Firstly - Tamara is amazing! She worked with me from the original inspection, to meeting with the insurance adjuster to monitoring the work and inspecting the final job. Her communication was thorough and timely and really helped with the process since we were out of town for some weeks between the storm and start of the replacement. The crew replaced my roof on the hottest day of the year (I felt so sorry for those guys) and did a great job, including a really thorough clean up afterward. The insurance check came through quickly and I was able to pay them today. They did the inspection for free and never asked for any upfront funds throughout the process. Having some slight (and very old) experience with roofing, it was a well done and timely job from start to finish, despite Mother Nature's best efforts to slow it down with torrential rains for the last week! His team led by Pedro came and finished the job in an hour to fix a piece of our roof that was bent by high winds. Pedro was very friendly and explained why the roofing material had fallen off and showed me the old and new screws used to attach the metal roofing. They listened to what we wanted, explained why any changes to the plan needed to be made BEFORE any work was done, and were extremely thorough. They went above and beyond to make sure our house was done right inclusive of repairs and overall look. Shaun came out multiple times to see how the project was going, and also had his project manager Jesse overseeing anything he couldn't. We really appreciated the dedication Jesse and Shaun displayed, especially making sure that their crew slowed down while replacing the front of our home that had the most damage and character. They replaced and reinforced the bones where it was needed, and took the time to preserve the character of the unique look that the face of our house has. We also loved that there was one crew for siding and a different crew for painting instead of a one stop shop as these are different crafts. I mean, I'd expect this level of…read moreservice from a company putting up a $50,000 roof that deals primarily in River Oaks (well, I'm sure these guys do that, too, but I just felt extra special here in Bellaire). The good stuff. 1) they had a quote to me in less than two days. No personal contact needed. 2) the quote was the same or lower as I had gotten from other companies. The upgrade was only $500 more. 3) they suggested three options which reduced my buyers anxiety 4) they gave discounts 5) when I finally returned my contract, they called the next day and scheduled for two days later 6) they came on Friday and left on Friday. And done. I got lucky but WOW, my neighbors love me. My yard was immaculate. In fact, I think it looked better...but seriously, one day!! (They did estimate 1-1/2 days but Jonathon miraculously got extra guys in, so don't get too excited for 1 day like my neighbors and me!) 7) I paid my bill timely and got GORGEOUS red roses that made my boyfriend jealous. I like to feel like I'm special, so - to even the playing field - Rose Roofing is hereby obligated to send roses. I'm certainly excited that I'll be using them again soon. We'll I had 2 antennas and I thought they were asking me about some piece left behind on the old antenna, so I said yes you can as part of it was already taken down. So I come home later and my satellite Dish is gone..no TV service. I call Rose Roofing and ask why they took it down and they said because you said so. So was a miscommunication BUT they said it was my fault that they did nothing wrong. So I have to call DISH to come out and install another one and I have to PAY for it and wait a couple days before they can come. I'm upset because it was a miscommunication and they would not own up to 50% of it. I don't need them to pay for a new antenna, I just wanted them to acknowledge it was partially their fault. I really don't want to invite a company with no integrity back to do any roofing work on my home.
