When we bought the house five years before we found Carl, the seller had just recently had the house painted for appearance, but they'd done no scraping or prep, and it was badly peeling shortly thereafter as a result. (It's hard to imagine that it had been properly scraped down in decades.) We needed someone willing to undertake the arduous labor of removing as much of the original peeling paint layers as possible, do the carpentry work where any rot had resulted in window and door frames, and lovingly paint that prepared canvas. We met with contractors who suggested we get vinyl siding or who were going to do minimal prep but charge us slightly less--or who would charge us a great deal, perhaps for slightly more prep, and then hand off the labor to an underpaid crew and barely be on site. What a joy to have Carl and his small, long-time group, including the assiduous, quiet Mike, with us during the process. It took nearly a month altogether, because the necessary scraping and other prep turned out to be so extensive (and some rain interrupted), but it was a pleasure to have such kind and thoughtful people working on our home and caring for it. They were meticulous, melting off the old peeling paint manually with heat, scraping where they needed to, before lovingly layering on the new primer and paint. And the result is magnificent! It's been almost a year now, and we still glory in the lovely colors we chose in consultation with Carl and miss having our delightful, insightful, kind painter around! Carl is an excellent, consistent communicator and collaborator, including around all business and financial details. There were no surprises and no strain or stress. We feel lucky to have met him and lucky to live in the beautiful results of his work and vision.

You can't find anyone better…read more Carl has painted the outside of our Colonial for years. We do one side at a time. He makes sure the wood is okay, if not they replace or fix it. The work is great, and they leave the place spotless. They just redid our front foyer. Sanded and fixed old horsehair plaster, oiled and cleaned the bannister, fixed the front door, fixed one of the pipe covers and did a great job - looks like new in a house that is over 200 years old. And Carl is a real nice guy, very easy to work with, with a great eye for color.

Every year my lawn was getting decimated by heat, grubs, etc. I was wasting time and money as the treatments I was putting on my lawn were not getting properly watered in. The amount of effort it took every year to get my lawn back was getting to be too much. So this year, I just had an irrigation system installed in my 1 acre yard by Mike Lynch Enterprises and I couldn't have been happier with the job that was done at my home. Mike and his team gave me a very competitive price, everything was documented in the quote. They even provided spec sheets for all of their top of the line products (pipe, fittings, heads, etc.). They arrived the day of the install bright and early and were literally in and out by a little after lunch time. What a GREAT group of guys !!! Mike clearly explained the process and the installation from start to finish leaving no stone unturned. There was hardly any clean up required at all when they left, you barely knew they were here. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for an irrigation system to get in touch with Mike Lynch Enterprises, he's a good local guy, honest and straight forward and his team knows exactly what they're doing. This was a great experience from start to finish, I can't wait till spring time to start watering my lawn haha.

We were on the early side which with our luck was also the day of that freak snowstorm in May. I contacted them to change delivery at the last minute, and they did with no problem. We needed more after the first delivery and called kind of in a panic, and they again were VERY accommodating. The mulch was perfect, good price, with no plastic or debris that I noticed. We had that happen with another company. After the summer hit full swing we decided to install irrigation for a new lawn. Having had such a good experience with everything else we added MLE into the quotes we were getting for irrigation. Their quote was not the most expensive by far and not the least expensive either, but it seemed like we would have better materials and more attention to detail with MLE. They came when they said they were going to, accommodated my schedule, I could not be there on the initial date. Coordinating three separate contractors to get the whole landscape done was a challenge, but I enjoyed working with Mike and Barbara to get our project done perfectly.

They introduced themselves and then they got to work. Dawson, Brandon and Travis were knowledgeable about the 'how' these windows work. I say this because the place I live the windows are 20 years old. My front door in particular has the storms on them that slide up and down. Dawson and Travis worked together tediously getting the storms in and out. They have done these types of storms before, but these being an older style they have not had experience with. The important trait here is they didn't give up. . My sills were extremely dirty. In some areas the pollen and dirt were caked on. They were very particular in making sure they cleaned it all out. My screens were taken off and hosed down. They were finished all windows and doors in less than 3 hours. I paid them and they each shook my hand saying it was a pleasure to meet me. Being older it is so nice to have individuals work in my home who are genuinely enthusiastic about their job and very polite. I've never done anything with a drop ceiling before and mine is a tricky one... a previous installer having used both 2 x 2 sizes and 2 x 4 in the same space and with a ton of oddly shaped split panels. After Tiago came and gave me a quote for a small den, my autistic son insisted that I couldn't change the ceiling in "his" room... which is what necessitated Tiago's returning to remeasure for the different-sized project a second time. He was very patient. Then, I ordered the wrong kind of ceiling planks, which couldn't be mounted in the space, given how high my eaves were up under the drop ceiling. I then direct ordered a special drop ceiling tile that was apparently oddly sized. After he suggested I order from Home Depot or Lowe's, I got one that worked on the third try. His crew even installed my new light fixture and painted my gridwork-- which I hadn't anticipated requesting upfront, but which would have looked awful without his crew's intervention. He offered to come back a fifth time to apply a second coat of paint to the grid work... But I actually like how it looks slightly metallic as is...so the choice was mine to leave it. Regardless, I'm so happy with the end result and it totally changes the feel of the space...which is what I was going for. Throughout, Tiago had great communication and I totally trusted him and his crew...which is everything when doing renovations--good vibes!
