He seemed to be preoccupied with the game he was playing on his phone.When I finally got his attention he asked what kind of package was sent and I told him "I don't know" he was frustrated but how am I supposed to know that information. If you are looking for a guitar, I would not recommend this place. The pictures from past reviews showed a wide selection. I came in on a Saturday afternoon. The outer door was open but the security door was locked, and it seemed like nobody was home. Then a guy who was lying down behind the register popped up and buzzed me in. They had only 3 guitars... a tele copy, and two odd looking electric travel guitars. There were a boatload of amps and that was it. I asked if it was their total selection and the guy half shrugged. The guy at the counter took a hot glance at it, and then proceeded to be rude, condescending, and frankly an asshole. When I tried to engage further, he proceeded to talk to me in a dismissive way, not even bothering to make eye contact before turning to the next customer. Can't say enough good things. Came in looking for video and audio equipment after mine had been stolen out of my car. The owner was kind, accommodating, and really worked with us on price to get BETTER equipment than what I had stolen at a fraction of a price. I was thrilled. I had a really great experience with SUNSET PAWNBROKERS. I was in desperate need of cash so I took my mini iPad and a gold wedding band of my fathers into pawn shop. The process was fairly easy. He gave me three months to pay off the loan that he gave me for the things I gave him. it was about $25 for each item for him to loan me $100 per Item which equated to $200 total. I ended up paying back $240 approximately to get my things back. At one point I got really nervous because my dad's ring who God bless his soul, is now dead, but the ring was close to being up for payment and "if i dont pay them the money - they take it" thingy. Well he said, "if you just pay the interest which is $25 to borrow the hundred dollars then I'll extend your ring for another three months so that will give you some time to gather the money to get it out." I had no idea that that was even possible and to be honest at the time it was like the biggest deal in the world to me because I did not want to lose the only thing I still had from my dad which was his wedding band if I would've lost that I would've tried to kill myself probably but instead he was very understanding and said no problem just pay the interest and then you have three more months to get everything out. I went in today to pay the 240. It worked out very well. He was very easy to get along with. Very simple process and honestly, the $25 to get the $100 didn't seem so bad and really doesn't seem so bad when I originally got the money after giving the items it only took five minutes to walk in and walk out. if you need the money bad and you got stuff that he will take, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't want to give this fine business and the wonderful gentleman, business. read more

When I hear the name Sunset Pawnbrokers two words come to mind reputable and honest. I was in the store looking for a guitar to buy for a gift and stumbled across an amazing display of guitars at incredibly competitive prices. As I'm doing my victory lap around the entire store in fear I may miss the next great deal of the century . I heard by name being called over and over again I look in the watch showcase and this magnificent black diamond and ruby watch was still chanting my name. I had to silence the chanting that now became deafening. When presented with a situation like this in any retail environment I knew I was left no other choice but I had to try it on. Was it love?
