog for refunds, it's very concerning about the quality of product you're providing.  I'm very disappointed in your customer service and I will be using other nurseries from now on.

    I placed an order on March 11th 2026 and the ad said any order at $125 or over was due free…read moreshipping. The sum of my order was a little over $142. I noticed the sum included a shipping charge therefore the order sum increased to 176.02 due to taxes and the shipping cost. On the same day I contacted customer services and I was advised that the $21.95 could not be removed from the bill. They told me I didn't receive free shipping because I did not subscribe. I was told to cancel the order so I did. I later learned the order was re-opened on March 13th without my approval. Ever since I have sent messages and no one has responded. I filed a dispute with my credit card company who advised they have reached out to the company and have had no response. I've sent several messages not to send the order but I received it about 2 weeks ago. To this date I have not opened the package while hoping to resolve this issue. At this point I am willing to keep the order if I am credited the shipping costs. I have to wonder about a company that is willing to dig there heels in about a 21.95 shipping cost for an order of $142. They have also chosen to not communicate with me or my credit card company. Anyone ordering from this company had better know they get their money up front and takes a looooong while to ship your merchandise. In addition they are not transparent with their policies therefore they are not customer friendly.
