Due to some scheduling and traveling challenges over the past few months, getting to Epic wasn't convenient for me, so I went elsewhere for a few trims and and no one had been able to fix my bang fiasco. (See another of my reviews for a different place in regards to this ginormous mistake!) I knew that Adrienne could work her magic and correct the problem, so I made an appointment as soon as time allowed. I could no longer stand my "wings" after living with them for several months and had three failed attempts at getting them tamed. I was almost embarrassed to be going back, but I was welcomed back with a big hug and a stylist that was genuinely happy to see me again! As I expected, I walked out loving my fresh color, and of course, my bangs FINALLY were under control and I really liked my style again!! It was a huge relief. I know that sounds a little dramatic, but have you ever been super self-conscious about something? I feel like the stylists at Epic really take the time to listen to what you want, and get to know both you and your hair before they even take the scissors out. I also needed my nails filled BADLY, it was driving me nuts! And I'll admit she was accommodating with time, I called just before 6:30 and they closed at 7 and she still said to come in, which was greatly appreciated! But had I known it would've turned out like this I definitely would have gone somewhere else or waited to go to the original place that did them. Not only was the place dirty (say hi to the nasty spider hanging out at the bottom of the entrance door!) but the place has this odd funky smell (not normal nail salon smell either, more like stale water damage funk) . But the worst part is after only 3 DAYS! My nails are chipping, the polish on the thumb is basically coming off as one piece, she changed the shape without confirming it was ok, also thinned them too, and the polish after 3 coats wasn't remotely even from finger to finger, some you can see clear through it, (which I should have walked out as soon as I looked at the selection on the wall because they were all separated and noticably old and had been sitting there for God knows how long!) Also I had asked her to fix the polish on the edges because it didn't cover the whole nail, instead she started to just file it down instead until I stopped her! And then to top it off when I was paying, maybe it's just me idk, but you don't ask your customer about a tip! If you get it cool but it's definitely not mandatory and shouldn't make people feel obligated, especially when you did a crappy job! Worst experience in a nail salon ever!

I was looking around as my feet were soaking and noticed the other tubs. Looked dirty. The chairs were all worn and torn. The stations were dirty. Dust etc. she cut my skin underneath my toe. (I hope I don't get an infection.} i gave it 3 stars because my toes were painted nice. My hands which I got a dip. Some of the tips were crooked. whatever she did which I noticed after, there not smooth. There mistakes all over the place. It looks terrible on most my nails. Since I paid $50 for that I will keep them on until I see someone else. I can't wait to start over with my nails. I would not go back.
