Anna the owner of this establishment refused to allow me a bi weekly returning customer whom has referred several customers to make an appointment! I told Anna then I would inform all of my friends and she said "OK" so I felt like she would be ok with you all knowing as well!!! Today I went into ATL nails for a pedicure and after drying I asked Anna to make an appointment in two weeks. She refused telling me to call because she knows people and that if I didn't keep the appointment she would charge me. I need to make certain it's known I've never made an appointment at all in advance every time I've tried she's said the same words to me "call the day before" while watching her take appointments from other customers. I am not swayed by color but I need to make mention the individuals she takes appointments from are white, I and the maturity of my referring customers are Black Women. When I was leaving out she said good bye as she always does and I took the opportunity to tell her how I felt. I expressed I was offended by the way she spoke to me and while I was talking she cut me off saying "I know people" what does that mean? She went on to say when I pointed out I've seen you take appointments for other customers she responded "those are my long time customers" I asked how do you become a long time customer and as I was trying to respond after listening to her attempt at justifying lumping me with other people she cut me off I asked are you going to let me speak she turned her back and said I'm in the middle of my lunch. read more

Dirty, unprofessional, make up prices on the spot that differ from there price board. They get super jealous if they see you got your nails done somewhere else. One time I came for a soak off and the owner clipped my acrylic off so jagged. Completely messed up my nail growth. read more

Absolutely LOVE A.T. Nails. I've been coming here to have my nails done for over 10 years. Anna, Tony and their staff are all great, friendly and accommodating. The space is clean and has evolved over the years. Their hours are flexible and their prices are great. Whenever I call they're able to fit me in for an appointment; and you're not there all day! You are in and out but you don't feel rushed. They really take their time and ask for your feedback to make sure that they're giving you the the results you want. read more

I do not recommend this shop AT Nails located at 419 Park Ave in Scotch Plains, NJ...AT ALL! They are completely racist and give life to the term "white privilege" showing me that in more than one trip. Let me begin by saying I am Caucasian so I know it when I see it. The young lady I was with was African American, I watched as technician started her nails, stopped to take a call, proceeded to place an order for supplies, (for more then 6 minutes-I clocked it after 2) then start again and then when a Caucasian women came in from the back door she again left the young lady I was with to begin showing the Caucasian her options for Gel. It wasn't until I was about to loose my cool but instead I politely but firmly got up, walked to where she was with the other person by the pedicure area and said, 'excuse me, your appointment is over here waiting for you and we have other places to be." She never even apologized, she just turned to the other woman and said sorry. I didn't want to make any more of a scene because it was in fact my Goddaughter who was getting her nails done for prom. After that she said nothing and it was all business. However, much time was wasted as she clearly didn't have any respect for the customer already in her chair who is a frequent paying customer and it was her mom who had referred me there for my own pedicure. Then today I again here of how this same woman I believe her name is Anna or Ann, disrespectfully treated the mother of my Goddaughter who also is a frequent paying customer and continuously was bragging about the shop. The truth is the pedicure was the, the tech was, quiet yet friendly but very attentive. Unlike the female nail tech. It's the same woman over and over creating the issue. There is only one other tech there and he's a man so there's no mistaking whom I'm speaking of. It's a real shame because the woman who does the pedicures is great but unfortunately due to the blatant prejudice shown in this salon by the one "running the show" we (5 of us total) will not be returning. **Side note if you're white and have no issue with racism or watching anyone of color get treated less than, this is definitely the place to go! read more

There isn't enough stars to give AT nails in scotch plains. First of all - Tony and Ana the owners are 2 of the sweetest people! They are such hard workers and it completely shows. I searched nail salons for years and once I found this gem of a place- my search was over! They truly go above and beyond and every experience I have had there has been better than before. service wasn't great when i walked in -- the fish is super scary. the actual time getting my nails was painful. she wasn't gentle at all with the file and it left my nails feeling raw even after i told her to be a bit more gentle. i showed her a simple design for my nails but she completely changed the shape color and length. left the salon with glue all over my hands and poorly filed nails. read more

Anna and Tony are wonderful! Anna always fits me in, even though I tend to call last minute. A & T has been my nail salon for more than 10 years. I even take my mother here for a monthly mani/pedi, and she just loves it! Mom is treated very gently and respectfully. Any special design I ask for always come out great. Fantastic manis and pedis. They really take their time. The mom there is wonderful for eyebrow waxing too. Fast, too.

My sister and I got our nails done here for my wedding. They were very nice, professional, and friendly. She helped me pick the perfect color for my nails after I showed her a couple of Pinterest inspiration pictures. There's free municipal parking right across the street, and an appointment is recommended but not required. read more

I have had good pedicures there before, but the last one wasn't great. She didn't use clippers to cut down my nails, I have no idea what tool was used, it looked like an actual tool from a tool box. Also, the polish missed my toenails and got all over my toes. What do you expect for $16 I suppose? read more
