I highly recommend A Plus Car Stereo, Leon, and his team! It's rare to find a service provider that offers as much value, integrity, fair prices, and a complete commitment to customer care. I bought an older Mercedes convertible that desperately needed an audio upgrade and back-up camera. After making calls to find the best deal, A Plus beat all of them over the phone. So, I walk into A Plus at about one minute before closing time. They never blinked as they stayed late to answer my questions and advise me. In the end, their advice saved me from over-purchasing a bunch of bells and whistles that I didn't want or need. The stereo/camera is fantastic and they did an awesome job. And, that's not the end of the story! My car's electronic key glitched. It had done this with me before but now it's in their shop, blocking all access and now I'm unable to pick it up. Instead of asking me to call a tow truck and get out of the way - they set out to fix it for me. The exact words were, "I'm afraid it'll leave you stranded somewhere and I just don't want that to happen!" However, fixing it was complicated. So, they called in some specialists and spent hours trouble-shooting. My husband had called to find out what the dealership would charge us and all I can say is OUCH! Even the part was more expensive than what A Plus charged! And, it was done the very next day with many communication points. They actually called me to give me updates! I'm so impressed that not only will I hire them again, but I'll be taking all my cars there for inspections, oil changes, etc. (As yes, they do that too!) This has always been and will always be a really excellent Car and truck stereo place. They have really great friendly, helpful staff, great quality products including stereos, amplifiers, better speakers if you don't like your stock ones or if they have scratchiness or distortion sounds to them. They have also successfully installed the Viper remote Start alarms on both of my recent vehicles fine, a 2010 Ford Focus and 2020 Toyota Corolla. they really worked with me well the second time around the newer vehicle since I only put the regular alarm in first. Or even though it took a little longer than expected, they knocked off last about $80 I believe fortunately. They also will readjust the alarm sensitivity down, usually if needed later. "I also will remember to ask them how to try and arm and disarm the alarm quietly more like a Stock one." Thanks, A Plus. Would highly recommend. read more

Went there for an inspection and they failed my car and tried to convince me I had illegal tint on the REAR windows behind the driver and then wanted to charge me $300 to install "legal" tint. This place does not know the law b/c on the TX DPS website it clearly states all windows BEHIND the driver "are completely exempted from regulation under the Texas Transportation Code." It is only the windows directly Left/Right of the driver that cannot be darker than 25% transmittance. Anyway, went to another shop that understood the law and was not trying to scam me and my car passed just fine. I actually told them to measure the tint and it passed on the front and for the rear they did not even bother since they know the law. Avoid this place and don't get scammed. read more

With respect to car audio install and design, I would highly recommend A Plus. I had already gotten a quote from a competitor. Leon, the owner of A -Plus is heavily involved in the design and installation of their systems. Leon listened to what I actually wanted (nice clean sound with a 12" sub) and he quoted me a price for $1,300 less than the competitor. Because I am a layperson when it comes to this, I appreciate Leon pointing out where the competitor might have been trying to upsell me on certain items. He also gave me a price and stuck to it. The installation went without a hitch, and all is buttoned up nice and tight--and quiet. A-Plus and Leon are certainly worthy of consideration for any of your car accessory needs!!!! read more

We came in to get my son's car radio checked because the bluetooth wasn't working. They checked his radio and let him know it was a faulty bluetooth module and then instead of trying to sell us a new radio (which they easily could have done) they said we should go back to the dealer to get it fixed since it should still be under warranty. They didn't even charge us for the diagnostic which is normally $80! Very friendly, very trustworthy and out to give you an honest deal! I highly recommend them for any work you may need. I wanted a better sound to my stereo in my 1969 Chevelle, they added a power supply and a subwoofer and it all sounds great. I also had purchased some Halo lights and had them install them for me. I had an issue with the controller and when I received one from the supplier they installed for me and didn't charge me anything. I am going to have them put ground effect lights on my car as well. If you need some stereo or lighting done on your vehicle I definitely would recommend that you give them your business. read more

I have a 1998 Chevy Silverado I had a alarm put in at the flea market which I don't recommend doing they did a horrible job I started having problems starting my truck at times which I never had before. I was referred to them by a friend and I took ot too them and they fixed it and add a sound system in as well.
