We had laughs smiles the whole morning making a what can be a stressful morning to instead, be filled with aloha vibes. These exceptional and talented ladies know exactly what they're doing which takes away from the stress on your special day. Each one of them has their own unique story as to how they landed at the island from previously working at the MAC counter in California to vacationing once and never wanting to leave the island or meeting their husband on the island but the common theme is their love for the island and the love of make up and hair which showed in their work. I've truly enjoyed this team immensely. The team really make sure you are feeling 100% before you leave to the venue, fixing last minute bobby-pin to changing the color of your lipstick completely because you didn't feel . Not to mention, they also took care of my mom and my MIL far after I left, making sure they're loving their make over as well. My wedding was back in Sept of 2022 and for me to now write a review shows how much of an impact they've made in my special day. I told them three things- I didn't want my ear to be sticking out, I didn't want my hair blowing in my face or sticking on me from the humidity and I'm very particular with the shape of my eyebrows. I spent days on Pinterest looking at different hair styles on how to hide my ear but the team took my inspo pictures and did their own thing, making it better than I can imagine. For any bride that's stressing out on finding the perfect team to do your hair and makeup, trust me when I say you can't go wrong with the MAB team. I didn't have any product and minimal make up as it was a destination wedding and I had booked her before we left for Hawaii. Since I also spent an hour waiting for her, my maid of honor was only able to straighten her hair after trying to do mine and my mom's hair did not get done either. We were almost late for the wedding as we started all this stuff late. Ends up she thought my wedding was the Friday, and not the Thursday it was suppose to be. On top of that, she was lost and couldn't find the condo on the wrong wedding day. I did my research, and thought that Jessica's pricing was very reasonable, and that her work resembled what I was looking for. With less than a week heads up, she was able to coordinate a time for my hair and makeup, and was so accommodating! I was very happy with the results after she was complete, but the real test came for the actual engagement shoot where we were on the beach getting splashed with ocean water, and battling wind. I have VERY fine blonde hair, and every piece stayed in place (and it was down in loose curls!), and my makeup look like it had just been put on despite hours in humid/wet conditions --- I was floored! Obviously with such a great experience, I booked her and her team for our wedding date once we settled on a venue. The results on our wedding day were nothing short of what I expected. She guided me through the process of how to do multiple (1 bride, 5 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and a groom's service) people's hair/makeup within tight timeframe, and even was able to take on an extra person for hair, and a groomsmen for a touchup last minute!
