We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire House 2 Home Movers. We were seeking a local company to handle a small move which had to be done quickly. We found H2H on Yelp, and were impressed with the high number of 5 star ratings. However, what really sold it was the list of precautions they provided to ensure the the furniture being moved was well protected, as well as the homes involved. I reached out and was contacted by Doug shortly thereafter. Once details and pricing was discussed, I was happy the date we wanted was available so we booked the service. Additionally, I asked if they would be willing to remove a few items from our home (the final destination) and take them to the dump. Doug agreed and provided a price which was fair. We were overjoyed, as this saved us the hassle of having to contact a 2nd company and coordinate efforts as this ALL had to be done on the same day. Major kudos to H2H for making this easy for us. One the day of the move, H2H arrived at the first location right on time. All furniture was wrapped and removed from a second story condo bedroom, and carefully placed in their ample truck. They were done in about an hour, and then proceeded to our home taking the most efficient route (about 30 minute drive.) Once they arrived at our house, they disassembled a heavy bed in a back bedroom, wrapped all pieces, and carefully removed them to make room for what was being moved in (we had chosen to move all other pieces for removal to our driveway prior to expedite the process.) All pieces were moved in quickly and carefully, and when done, they loaded their truck with all items we wanted taken away. Doug and Cruz took great care every step of the way. I'm writing this review as the 26' bobtail truck pulls out of my driveway. From the get-go, Doug and Adrian were nothing short of professional, pleasant, careful, and considerate of every aspect involving my move today. We received a message letting us know when they'd arrive, and they arrived right on time (early). Every piece, and I mean EVERY PIECE, of my furniture was wrapped in moving blankets, tape/shrink wrap, and very carefully and thoughtfully transported from the apartment to the truck. We have several 100+ yr old antique pieces of furniture, and, man, was I impressed with how these items were handled. We lived on the second floor of an apartment building and some of our items weren't exactly easy to maneuver, but these hard workers made it look easy! Fast forward to the destination, and a little bit of back-story: My wife and I have moved into my late mother-in-law's house with already existing furnishings present. What made these guys stand out even further is that they disassembled/reassembled our bed frame, actually moved furniture that was already at our destination to accommodate what was being moved in, and, accommodated our craziness by moving a particularly large piece of furniture to several different positions inside until we found the perfect spot!!!! With smiles on their faces and good humor! And every time I tried to help, I was shooed away and told they would handle it. (Hard for me to do as I've never hired movers before, but welcomed and very appreciated). I HIGHLY recommend House 2 Home Movers. At $130/hr (very competitive) on a 3 hr minimum for 2 workers, a 26' bobtail, all blankets, dollys, shrink wrap, tape, literally the whole kit and caboodle with a totally hands-off experience, I was absolutely blown away with the services my wife and I received.
