New owners scammed us. Most of these reviews are not of the business that's there now. I would be very careful dealing with this shop's new ownership. I believe the switch was 5 or 6 months ago. We brought our truck in because it needed frame repair to pass inspection. We were told they would look at it and have an estimate for us the next day. A week went by and we heard nothing. We finally called them, and it honestly seemed like they had forgotten our truck was even there. Then we were told we should probably just scrap it because "it's going to be expensive." We asked a simple question: How expensive? We wanted an actual estimate so we could decide what to do. We were told the mechanic had left and that he would get back to us. The next day the mechanic called and said the entire frame was bad and they couldn't fix it. Fine. We went to pick up the truck, only to be told we owed $134 for the estimate. Except there was no estimate. We never received a written estimate, a price, or anything telling us what the repair would cost. We were basically told to scrap the truck, and then charged $134 for an estimate that was never given to us. If there's a $134 inspection/diagnostic fee, tell the customer that upfront. If you say you can provide an estimate, provide an effin estimate. Instead we had to wait over a week for nothing. No estimate, no rejection sticker, nothing. AND pay them for their incompetence. I have been having my cars worked on by Alex and his team for 3 years. This is the first time that I have taken the time to write a review. I have owned and collected cars for over 40 years. By far... this has been the best experience that I have ever had with car service. I normally service my cars from the company in which I purchase them. My Cadillac had been serviced at Cadillac. My Toyota at Toyota. I was referred to A-Z and from day one... I have never went back to Toyota or Cadillac!! Excellent service, reasonably priced and the most important.. the man has integrity and will not rip you off!! That means more to me than anything. He is honest and does great work. Alex and his team are great. Whenever they've worked on my vehicle, they've made honest recommendations about other issues that should be addressed "while we're in there". This is a good thing, in my opinion, as it will save headache and money in the long run. I've had my car towed in to his shop twice (alternator once and blown oil pan gasket the other), both times on the weekend, and come Monday he was able to fit me in to their busy schedule and have a diagnosis for the issue and the repairs made in a timely manner. I went through a lot of repair shops before I found A-Z Auto Repair. I tried them with a small repair and was happily surprised that the bill was about half of my previous mechanics fee. I have since used A-Z Auto Repair many times for every kind of repair from battery and tire replacements to replacing body parts (bumpers,doors). From many small repairs to two different complete transmission replacements. A-Z Auto Repair makes me feel like their #1 customer. I am always happy with the quick turnaround on repair work. Have an older car, a 2000 Buick LeSabre. Air conditioning was not working on one side of dash; it had been worked on twice before by other folks but not fixed. Took it in to these guys and they were able to identify the problems with the A/C and correct them quickly and economically. Was really happy with the way Alex communicated with me; kept me informed during the diagnostics and the repair. Totally satisfied. We moved to Winchester recently and will come back here for all future work. It's hard to find a good garage that does quality affordable work...this one is a keeper! read more

I was extremely pleased with the replacement of my water pump last winter, that they were the first shop I called when the AC compressor went out recently.
