However, gold has a clear melt value and the offer I received here was far below what other reputable buyers were willing to pay. I have sold to this business many times in the past because I believed they were honest, but after comparing offers I now realize I have probably missed out on a LOT of money. This time they offered me 300 dollars for my gold, while another gold exchange offered me 800 dollars for the exact same items, which matched the current melt value. It also makes me think about people who really need the money and might not know they could get a much fairer offer elsewhere. Because of my experience, I would not recommend this place. I strongly suggest getting multiple quotes before selling to make sure you are receiving a fair price.

They are not honest. The employees all give different types of information when you call in and…read morethen when you walk in, it's a different story they try to charge you extra once you walk in, it's never what's actually on the contract then they try to give you some excuse that doesn't even make sense . Half the time their system is down or doesn't work they tell you to waste your time and come back on a different day. The employees are also very rude. I have been going to them for years, but I definitely will not do business with them again. I believe it's ran by new management and owner and the business is definitely not the same. I read your response back to my review and we both know it's a complete lie. So unprofessional of you as the owner to lie and say that I yelled at the employee, I was upset, which I most definitely had the right to be but I would never yell not my character or who I am, as a business owner and supervisor, you are obviously not doing your job correctly because you have not trained your employees to be respectful and apologetic when they are at the wrong but you as a business owner yourself had zero respect to apologize for something that clearly a customer is upset about and isn't in the wrong. You should know better as an owner very bad way to run business . You were not the one who spoke to me over the phone so for you to assume you know what information your employee gave me when as a customer I told you exactly what happened when I called in by phone. I was told bring the tickets in she did not once mentioned that the tickets for the same item have to be on a certain date or we will just charge you more. If it's the same item and you're able to pull it up on your system then all you were doing is just giving me a hard time like I said to make extra money off of what you already made from my jewelry for the many years I've been coming to this pawnshop. Again very poor customer service and very unprofessional, especially you as an owner for not taking responsibility at least apologizing to the customer and making sure customers leave happy so they can come back again and or refer other people. Like I mentioned, very disappointing and I will not do business with you again and unfortunately, I will let my family and friends know about my experience as well. Wishing your business luck hopefully next time you will treat customers better and you will train your employees to show more respect to customers and to give accurate information..
