Before moving our friend gave the advice to go with a large, reputable moving company. Unfortunately, we didn't take his advice. By our realtor's recommendation, we used Anthony's company. It was one of the most stressful experiences of my life and ended in a crazy amount of damages. Here is a list of most of the items that went wrong: (edited my items to respond to Anthony's comments where I disagree with him) 1. After loading up the truck Anthony's crew went to the wrong house 2. They didn't wrap our monitors and tv's and when they unloaded them they carried them in and out their hands on the screens resulting in scratches, frame cracks and potential hot-spots later on. We had to ask them to be more careful when bringing them in Response to Anthony's comment: we had so many scratches on the tv's and monitors there is no way they were wrapped. When the movers brought them in they were unwrapped so I'm pretty sure you are being dishonest in your comment. We also weren't able to inspect all items by the time you came over the following morning. Obviously we would find more damages as we unpacked. I texted you as soon as I discovered them with photos and received no response. I'll post texts 3. They lost power cords to some of our tv's and monitors. They said they might have thrown them in a random box but we still haven't found them. Anthony had to order new ones Response: the tv chords and monitor chords were still attached to the tv's when the movers took them down. Saying we put them in a box is dishonest 4. They broke a strap to our sleep number bed that holds the two beds together. I noticed them on the floor and asked about it. I gave them to one of the guys to take to the new place but they must have just thrown it away without telling me. It worries me that they may have thrown other items away that they broke so I wouldn't notice 5. They pushed in our refrigerator without booking up the water Response: refrigerator that I'm speaking of is in our kitchen, not the garage! 6. They set up our sleep number bed but couldn't find the air cable and didn't tell me. Luckily I checked if it was working before they left and asked them about it. When they found the cable the bed wasn't pumping up. They kept telling me this was normal and to give it time. It wasn't until I was adamant that they fix it that they finally got it working Response: the issue was not the time to inflate. The hookup was done incorrectly and they needed to reset it multiple times 7. Anthony estimated the move taking 9 hours. 12 hours later they were still moving us! He admitted he knew everything wouldn't fit in one truck but didn't tell me in his quote email Response: if you run a professional business you should be able to accurately quote your customers. Saying we should have let your team go partway through the move is a bit crazy 8. When the crew went back to our old home to pick up items I followed them and went upstairs to make sure everything was out. While I was upstairs they just left leaving many items that still needed to be moved (patio furniture, sleep number chords and pump, etc.). When I noticed I had to call Anthony in a panic for the guys to come back. Anthony admitted his team should have done a walkthrough of the house with me before leaving Response: the whole outside patio furniture was left. I'm pretty sure that's not misc items that can just fit in my car. Same with all the sleep number parts since your team needed to assemble the bed 9. Broke our futon bed. Now it needs to be thrown away 10. When taking down tv mounts they didn't tape the screws to the mounts so they were just in a pile in the garage. Some screws were missing even though Anthony "counted" them right in front of me and told me they were all there. I had to point out that some were missing. He literally counted out 4 screws when only 3 were there Response: I showed you the pile of screws and we discussed the missing screws so to say they were with the mounts and accounted for is dishonest 11. Broke our railing even after I cautioned them to be careful with them. Anthony attempted to repair but it still looks messed up (same thing goes for other chipped furniture) Response: the railing was not loose prior to move 12. The tape they used left residue on our kids playmat that won't come off. It also stripped off the wood on our shoe rack. Response: Images posted of stripped wood finish 13. Chipped and dented furniture pieces 14. The team dropped f-bombs and cursed in front of our 3-year old Anthony promised he would fix any damages. He did attempt to repair the items I initially noticed and ordered the missing chords and sleep number parts but as we unpacked we noticed more and more damages. Sure enough, my texts to him went ignored. After his misquote in hours this company ended up being just as expensive as a reputable moving company yet resulted in and an excessive amount of damages and stress. read more

It took the movers 3 hours to move a king size bed,2 large TVs, a recliner, an entertainment center from a one bedroom apartment to a condo with a flight of stairs. That wasn't the big issue. A family friend recommended Anthony and his crew. I was blown away by their professionalism and timing. They knew I was on a strict 4 hour budget and they kept me updated the entire time to keep me posted on the timing to make sure we got the job done as close to that time frame as possible. Anthony (owner) is RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! That is the summary of our experience. Until this day, I get sick to my stomach when remembering Anthony and his services. We moved states and it was a two-day project turned. Dealing with him in the beginning was smooth. He gave us a good deal and we were really planning to tip them. The first day was loading in our CA home. We paid Anthony what was due; planning to tip them the very next day when they unload at our other home. The next day, he was just giving me ATTITUDE! SO UNPROFESSIONAL. He was yelling and stating passive aggressive remarks!! I tried to ignore those. He might just be tired, I thought. But, it became very apparent when he would ask my husband for things and purposely ignore me. IN OUR OWN HOME!! Not sure where the lack of manners are coming from. It turns out that he was upset because the tip wasn't given on the first day! Like WTF!?!. We tipped them appropriately; it was part of the budget! It was just the timing. We thought it would be more appropriate to tip after everything is done. After we gave our tips, his demeanor changed. The other experience was with my parents-in-law. They broke one of their dining table's legs. Anthony paid the insured price for one the legs! Like, duh, the entire table is not useful anymore. They first tried to "fix" it. Initially, I was very excited to hire these guys based on the reviews and speaking to Anthony on the phone. I was really feeling the down to earth, family owned story he was pitching. Unfortunately, this did not translate to smooth or even professional move. I've had 4 moves done, and this was by far the worst. 3 fairly young guys showed up in a rented truck and started loading stuff on the truck. They didn't ask me to sign anything, no insurance papers, no names of the movers, just blank. They could have drivin the truck off a cliff with all my stuff and I wouldn't have anything to put in the police report because they had no info. Seriously!??!?. Nothing was really wrapped properly except maybe the couches. The legs where taken off all the furniture, including the dining room table, but they left the bolts in the legs and taped them all together?!?!?!?. Why? This obviously ruined the legs during the move because the threads from the bolts rubbed on the legs and damaged them beyond repair. Now it looks like a cat (which I don't have) went to town on the very expensive dining room table legs. Uhhgg... On top of that. I had to make 2 trips back to my old property because the movers forgot the hardware for one of the kids bunk beds. Of course this slows down the move and I had to pay for the extra time. But not only that, they didn't EVEN put it back together..WTF?!?!?!. I had to (tiredly) go back and put it back together myself (from memory). Disaster. During the loading of the truck i heard broken glass rattling around in something. I asked one of the guys loading and he quickly said" oh that was from a previous move". Hrmmm, no, found out later that 2 of my crystal martini glasses had sacrificed themselves during the move. Oh fun, now I have half a set of crystal martini glasses that I cant replace. The move was already a PITA, and I hired these guys to make it easier on my family. It ended up being a negative gain once I was handed the final bill. Definitely not worth the money and I will be directing my family and friends elsewhere. Update: Just texted the owner for the heads up. Says there is nothing he can do now. I guess that's true considering he's already been paid. Le sigh.. Things ain't the way they used to be. Update2: I hear you, unfortunately we are just starting to get to the items that we found broken. We had the pair in see through boxes and my wife said that one of the movers who is the owners son kept making comments about my shoes and asked where I got them while also mentioning that he resells them. The owner tries to sound like a nice guy but being nice is cheap and worth less than my MISSING pair of shoes. He says he has been through this many times... so apparently others have filed police reports against him and made claims of theft and he doesn't care. I gave him TOO MANY chances to handle this civilly before any police report and just cut me a check for the shoes. My wife and I have the utmost character and do not NEED his $275-$300 for anything except the principle of redeeming me for my missing shoes. They didn't dissolve in thin air. His team took a "lunch break" and took the truck out of my wife's sight.. they are responsible for EVERY SINGLE THING THEY TOUCHED and had access to. DO NOT HIRE THEM. Go with a bigger, much more reliable, and professional company that will take responsibility for issues their staff causes. In case they change their company name and number, the owners name is Anthony Garcia! And his son and another guy moved our stuff. After the offense and his inability to do the right thing, he continued to text my wife and I numerous times after I said not to contact us again. You can tell his character and utter unprofessionalism by his gaslighting response to my wife and I's reviews. I was exhausted & not so sure I wanted to tackle the job by myself Sunday night after a 10 hour Penske truck drive... so I began the calls.
