It looked like they were expanding their store to accommodate more space for their products. People were already filing in to play games and it looked like they had a community of regular players filing in. As usual, I was just curious about their WarHammer collection and it was a decent amount. I liked their table set up for Warhammer ready with tape measures and landscape. They had Pokemon and MTG commander packs and boosters available as well, my only complaint is that there was no price tag on their boxes and when we asked them how much the commander box was, they were looking up prices on their phone for a few minutes before we got a response. It made me think that they were going above msrp and just seemed shady. Just make sure as a customer you have an idea of what you're willing to pay for product. When I arrived, I was informed that the staff had manually removed me from the event without providing any prior notice. The staff member stated that he was in charge of the gaming events and had the discretion to remove registered participants who were not considered frequent or regular players. While I understand that the store may have its own policies regarding event participation, removing someone who successfully registered without any advance communication is disappointing and unprofessional. If a successful registration through the Bandai registration system does not actually guarantee a spot and participation is ultimately at the store's discretion, that should be clearly disclosed on the registration page or event details. Customers should know this before registering and making plans to attend. At a minimum, if the store decides to remove a registered participant, a courtesy call, text, or email should be provided so customers do not unnecessarily rearrange their schedules or make a wasted trip to the store. People have jobs, families, and other responsibilities and have to coordinate their schedules to attend these events. Not everyone has the ability to attend every local event or regularly visit the store. The lack of communication and consideration for customers' time was extremely frustrating. Based on this experience, I would be hesitant to register for another event here.

My favorite Game store in Sacramento…read more It contains a large catalog of card, board, strategy and miniature games that will appeal to a casual laymen, a beginner, or the serious die hard enthusiast. There are 2 parts to this large store, the showroom area with all the games, miniatures for your perusing and purchasing pleasure. The 2d part is large game room that is stocked with games you can test out, or just come in with your friends, or meet new friends and try them out. They publish a monthly schedule of tournaments, contests, or just open game playing. On this occaision, I came to one of the Semi Annual flea market bazaars, where anyone could sign up, for a small fee , get a space to sell their older games , or maybe crafts. There is No fee to be a shopper st the bazaar, so you can find some good deals on games, miniatures, cards, books, terrain, storage or dice. I scored a Zombicide game that was unpunched at a great price for my son & I to play. All in all, just a great store for any game enthusiast of every age from beginners to the hard core gamer.

Hello, I would like to share my experience with TAP PLASTICS…read more in Sacramento California. On 09/17/2026 while cleaning my refrigerator, i dropped a lower glass shelf that broke into a million pieces. I called TAP and inquired about having a piece of plastic cut to fit. I was given an VERY FAIR PRICE and then to top it off,I i was told it could happen while I wait. (Envisioning Jesus smiling down on me) So I cleaned up the broke glass, grabbed the plastic surrounding that houses the shelf and shuffled on over to TAP PLASTICS. Upon arrival I was greeted by employee in "training" or so it said on his name tag *PAUL* I would not have know otherwise as he conducted himself like a veteran employee. Paul noticed when I walked in, wearing a surgery recovery boot, quickly brought over a chair for me to to sit in next to the counter (incredibly thoughtful) I introduced myself, that I had called ahead and that I also needed a piece of plastic for an overhead kitchen light. (Had been broke for awhile but since I was going to TAP, now is the time to replace it :)) Paul double checked the measurements I had calculated. Took my 2 piece order, thoroughly and thoughtful explained the process. Paul also said " we will make sure it fits before you leave!" (this guy was reading my mind) Paul took my payment and what seemed like only a few minutes later another gentleman brought me my new items. We fit the new shattered proof piece and it went in like butter. Perfect fit, (I heard angels singing) my days seldom go this smoothly. Just like that, I was off and going. TAP PLASTICS is your go to place for all things plastic. They have a nice store front / showroom with lots of nifty items and supplies to complete your tasks. The second time we dealt with his wife (Corey was not there) and she was friendly which was just fine. Now the third time we went we were looking for some destined rivals packs and/or booster boxes. We had picked out one booster bundle for me and one for my boyfriend and then realized he was selling a whole box set which we asked if we could get just the box set instead (this is all before purchase). He must of either jumped to conclusion or didn't understand what we were asking. He loudly scolded us for buying too much (which is insane as a business owner) and started to humiliate us with demeaning comments. He was saying that he had people he needed to sell to and would not let us buy anything else. Mind you the store is almost a 4x4 shoe box so everyone could hear a pin drop. I'm not sure why you have product on the shelf and were showing it to us if you didn't want us buying anything. Safe to say I went from an excited newbie mtg and Pokemon fan to being very uncomfortable in most shops I go to now. I do not know if Corey owns this shop purely to hang out with the only regulars he deems worthy or because he likes public humiliation towards customers but there is no way with the amount of attitude and disrespect he holds towards all customers that this business will last long. Save your hard earned money and look at reviews before checking a shop out.
