First, a huge shout out to Cody, Marketing Sales Coordinator, a very special and compassionate young man, that treated us with respect, professionalism and especially support. Secondly, Ileen, Executive Nursing Coordinator, that assessed mom, educated us, and reassured our family and mom's decision for assisted living care. Third, Vonda, CEO, administrator, facilitated a smooth transition, was very professional and very informative. She is truly perfect for her role. Mom's room is lovely and the grounds are well maintained. She believes the food is delicious and the staff helpful, kind and competent. Thank you is not quite adequate, grateful is understated because knowing our precious mom is well cared for means the world to us.

It took a while for her to adjust to moving from her home to an apartment and I'm happy to say that she's really enjoying the amenities, activities and all the friends she's made there. The food selections are top quality and varied and delicious. The staff are very helpful, caring and kind; the majority of the staff are long timers and are very dedicated. Recently she invited us to their Primavera Dinner celebration. I'm sharing some pictures of the event. The food served at this event was excellent.

Jeremy, the Family Advisor, helped me through an incredibly difficult time and went above and beyond to guide me through the process. My mom has been at ActivCare for a year, and I can't say enough good things about the staff and facility. They take wonderful care of her and treat her with kindnes, dignity and love. It gives me such peace of mind to know she in such a caring and "compassionate" environment. I'm so grateful i found ActivCare and would highly recommend it to other families.

The caregiving staff is the most loving, patient and wonderful people I have been in contact with. My mom was at ActivCare for a short time but was loved by everyone there. They became like our second family to my mom and also our entire family. I visited my mom daily and got to know all the caregivers there. The nurses, med techs, and all the wonderful people that kept the entire place so clean were helpful and smiled all the time. My mom enjoyed the food also. I know that should I need another care facility, ActivCare will be the first place I will reach out to. Please reach out to Jeremy, who is the Family Advisor if you need any questions answered regarding care for a love one...I spoke to Jeremy about a year before my mom moved into ActivCare; that's how impressed with this facility I was that I reached out after a year. ActivCare deserves 10 STARS!!!!

What a gorgeous place to retire in! My friend's apartment is really stunning - very modern, spacious, and with high ceilings and a patio. The landscaping is beautiful; people can easily walk to the dining room or to one of the many activities they have; and if you become less mobile, they have golf carts that will pick you up. The also send meals to people's apartments if they are unable to walk. The chaplain was super cool; they have lectures and film screenings; and the food was pretty decent! The patio was lovely, and inside lots of people were dining with friends. They have a daily special and then a regular menu. We got the soup of the day first (potato leek) which was yummy, and then I had a decent mushroom swiss omelette. They didn't have Dijon mustard, but servers were very nice, and they unfold your napkins like you're in fine dining. My friend also loves the dog park, and the beautiful old trees on the property, and the views of the ocean and PB are stunning. And we saw friends of his along the way too, and he told me about some of the other very accomplished and interesting residents. Looks like a great place to retire if you can afford it! (though it is way up on a hill, so if you're driving yourself, be prepared for the way up to be winding).

My mother was on a wait list for a place but she wasn't ready to go when an opening came up and unfortunately there was not an opening now that she was ready. I called Senior Care Authority and Harp answered my call. She was an angel. She quickly gathered a list of potential care-homes for me to look at in the price range I could afford and I was able to do some phone interviews and I toured three of the houses. Harp toured the house I was most interested in with me. It was a new care-home opening up. I was able to pick the room I wanted for my mother and she was able to get a private room. There are only 6 residents so I know my mother isn't lost in a large facility. The house is beautiful and they keep it spotless. Visiting hours are very reasonable. They keep a good schedule for the residents and they have hospice available. The food they serve is very good. Harp came to the post Acute Care facility my mother was in after the hospital released her from their care. She helped me with all of my paperwork and coordinating the release date from Post Acute Care. She came to the house and checked on us the day I moved my mother in which was really sweet. This was a situation I wouldn't wish on anyone. It's scary and emotional and so stressful. Once Medicare says "no more care" you have to take your family member out of the facility or pay out of pocket. You want to do the right thing. If you can't take care of your parents for whatever reason in your own home or their home, you want to find the right situation for them and be able to afford it. There's so many horror stories out there. I can't recommend Harp at Senior Care Authority highly enough for helping me make it through the whole event and getting me through to the other side. Getting help from someone that knows what she's doing was the best decision I made. Thank you Harp!!!!!
