I had been thinking about it, and usually that just means I change my mind because it involves going out in public, but I had the day free and on a whim and called the salon I've driven past several times. Andy answered the phone and was so professional and KIND that I decided it couldn't be that scary and booked the first appointment they had available for the day-- didn't want to lose my nerve! People get their hair done every day right? There is a wee parking lot, but there are reserved spaces for the salon. The interior is modern, clean, and open. There was music on, but not too loud and not too soft. The temperature was perfect, I'm usually cold all the time everywhere. They have little smocks for customers to wear, that probably helped too. Andy gave me a quick tour, and I sat down to wait for my stylist. I had booked with Carl and he was very friendly, polite, and calm. He was attentive and did a wonderful job helping me decide exactly what I wanted. Throughout the entire process he would inform me what he was doing and why, and was overall extremely pleasant to have a conversation with! I was really happy with the cut and style-- Carl did a fantastic job and is a true professional. Contactless payment made everything easy, and you pay for services first and then use a separate system for gratuity. Overall a wonderful experience and very lovely people!

I did not get a blow out because I was going to get my hair wet the next day and didn't want to waste $100 (It was already $200 with tip!) plus, if he followed the formula it wouldn't matter. Well, he didn't! Not only did he leave a big chunk of gray in the front, the roots were much lighter and there was an obvious demarcation line on my very dark hair. He got upset and offended when I went back and asked if he followed the formula. He told me my entire head was full of demarcation lines. It's not! He was rude, combative, and unprofessional. I will never go back and I suggest you do your research - overpriced and a waste of money for screwing up a simple root touch up.

This salon and its staff are lovely, so nice, and SO good at what they do. I was lucky to find Cara in September 2021 when I moved back to Houston. I needed a curly-hair, dry-cut and color/highlight pro; Cara goes above and beyond with helping me maintain a beautiful curly cut and color! She also got me through chemo through all of 2022. Cara was so supportive when my hair fell out, gave me an epic buzz cut, let me know when it was time to shave it off completely, and then stuck by me as my curls grew back out. She also always does a beautiful job on my hair color/root touch-up and highlights. 100/10 recommend Cara! On the few occasions when she has been unavailable, Rachel, Meg, and Jen have also been fantastic. I left with not just lopsided hair but a massive gray streak from where he left the toner on too long. And I paid $300 for the privilege of this. Never again. I would steer clear of this place.
