I chose All Star Dry Cleaners because it was close to my house, and the reviews were good. I dropped off my husband's suit on a Thursday and they said it would be ready Friday after 4pm. I went back on Tuesday and picked it up. It looked good. It was only $14. I definitely will use them again. They also have tailoring services. However, to my surprise, All Star Dry Cleaners has your items ready in just one day! I was satisfied with their work on my work uniform items, and even happier with their quick turn around. I brought in a pair of levis to be hemmed. I asked them to hem them in blue not the orange they were already hemmed with. Picked then up and they were still orange. The guy who I assume was the one who hemmed them told me there was no note and was argumentative. I just took them and left. I later looked at my receipt. It said "Jeans no charge Navy!" What was really maddening was that I also discovered that he just folded the hem up and did not cut it off and sewed them. The excess that should have been cut off gets tugged at when I put them on and is in the way! It is NOT how you hem pants. It was the lazy man's way of hemming! read more

Don't go here. Rude people. I went in for alterations on 2 pants. They never let me know it's ready (2 days ago!) then tell me not enough material to make a adjustment. I went back got them and the jeans, wasn't washed, they just pressed over the legs. 2 skirts, one wasn't done, i didn't get a call or anything to explain why, the second skirt Was altered down the sides which I specifically said not to just take in the waist. They took forever and the prices were simply outrageous. 3 items to be hemmed was almost $200. More than the items cost me to purchase them. Upset with how much it was for them to clean my jacket I have a hood that detaches so they charge me an additional amount plus they found gloves in my jacket pocket and they charge me to clean them which is great because the gloves we're only $1.99 and I wash them for $6.25. Which is 3 time the amount I paid for them. I don't see me going back. Please when I went to go pick my stuff up the next day they had told me that my stuff was not ready because one of their dryers went down. I drove all the way from Henderson to go pick up my dry clean that day. Over all just up set with the amount of money I spent along with time. Will not be going back. With so many positive reviews, I decided to ditch the Tide dry cleaners for this local place. Total mistake. This shirt used to be soft, with a velvet-like exterior that you could run your hand over and change the color from light to dark blue. Now it's... I can't think of a better word than crispy. It feels like the fabric has been totally stripped. I'm assuming it's because they marked the shirt as silk, when it absolutely is not, and treated it incorrectly. This was an expensive shirt, and I'm very, very upset, but I can't even imagine what they'd do with a wedding dress or even nicer clothes. I'd rather try my luck with hand washing than go back here. read more

If I could give one star, I would. I'm just curious why the words "all star" or "cleaners" are even in this establishment's name. First, I dropped my purse off Wednesday, May 1. I was told to come pick it up on Friday May 3, after 4. My husband went Saturday afternoon and it wasn't done. Ok....we were told to come back Tues. On Tuesday I was greeted by a very rude lady who told me it was still not done. Mmmmm k. She told me it was being cleaned by the owner and it would be done Wed. After 4. So, here we are, one entire week later, and when I arrived home and took my purse out of the bag, it looked exactly the same. THE SAME!! Please see pictures to see how my purse was "cleaned." I will tell everyone I know what a dump this place is. This is how you cleaned my purse after a week?? I can't even imagine what a regular "cleaning" looks like! In response to your reply, you were given enough time to finish it. I was told it would be done by Wednesday after 4. It was not. You were given the amount of time you requested. You did not get the job done. To say you didn't finish it bc you thought it wouldn't be good enough is ridiculous. And you said the inside looked great.. three of those pictures are from the inside of the bag! You didn't finish it bc you knew you weren't getting paid. I was told with a sarcastic and demeaning tone that, "they are not a closet, nor are they to be used as such"! I came to this place to have a dress hemmed. My mom has been a loyal customer so I went there because of her. However, when I got the ticket that states when the item would be ready for pickup, it said Monday. I go in that Monday and the teenager working the counter calls his mom( I'm assuming the owner)and she said a newly hired tailor did not mark my dress to be ready by Monday. The kid tells me to come back the following day which I did and was told it was still not ready and they apologized. Now, I come back a third time to finally get the dress and I ask for a discount since I've had to drive there three times. They charged me the full amount for my dress and said that tailor has their own set prices. I have worked in customer service for 13 years and I have yet to see anything like this. I understand that mistakes happen since we are only human but to make a customer drive to this location on 3 different accounts before getting something that was supposed to be ready days ago, and not even putting a lousy 10% discount on is absolutely absurd. If this place really thinks this is a good business model, then they're demented. It's a shame they take no accountability for their delay and did absolutely nothing to accommodate their customer. Hopefully no one will have the same experience I had because this place robbed me of my time and gas to get there. read more

Recently went to All Star Dry Cleaners to get my son's tuxedo cleaned and some sports jackets. When I dropped the items off, I talked to the staff member assisting me and was given prices for each of the items dropped. I was told the cost per sports jacket and was then told that the cost to dry clean the tuxedo would be one unit price. I wrote those prices down and reviewed everything with the staff member before I left. I returned to pick up the items today, and the total price was $35 more than anticipated! The cleaners had nickle and dime'd me for each piece of the tuxedo, which tripled the quoted price. And, the cost per sports jacket was more than quoted! When I asked how the cost could be astronomically so much more, the staff member shrugged and was indifferent to my concerns. She gave a blanket apology for being misinformed when I dropped the clothes off, but if I wanted to pick them up I had to pay the bill. I really needed the tuxedo for my son, so I felt stuck in a position where I had to pay. When I got home, I looked at the items closely to make sure it was at least decent quality. There were a few wrinkles in the sports jacket and the clothes weren't hung properly on the hangers. When you work an hourly wage, you have to be cautious with how your money is spent. I wasted a good $65 at this cleaners. Long story short: never again! read more

I went down to Goodwill to pick up a dress for my brothers wedding on Saturday. I paid 6$ total at goodwill. I went next-door to have it dry cleaned and the owner was helping me out.. very nice man it seemed and when he finished ringing me up and handed me the receipt the receipt didn't have the price on it so I verbally asked him and he said it was going to be $10. I kindly said "I'm sorry but I can't pay that much, I'll have to go somewhere else" and I then reached for my dress to have it returned. The owner laughed and looked over at the other guest and shook his head. I'm sorry if I offended you and made you think that I didn't value your time and effort. I don't think you guys at all would have not done a good job on cleaning my item. And your time and effort are are important to. I'm just in a place in my life that I can't afford to spend 10$ on my dress to be cleaned. Call it me having my feelings hurt but I found it extremely rude that two men over the age of 50 sat there and laughed at a girl (trying to be responsible with her money) that was just trying to have a clean dress for her brothers wedding. read more

A great experience. Simple drop off near the end of the day Saturday. Monday after work, everything was done. I was in and out for under $20 for a shirt and two trousers. To be honest, I'm not sure how that price compares to others in the area, but everyone I dealt with was friendly. Pickup and drop off was painless. And it seems pretty reasonable for a fast turn around. I plan my trips around my jaunts to Trader Joes so even though it's out of the way from the Aliante area. ... it really isn't.
