Ruth is a terrific dog walker. My Butter just loves her and comes home super tuckered out. I have also boarded Butter with Ruth and he had such a great time. My pup runs out the door and down the stairs when he sees Ruth pull up. Highly recommend!

Ruth is an amazing dog walker and boarder. Truly can't say enough good things. She's been walking my large 7 y/o pup Paxi for a few months now and he's also boarded at Ruth's a few times, most recently for about 17 days. My dog Paxi has epilepsy and takes medication everyday and it hasn't been easy to find someone I can fully trust with him until I met Ruth. She sent me photo updates while I was out of town, and when I came back I swear Paxi moped around the house for a few days because he missed being at Ruth's! Overall a great communicator, extremely trust worthy, and a very attentive and caring dog walker and boarder. I highly recommend her!!

Ruth has been a lifesaver and a fantastic find! We highly recommend her services. It's clear she genuinely enjoys what she does, and our dog, Henry, loves her for it. She's friendly, trustworthy, flexible, and has helped us out in some last-minute jams. Ruth has been walking our 1.5 year old golden retriever for a few months now. Henry had never had daycare before and we were nervous about how he'd handle being in a pack of six dogs. Ruth assuaged our fears and helped us figure out how much care our pup needed. She also had a whole plan for the first few weeks of dog walking - slowly introducing each dog, determining how they interacted with others, and assessing their "recall" skills. Henry had no problem falling into this new routine and we got great feedback from Ruth about his behavior and of course, plenty of beach photos. Henry is always excited to see Ruth and can't wait to get to Fort Funston.

I have two high energy pit mixes whose leash reactivity had gotten worse in the past half year, and it had reached a point where it was unmanageable because they would start barking and lunging at other dogs even from a healthy distance. I met with a few trainers to get a sense of their methods and styles, and Ceslie felt like the best match because of how she took the extra time to know my dogs and understand their behavior before recommending a plan, compared to others who jumped into training without asking many questions. There was a noticeable difference in how my dogs responded to Ceslie after their first class. She was thoughtful in customizing a plan that fit their needs, from teaching proper corrections to reinforcing obedience to providing the right equipment. She also taught me how to be a better handler (something often overlooked in training!), and it's truly strengthened my relationship with my pups. We had weekly sessions over the course of a month and there has been significant improvement in my dogs' behavior. Walks are stress-free and enjoyable again because we're able to bypass other dogs without issues, their door etiquette has improved, and we're now slowly working on their separation anxiety (slow and steady process but we're making progress!). Ceslie has been incredibly supportive and responsive through it all and I'm very grateful for her guidance with what I thought was a hopeless situation. I'm now considering sending the pups to her daycare program!

Doug, Justin and the entire staff show a level of respect and care for dogs and their human clients that is extraordinary. I moved to San Francisco two years ago with two large dogs, one of which has struggled with people reactivity and tried several services before finding FUReverFUN. As someone who travels for work frequently and has a demanding schedule they work exceptionally hard to accommodate and provide pet services that far exceeded my expectations. One of my favorite things has been how the team will share photos and updates when my dogs are with them that speak not only to the fun they're having, but also reflect their specific personalities. It is clear that everyone here loves and cares for their clients both human and canine on an individual level. My dogs have thrived under their care and are always excited to stop by to see their friends at their second home. I cannot overstate how highly I recommend FUReverFun. There is no other service or organization that I would trust more to care for my pets.
