The shop/outdoor rental place is in a barn across the road from the river and although it looks like a good size from the outside, I was blown away when I went in. Kayaks and bicycles can be rented by the day, and inner tubes and pumps purchased, taking care of river recreation needs. But allow a LOT of extra time for shopping in the rest of the store when you return your gear-- the rest of the 6,000 square feet of renovated barn is chock full of fun gifts, books, clothing, outdoor gear, backpacks, water shoes, jewelry, cute housewares and all sorts of upscale souvenirs to the point where I could have spent the entire day browsing. They also have a partnership with local nature organization supporting the Sourlands, so there is a good cause to support while shopping, and some interesting local guides available in the book section. In the age of internet retail, having a place like this to explore is priceless (although I think they also do internet sales and gift baskets too). Will definitely be back, hopefully very soon.

Upon entering you have to provide proof of vaccination, which goes against the law at asking proof of vaccination unless you serve food. She asked if my kids had a mask, and when I said no they can go outside she then ask if they were age enough to stand outside in the parking lot by themselves. Although she did not know that my wife was standing outside the door, it was not her place or her business to say anything away. Her smart comments and rude snarky tone was very unappreciated. We ended up leaving without purchasing anything. I would never recommend going to the store and then I'm surprised that they were open to take advantage of the LBGTQIA community

First: inventory. A wide and broadly appealing selection of cards and little gifts can be found here for nearly every occasion. What I love most is I can find plenty of cards that aren't drowned in glitter, which I hate. Second: customer service. The owner and her staff are so kind and welcoming. Good customer service seems to be a dying art in the world today, but Angel's has plenty to offer. I always feel appreciated as a customer when I shop here. Finally: parking. There's plenty of it, even when the grocery next door is busy on weekends. This greeting card business is worthy of your patronage, and you'll love the selection. Don't shop anywhere else.
