There is a non profit named Community Servings that sells pies every year to help people who are shut in due to medical issues. The pies are absolutely delicious and comes in many flavors. I won't be shopping here anymore…read more This morning there was a goon patrolling the parking lot, rudely telling people they weren't allowed to park there unless they were shopping at Macy's. My husband told this cretin that we shop there on a regular basis, to which the chucklehead responded, "well, you aren't shopping here right now so it doesn't matter". My husband said, "fine, I won't be shopping here anymore" and the goon said, "not my problem". Inside, the manager was just as rude, informing us that we can shop where ever we choose. FINE! I'm happy to go to Blanchards, where the employees aren't assholes. Blanchards has a better selection of craft beers; both the West Roxbury and JP locations. There's nothing nice about Macy's except their sign. I understand the desire to keep the newly paved parking lot available for Macy's customers. That request could have been conveyed in a less confrontational manner, to better end. There are better liquor stores elsewhere, with parking. Simple decision.

This is like your classic packy (package store) Anthony's has a fairly good selection of beer for a small place. Parking: they have a free parking lot w/ a good amount of spaces; usually doesn't get too packed so you should be fine with parking if you decide to grab something from here.

I'm not in there very long as i usually pickup the same certain liquor bottles, hard seltzers and the like. They have what I'm looking for in wine, cognac tequila or the cans. The look of the store inside hadn't changed too much over the years but they are easy parking, has the Liq and also sells bags of ice (found outside the store). Prices are competitive from what I usually see around, not the cheapest but competitive. Be back next event.

My experience has been very positive as a frequent visitor to Boston for many years I often return to this store because it has a very decent range of beer and wine to suit a range of budgets and tastes, plus, I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful, despite others experiences suggesting otherwise.
