Been coming here since 2017 and my go to barber is Nee - she does an amazing job! My hair is pretty difficult to cut because it has so many different cowlicks but Nee is a true professional. Unfortunately, due to the COVID pandemic, all barber shops have been forced to close temporarily, so I wanted to post this review to show some support. I get my haircut every two weeks or so, and my last haircut was in Feb, so I've missed roughly 5 haircuts. I've been trying to reach this barber shop to pay them the 5 haircuts I've missed; however, I haven't had any luck. Before even starting the shorter lady (there are two plus the guy who I assume is the owner) whispered in my ears who did your hair last time? Then went ahead to do a lousiest job. Came in with the hope of finding a new barber. This ain't it. I am greeted and take my seat. Minutes later I am confronted by one of the barbers there and asked if I am there for a haircut because my hair is too short. What other business does one have at a barber shop if not for a haircut? Does it matter if my hair is short? I'm spending the money, You just do your job and cut it. It's my turn, I take my seat. The barber starts working without asking what I want. I communicate what style haircut I want. Totally missed the mark. I go to pay, not before asking how much. He says 16, gave him a 20 and put the man to the test. I make sure to get change to see how he reacts if he does not get the tip. True colors revealed, dude hands me the change, turns and leaves, doesn't even face me, nothing. Total disrespect. I called to set an appointment with Thanh however he told me that it was a MAYBE that I could get a 3 o'clock appointment the next day, I waited the entire day the following day and still didn't hear from him until 3:07 when he calls me and yells at me for not making the appointment, after explaining to him that it was not a for sure set time he still however continued to yell at me and then proceeded to hang up the phone on me. I don't know why he has never liked me, maybe it's because of my middle eastern decent considering the fact that I'm ALWAYS nice to this man and yet every time he gives me this weird attitude. One of the best cuts I've gotten in a long time. Having just moved to the neighborhood and in need of a haircut a month ago, my hair had become a month overgrown as I scoured the land in search of a facility capable of cutting my precious locks. Though I passed by A+ Barber on my way to and from work each day, I knew this couldn't be that place because.. well.. it was too easy. Another month passed and my hair was now two months overgrown and the struggle became all to real. Going through seemingly tubs of hair product each week just to keep my mane out of my eyes, I held the clippers in my hand, ready to buzz it down to a level 3 but I couldn't. I decided I had to give A+ a shot. Walking through the doors, a ding alerted the only barber in the shop that I had arrived. I could see that twinkle in her eye vanish immediately as she saw the task before her; the mop on my head. However, with great enthusiasm, she spun the chair, lassoed the protective hair shield around me and went to work. Though it took around 25-30 minutes, it was one of the best cuts I have ever received. She was very detailed and knew exactly how the hair would turn out when she applied certain cuts and techniques.* *disclaimer: my hair NEVER behaves normally for barbers. Great hair cuts at a reasonable cost. I walk over to the shopping center all the time because it's close. We went to get my sons hair cut and like any six year old does, he left his coat. They kept the cost and waited until they saw us walking by and ran out to give it back to us. I was amazed and very grateful. Besides that we had been getting his hair cut at the kids place around the corner and they cut his ear twice. The owner said if I tried again at my expanse they would get it right and they did the same thing. That's when I tried this place and they did a better job with children then they place that claimed to specialize in children's cuts. Not only that but they discount kids cuts. My husband and kids have been coming to this barber since 2014. They can get very busy, but they offer quality hair cuts each time. No matter how long the line of people waiting is, each barber takes their time to pay attention to each detail and gives you the haircut you request. Even on my two young children, they don't ever rush or try to cut corners. The workers in this shop work so hard and often don't even get a break during the busy days.
