I wanted to update my review because I couldn't be happier. Unfortunately, one of my diamonds fell out on my ring and I brought it back to Brian and he replaced it on his own dime. He also refurbished the main setting prongs so that it doesn't happen again. After, he fixed it, my husband and I decided to get it appraised and my ring is definitely worth what we paid for it! I will still continue to recommend this store to anyone who is wanting to find something special and isn't main stream. There will always be a risk when buying from a store that doesn't offer guarantees. But the customer service that Brian has offered us time and time again has meant so much to us! BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!!! Do not do business with this greasy scam artist. Most of his stuff is just replicas, if not all. His name is just as fake as his jewelry too! He also lies about being hooked up with the BBB. He should know we can check that. I did, he's not.... Unless it's under his real name and not his fake name "Brian Smith", he isn't registered with them whatsoever. We bought an engagement ring and he said he'd have it sized and deliver it personally that same week because he was going grocery shopping in Denver, closer to us. My husband had been mugged and almost died. We also miscarried a baby and I'm going thru a breast cancer scare now with heart issues. This meant so much to us. We couldn't afford it when we got married, due to medical bills. This was supposed to be a new start for us to celebrate. We were so excited. He said he'd email cuz he doesn't have a phone....?? His shops does..... Use your shop phone idiot! It's called customer service! We ran into him again the next day, we were about to head home. He was acting strange and not too happy to say hi. We were like little kids on Christmas. We asked about the ring and he said he was heating up whatever he needed to get it done right then. And again he said he would email. But we waited and waited....... And waited and waited for that email. He never even mailed to say it was delayed. Unprofessional and unethical. He sure took the money out of our account that week though. We had to cancel our mini wedding because of this. We had no ring. He RUINED one of the happiest days of our lives. After the year we had had especially. We really needed this. He became extremely hard to get a hold of after we got home and noticed we weren't getting that email from him. My hubby finally got him and he said he would email that night to give the details of delivery. Stayed up late watching for it......... AGAIN NO EMAIL CAME! We talked to my dad who's an attorney and he wanted to look at the receipt. I'd put it in my wallet right when the scammer gave it to me. I'd say Brian Smith instead of just scammer, but that's his FAKE NAME. I pulled out the receipt that he had so kindly had written out and folded, then handed to me. I unfolded it to discover exactly why he had folded it for me. He wrote NO PURCHASE INFO ON IT!!!! He even admitted to doing this on purpose to my husband!!!!! Greasy! We tried calling and he wouldn't answer. So we power called him. Finally an answer and magically it was supposedly done. .....then why no email you unprofessional greasy dirtbag pos? He ruined so much at this point I'm disgusted and heartbroken. I don't even want the ring. If I get it, I'm taking it to be appraised at my parents jeweler and then selling the stupid thing. Unless it's one of his knock offs he lies about, then it'll be small claims. It now has this awful stigma thanks to this idiot. Everyone wants a great story with their engagement ring. Don't waste your time with this guy. The owner, Brain Smith is all talks, but is really a scam con. He will be nice and help you out just to get you to buy something from his store. He conned me into buying a ring and said he would call the next day so I can come and pick it up. He NEVER called and a week passed. I called his store multiple time and could NOT get a hold of ANYONE. I e-mail him too and when that didn't work, I went in and he said that my ring was not ready. I would have to wait several more weeks and he promised he would call me. It's been a month and still no call. This guy just keeps giving me bullshit answer and empty promises. He just wanted my money and never delivered the ring I brought! DON'T BUY from him! Also the ring I brought was suppose to be Helenite ring for $180, but after a few internet research you can find the same stone anywhere for no more than $15. The owner said all his stuff is one of a kind and original, yet when we found a duplicate in his case he had a story about it that was believable. Instead of buying an estate "one of a kind" vintage diamond ring that day I bought a simple "men's stainless steel bracelet", unfortunately at airport security it was accidentally dropped and it shattered showing a die cast metal interior with a metallic exterior.
