Told me they would only pay me for the gold weight of an authentic Van Cleef bracelet with box and papers! The guy who helped me was not knowledgeable with jewelry! Do not go here to pawn high end items ...I.e. large diamonds and authentic name brand pieces ! If they low ball me on a van cleef bracelet just think what they would do on a Rolex ! These people break their word. I stopped in and asked about a guitar and asked if they would do $300 on it. They said yes, so I told them I'd like to test it and then I'd go to the ATM. They said there was an ATM down the street. They did not have a cable to test it, I told them I have one in my car, so I went outside and grabbed it. Came back and they said oh we will not do $300, now $375. I said you told me $300 multiple times. He said yeah, but we won't do it, $375. The manager of the shop just stood blankly looking past me not making eye contact with me when I was standing at the counter to be helped for quite sometime before someone else helped. I called this pawn shop before wasting my time and spending $12 in a Uber ride. I called and explained exactly what I had to bring and the brand names that they were. I was selling my tools that I had purchased over time. Needed to sell because I'm moving out of state! Upon arriving to the shop I was immediately turned away for the items that i had. I was puzzled because the guy didn't even ask what I had. I explained that I spoke to him a rep before coming and he assured me that they took the items that I described to him! Then the guy looks at my items and offers me $20 for a brand new Ryobi drill with 3 batteries. I asked for $30. He said no, but you can throw in one of the extension cords as well! imagine the shock of insult on my face! To add insult to injury, they offered to purchase my jewelry from me! Like I'm a crackhead that needs their next fix! I ask to speak with his manager and he goes over to get him. I brought my tanzanite ring here today that is white gold 14 carat and has small diamonds surrounding it. I paid over $1800 for the ring and was asked how much I wanted. The least I could take was $500, but they offered less than $100. I was shown another ring that had more clarity than mine, even though my ring has a lot of carats and tanzanite is extremely rare. I know they wanted a heavier in weight gold, but oh well. I am glad I did not sell my ring. I don't mind selling it for a reasonable price, but not for something crazy. read more

These people aren't helpful at all. I would bet the only reason anyone has left them a 5 star review was for a bump up on the offer they were given. I was very interested in a few items that they had and they wouldn't send me any information about the items. They wernt friendly or helpful at all. I live 3hrs away from the shop so I wanted information on the items so I knew exactly what they were so that I wouldnt waste 6hrs driving because gas is $5/gallon these days. These guys are shady! Bad character. I went to sell two oz 24k gold (at the time was 1760.00/oz) they misunderstood me and thought I wanted 1660 for both not each. Then he tried to offer me 1500. I didn't catch the misunderstanding until he handed me a receipt to sign for 1660. They would have happily bought my gold for half price thinking I didn't know what I was selling.
