He then asked her to Zelle a deposit to make sure she was serious and so that he can reserve the date for her. When the day came he did not show up. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience. We were promised "professional and experienced" movers, but what we received was careless, reckless handling and a complete disregard for our belongings. The movers arrived late, failed to load the truck efficiently, and left several items behind. Only after we contacted the company did they return, rearrange the truck, and manage to fit what they had initially left -- proving everything could have fit properly the first time. Their poor packing and rushed work directly resulted in multiple broken items, including a light fixture in our new home and a family heirloom lamp that was packed with no protection, leaving the shade torn to shreds. The fixture they broke was deemed "worth $0" due to age -- even though we now have to replace it. It didn't stop there: they took chunks out of our dresser, broke fixtures on our washing machine, damaged pieces of our pinball machine, and failed to reassemble furniture as promised. We paid over $3,600 for what was supposed to be a professional move, yet received only $230 in compensation for extensive damages. The company refused to take meaningful responsibility, hiding behind "depreciation" of broken items instead of acknowledging that the damage was caused by reckless loading and careless unloading. We gave them every opportunity to make things right -- they did not. Do not use this company. They are irresponsible, unprofessional, and unwilling to stand behind their work. The experience was so poor that a full refund would have been a reasonable outcome. The $230 they offered didn't come close to covering the damages and we have been left with a mess...3 months later, we are still putting things back together. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE The young lady on the phone was polite and quoted me $636 for my move. She said hiring a third person would make it faster and feasible to bring my large furniture and appliances upstairs. The day of the move I spoke with someone else who quoted me over $900. I was greatly upset so she lowered that fee by declining the $150 for insurance of my items. MOVING DAY The three gentlemen I hired from this company arrived on time on moving day. Again, they were pleasant and polite young men. They weren't moving very fast and insisted on wrapping all the furniture, which was unnecessary and wasted a lot of time doing so. They insisted it was necessary to protect my belongings, etc.. Next time I will insist on wrapping not being done! The third guy wasted time going over the contract while he was on the clock. Insisted that this needed to be done in order to continue with the move. It was a waste of his time that he could've been best used helping to wrap my belongings so they can move faster. That's why I hired a third guy! LEFT BEHIND Two pieces of furniture were left behind and my refrigerator was left downstairs of my new townhouse because they stated it didn't fit through the stairway. I asked if they could remove the doors and they said no and it wouldn't make a difference. My big couch didn't make it upstairs, but I witnessed that one, and it was too large to fit in the stairwell. They offered to take that to donate or trash. I don't know what they did with it. All in all, I'm very disappointed in this company for not delivering the service for which I paid for, and I had to pay extra $441.85 and they still didn't complete the job. I wasn't gonna let them leave my belongings in the driveway and there was no room in the garage because that's where I parked my car. It's a scam if you ask me! There's no reason they should not have been able to get this done in 3 hours! Between three guys, the few items I was bringing over should have been able to be loaded in one to one and a half hours and unloaded within an hour. On another note, I was charged for a larger truck yet a smaller one was sent. I attempted to contact the company to dispute the additional fees or to have them bring up my remaining furniture, but there has been no response. I'm still waiting for a callback. I would not hire this company again!!! I'd rather pay the gentleman from my church next time!!! Ya' live and learn!!! As for the second charge, they did not deliver services they were hired for and that additional time should not have been necessary! Also, I was told that the initial fee had never been this expensive for anyone else, that alone tells me they were overcharging me when she changed the fee on moving day. What are you gonna do in the moment when you have to be out of that house? I felt pressured in the moment because I had to live out and I wasn't going have them leave my belongings in the driveway, I couldn't think straight due to my brain injury and chronic illness. Pressure isn't good for my brain illness, not to mention how fatigued I was from packing. LESSON LEARNED If you hire this company or any other company, stay on top of them to move fast. Have no compassion because this is what you hired them to do. TELL THEM TO MOVE FASTER. If they can't do this sort of work then they shouldn't be working there, but their time costs YOU money and in the end, I ended up paying double what I was initially quoted, which was absolutely unnecessary, and for a job they didn't complete!!! They guaranteed they could get it done within the three hours. I should've had them put money on that if they were so certain. lol. I laugh but it hurt me financially that this company took full advantage of me in my condition and the situation. They were on-time; loaded the truck quickly and arrived at the new location just as I did. The only problem was that the drawers on one of my bedroom dressers was damaged. The drawer slides seemed to have been pulled out of alignment and the drawers would no longer open or close corrrectly (there was nothing wrong with dresser prior to move). This meant the dresser was useless. After filing a claim for the damage, I would have expected them to either send someone to fix it, or at least a partial replacement. This was originally a $300 dresser (now 5 years old). They refunded me $36! That's simply insulting. When I asked how they arrived at that amount, I was told that claims are paid at 60 cents per pound! (Dresser weighed 60 lbs). I needed to move a 5 bedroom house. I called 2 men and a truck and spoke with Cory. She was great, very informative, and patient while we created my list of items. She suggested 4 guys and 1 truck and 5 hours. Pricing was in an area I was comfortable with, so I booked it. Moving day came, and only 3 guys showed up. Daniel R. (Driver) Johnny Ray, and James arrived. I was a bit worried at first, but I was assured by the driver Daniel R. There would be a price adjustment for the missing man, and they had provided me an additional 30 minutes of move time to compensate. Let me tell you something, these 3 guys were absolute beasts!! They wrapped and loaded like there was no tomorrow. They were courteous and respectful of my family, my property, and myself. They loaded in about 2.5/3 hours all the big ticket items from a 5 bedroom home. Once loaded, we headed to my new place. These guys shined even more while unloading. They were able to unload, place, and unwrap all my furniture in just over 1 hour. The payment process was also very easy. Daniel R was training Johnny Ray in becoming a driver and I can tell he will do very well in the role. All 3 guys have great customer service skills as well as incredibly strong backs!!. This was my first professional moving service. I'm absolutely sold on this in the future. I would 110% recommend 2 guys and a truck for your moving needs. No subcontractor movers. The fellas that show up are actually full-time employees So there's no disconnect on what the job entails and there's always recourse should you need it. I will update this post if i don't see the cost adjustment on the final posted payment but even then, that's on the office side, the gentlemen who handled my move are all stars. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY... READ BEFORE HIRING THEM. This was hands down the worst moving experience in my 20 years of using moving company services. If you have hired or thinking about hiring this company then you definitely need to know this. Upon booking, you will receive a text confirming your items and some other things regarding your move for you to sign ahead of time. However, on the day of your move you will be given a release of liability (ROL) form to sign when your movers arrive before they touch any of your items. If you choose not to sign, they will not start the job and if you cancel you will be charged hundreds for the cancellation. Here's where things get worse. They offer "valuation" (their insurance) for $150 that's supposed to cover any damages to your property or items up to $8K, sounds like a good offer especially if you're moving expensive items such as Tvs and appliances. Here's the problem: the ROL trumps the valuation you paid for. The movers wait for you to sign it before touching your things and get to work right after because what you've done is released them from being liable for anything damaged or broken during the move, meaning your items are no longer covered by the valuation you paid for. They do not provide you with the ROL form ahead of time because that would give you plenty of time to read it and they know that most people are too busy on the day of their move to fully read the document, so I'm providing it to you. I was told by the movers "it's just company policy that you sign, but if you have valuation then your items are still covered" LIES... My $1,600 86" tv was damaged by them as well as other things and they took no accountability nor did they try to rectify the situation at all due to the ROL, and the claim was even done by one of the workers who apologized for the damage and swore it would be replaced stating "this is what we do when tvs are damaged" implying this has happened several times. I could go on and on about the crap that took place during my two day move with them (which I probably will on a different review). Would I recommend this place? I would rather boil a 5 pound bag of rice one grain at time than to deal with them again and if you see someone about to hire them, do them a favor and slap their phone out of their hand. Listen to the negative reviews because they do ask for positive reviews/ I was told they would take some of my moving boxes away if I gave them a positive review, needless to say, I took those boxes to a dump myself. The ROL states they do not cover any tv or appliance unless it's in its original packaging, so if you've actually used your tv, washer/dryer, fridge, etc... then you're screwed if you sign any parts of that form but they will move your things unless you do. The form also states they do not cover any items of high value so unless you're moving $50 worth of packaged dollar tree items, you can bet your bottom dollar that nothing will be covered under "valuation" Do yourself a huge favor and hire another reputable company that will provide you with true insurance and no release of liability so they will be held accountable for damaging your things. Paying them more than double the original quote plus replacing my tv that was perfectly fine before they touched it was a complete waste of money. Here's the ROL to read ahead of time. Booking the entire move was pretty easy. Alyssa was in charge of booking and was very fast with the information needed. We got 3 movers and a large truck. The truck was really nice and fully equipped. Elijah, Dujuan, Ramon handled all my loading and unloading fast and safely. They were a good crew and really cool guys.
