parrot Cove is a very nice parrot pet store. The parrots are socialized, and in great health condition. their feathers are beautiful and not damaged. It would be a great place to buy a nice parrot. They have loose bird food and bags, cinnamon sticks, and different mixes of food. there are cages purchase different things available for parrots in their cage. We have been taking our cockatiel birds here for 5 years to get their wings and nails trimmed and never had a problem. Last week we boarded them while on vacation and asked to have their wings and nails trimmed. Once we picked them up one bird was bleeding and was clipped all the way down to his skin and it does not appear they clipped the other bird at all. When calling the store to find out what happened to the first bird they denied anything happened, called us liars, and were rude. There is even blood on the toy we had in the cage while being board. We will NOT go back and I definitely do NOT recommend boarding or getting their wings clipped from this store! read more

We have been taking our two cockatiels here for over years, however after boarding them for a few days we noticed that one has a lot of blood coming from his wing. We asked for both their wings and nails to be trimmed, where one was not trimmed at all and one had his wings clipped all the way down to the skin. There was also blood all over the toy that was in the cage when we boarded them, and it was not with them following leaving the store. Whenever I called the store to find out what happened, the rude owner called me a liar, and asked me I felt good being a liar, rather than take any accountability. She also hung up on me during our conversation, and claimed that we were cheap by only boarding them in one cage rather than two, whenever they are always togeather. The owner and associate lied about their wings both being nubs upon arrival for us boarding them, however one has a long feather while the other has nubs. We are not coming back to this store and would NOT recommend them! read more

I purchased my 6 month old white bellied Caique Rosco on 11/16/2024. The staff is amazing and very Knowledgeable. I highly recommend this very clean bird store. I went in looking for a new friend after losing my dog in October. I had had birds before, but I had never considered a Caique. All their birds are hand fed and on pellets, vegetables and fruits. Rosco decided that day I was his person. I didn't have cage so I thought I was going to have to come back the next day with a truck. Robin went above and beyond and drove 40 minutes away to deliver my cage so I could take him home that day!!! They also sent me home with his favorite treat popcorn. read more

We also bought a bird cage on Sunday, and it was missing some screws, nuts , washers we could not finish our African grey's play top and on the inside, we could not put her bowls cause of missing parts. This same cage in tan was the same price and already put together. We got in black but had to put it together. However, the directions for the cage were horrible, as if a toddler wrote them did a say wrote. I meant just a picture printed. Despite the issues with the instructions, we got the missing parts and finished the cage. We also got two play stands. The wood is very pretty, and the floor of the stand is unique and unlike other stands on the market. The stands have a place for toys. It has wheels as well, which is nice. It could be improved with a place for food bowls. They do sell other stands with food bowls. However, the wood ones that had the nice floor don't have food bowls. I got a SunConure from here on 05/29/2020. She is now turning four on April 19th, 2024. I did wait to take her home on 06/30/2020. As she was not on solid foods yet, and I think I was able to feed her formula. While your parrot is still on formula they is a service where you can pay, and they will give the Parrot formula. Also you can come and visit your parrot during this time. I did this with my SunConure and came very often and played with her. This strengthened our bond, and she trusted me to hold her and step up. Due to this, when I took her home, I was able to have her step up, go to her cage, and hold her on the couch all on day 1 at home. read more

I suggest going here if you want to purchase a bird ,here's why. First they are VERY educated about different types of parrots. Second they feed their parrots right with a diet of Pellets, seeds, and vegetables. Also people who work there are very nice and are willing to help you. This is a very nice place! read more

The toys are by far expensive. You're looking at 20 bucks for a toy made out of cardboard. The birds looked fine. I only focused on the Quakers though. The price for them was a bit iffy compared to other places and breeders. They also didn't have the birds blood tested for their gender to begin with and wanted to charge us for blood tests to see if they even have the gender we're looking for. Which is a bit shady considering the store would benefit from the free blood tests they were going to make us pay for if it turns out they were both females. read more

My son bought a quaker parrot from Parrot's Cove. In less than five day it died. We called and spoke with someone there. We were told that they were not taking any responsibility unless we do an autopsy on the bird proving that it was not our fault. By far the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. This is not the first time my son has owned birds, in fact he is a wonderful bird owner. He sold two of his birds to get funding to buy this one bird. Needless to say he is heart broken. read more
