This is the first time I've gone to this business for dry cleaning. I dropped off a suit and blouse on Monday. Today, I picked them up. The suit looks as wrinkled as it did when I dropped it off, except now, it was on a hanger and had the garment plastic on it. I am steaming it now which defeats the purpose of me saving some time. I trusted this business with my faux fur coat and deeply regret it. After their handling, my coat was damaged. When I brought it to their attention, they took zero accountability. There was no reimbursement offered, no solution presented, and no follow-up communication whatsoever. Change in ownership? For 22 years this was our go to cleaners. Have tried twice in the last month to get clothing laundered/dry cleaned/pressed. My husband's brand new shirt was what looked like it was burned on the back and was dirty across the bottom when he picked it up. All of the other clothes were ok, but we had to wait for the new owner to come in and inspect the shirt. He said there is no way it could be burnt and that it was dirt. (This is a $60 shirt that just came out of the plastic bag and we took as it had the fold marks, so the dirt was not from us.) Then when we said how much the shirt cost us, he replied that if he couldn't fix the stain or burn, that he would only be able to pay $40 for the shirt. "What?" So I am picking up the shirt and I am truly hoping that the shirt is extremely white now, otherwise I am expectlng repayment for that shirt. Also, I will not be coming to this cleaners again, which I have been coming to for the last 9 years. I will be taking my clothes to another cleaners from now on... possibly the Tide Cleaners as they are farther, but have had a much better reputation. I am so frustrated by this. I have to admit, the lady who helped me was very courteous and friendly. I really didn't want to make this review because of her being so friendly, but I am just frustrated with the results of the cleaning. This toga is 2 months old, and in very good condition. Took this in for its first dry clean which had wrinkles, but when I got it back, it was as if they didn't dry clean and press it at all. What's worse is that the front and center seam was torn. Now, I am set back having to wash the toga at the very last minute to make sure it's cleaned and pressed. I am not trying to be vindictive in my posting, but I did trust this business to perform an "A Plus" quality of work, only to find out that level of quality fell short. Just posting my experience and frustration coupled with pictures and the hanger that came with the return product so you know this wasn't a "before" pic. I am not asking for a refund, just letting the business know, this quality of prepaid work is unacceptable. read more

One star is too generous. This place just sucks. My family has had two alteration jobs screwed up here. On Monday 06/26/2023 I took two pairs of pants to have the waist let out a half inch each. They were a little tight and uncomfortable. I paid and picked them up the following Thursday. When I tried them on at home I found that the moron seamstress took the waist in a half inch instead of letting them out. There is more fabric on the inside back than there was and now they are so tight I can barely fasten the waist. Now extremely uncomfortable. I tried calling on Friday to complain but the would not answer the phone. Don't get any alterations done there, you will be sorry. I will not be getting anything done with those idiots there again. read more

I rarely need dry cleaning services but my dog chewed a hole into our new down comforter. They took it right in, patched it up and cleaned it. Price was very reasonable, a few days later I got it back in a very cute plastic zipper bag. Basically I was happy with my service and thought they were professional. I took in five Tommy Bahama shirts the other week. I was getting them dry cleaned so that I could sell them on eBay. A week later when they were sold I went to fold them up and send them away. I found that one of the shirts had a hole, (larger than a quarter) on the back right shoulder. I was pretty sure that it wasn't there before. So I took the shirt in and showed Laura, she said that they would take a look at the videos to see if there was something they could find. A few days later I got a call from the owner, saying that he couldn't find anything on the videos, But he was still willing to pay for the shirt, (that would have been around $80) but I wasn't 100% sure that it happened there and he couldn't find anything on the videos, so I told him not to worry about it, but he insisted that he at least pays for my 5 shirts that were dry cleaned. I've been going to A+ for over 15 years. The shop has changed operator/manager several times over the years but the service and quality have been consistently great. The price of alterations seems quite inexpensive and every job has been perfect (except that time I said I wanted the length longer than suggested - I learned to listen after that). A + Cleaners saves the day!! After that nightmarish experience over at T&T Cleaners (DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT give them your business. Wallace is a bitter and hateful man!!) we decide to pop on into A+ Cleaners a couple of exits down on Ann Road. Hoping for the best, as picking an alterations place makes us so skeptical now, we decide to give it a try. Although there were some language barriers, we explained to them what had happen to the pants at the other place (again, DO NOT GO THERE) and the employees there were happy to help. They were sympathetic to what had happened and clearly saw how upset we were that the other place had royally F'd up a $600 suit. They were on it with a quickness!! Kind, friendly and super DUPER professional. We had thought the pants were damaged way beyond any hope for repair. When I went to pick up the pants, it was as if no damage was ever done. They removed the fugly blue hem line and matched it PERFECTLY to the correct thread color of the pants. They pressed it as if Ben Sherman himself custom fitted this suit. Safe to say we are HAPPY customers!! And we highly recommend this place. For only $8, they saved the day and did it without a hitch and full of smiles. read more

I'm an estate manager and the family I work for has used A+ for the 10 years they've been in business, obviously the family is very happy with the A+ service. I bring in expensive suits, duvets, and other items and have always been pleased with the results. There has only been 2x that I've had an issue and both times management has been concerned and rectified the problem. It's the same crew working year after year and they get to know their customers, usually my clothes are already being located or even hanging on the rack by the time I park my car and go in :) I've only had a couple of expiriences with the tailor and only in the last year, but I'm hesitant about bringing anything else in for tailoring as both occasions I was less than impressed (though the one time I said something they were quick to fix the error, and for free, as it should be). Overall this is a great, friendly, family run business - which are the exact type of places I like to support! read more

I am writing this because i called first on this matter, and got no where. I took 2 pairs of pants in to get hemmed. I was told the price would be 18.00. Not a problem. This was told to me over the phone. I get there she puts the pins where they need to be. I went to pay because i thought the sign said if you prepay it is less. They tell me 24.00 would be my total. I said but you told me it was 18.00. Hmmm so i paid the 24.00.. I came back to pick them up when they said they would be ready. Thanked them and off i went. The were all nice in the plastic covering. Little did i know, that they did not even press them. They only did them hemmed part. They were my work pants and it is not cool when i find out i am working on the road and they are still wrinkled. This was horrifying as i don't have an iron with me on a train. I pride my self in my work uniforms. So, when i called today on this matter, they did not even care. Said well you have to pay to have them pressed. REALLY !!!! I just know i will NEVER go here again. This is an up date. I am changing my rating . After some misunderstanding and not communicating we were able to get this resolved. Thank you again Gideon . I guess it just goes to show always try and work it out. But I drive here this morning before work and they tell me that tailor won't be coming until 930. Now the last time that happened someone pinned my alterations for me. But today the man who by the way was standing right in front of me said he couldn't pin it until 1030. When I asked could the tailor pin it at 9:30 when she came in he said no? Slow service. It takes days to get your clothes back and when I picked up one of my shirts today the buttons were missing on one of the shirts and on a safety pin attached to the shirt. The owner admitted they had removed them and refused to put them back on and screamed at me when I asked if they would put them back on. This place is awful!!! I brought a dress in that was a little too long (I'm 5'3'') and asked for 3inches to be hemmed off the bottom. When I received my dress it had been hemmed 10 inches!!! Nobody could tell me why my dress was now a shirt! None of the employees were apologetic. They blamed me for the mistake and didn't even offer me my $12 that I paid to have it altered. When I tried to explain they kept turning to each other and spoke in their own language; which I feel is exceptionally rude.
