It was decorated like a 1950s diner, resplendent with a self-serve coffee bar, filtered water fountain for hot and cold water and plenty of refreshments. The room was air-conditioned with a cute little table in the middle and plenty of seating despite the small space. It's perfect if you're planning to stay and wait. It was early in the day, so I took a walk around since it's in the heart of Old Town, near all sorts of wonderful little businesses. As such, they gave me a call upon service completion.

I did the right thing and came here the next day and they were able to help me out right away. Here's a difference; when you go to a smog shop, you can ask them to run a quick check using a very simple computer to see if the emissions are ready for testing. It doesn't cost them anything. That's what these guys did after I explained, that the truck had been sitting for a while, and they very quickly told me it wasn't ready for emissions to drive it a few more miles and then come back and it would give me a coupon. The Cummins diesel oil filter can be tricky, you can only access the filter through the passenger-side fender well. On these trucks, you really have to know what you're doing, right front tire has to be removed to properly access the fender-well opening and extract the oil filter. They handled the entire diesel oil change perfectly. Not a single drop of oil was left on my vehicle, and they also completed the safety checks, including my brakes and other important service items. I take all my vehicles here for automotive repair and maintenance. They are much more than just an oil change shop. They handle brakes, wiper blades, serpentine belts, light bulbs, transmission fluid service, radiator coolant service, spark plugs, tire rotations, rear gear differential fluid, general auto repair, preventive maintenance, and full-service vehicle care. They are an outstanding group of people--friendly, courteous, and straightforward in their communication. I've worked with Manuel, Raul, and the owner, Ron, and every interaction has been positive. Whether it's basic services like oil changes or more advanced work such as engine or transmission repairs, they consistently deliver high-quality service. What truly sets them apart, however, is their honesty and integrity. On several occasions, they have gone above and beyond in ways that many shops simply wouldn't. For example, I recently brought in my Ford Expedition because it wouldn't start. Initially, the issue was misdiagnosed, and an expensive engine procedure was performed. Once they realized the mistake, they immediately informed me and did not charge me for the unnecessary work. My bill dropped from nearly $1,000 to about $264.
