Terrible. Would definitely NEVER recommend. I had A1 Tub Reglazer reglaze a tub for a tenant for the first time. The tub, chipped, bubbled and the reglazed peeled back like it was wrapping paper. I get that things can chip, but peel back easily without adhering to the tub!! That's poor workmanship. I called them and he blamed the tenant for dropping things in the shower. Which the tenant said they dropped nothing heavy or sharp. Even if it did chip, it shouldn't peep off in the video and pictures like lose wrapping paper. This review is long overdue. I needed a shower and tub reglazing for one of the properties I own. A1 Tub Reglazer did a job that lasted only six months. The glaze started peeling off after three months. The company's owner (Alex) couldn't come, even though the appointment was made in advance, so he sent his assistant. Maybe because of poor preparation work or cheap materials used, the work turned out horrible. read more

People please don't use A1 tub they have horrible work. I used them to reglase my tub and it started chipping and pealing after 1 year. I called the owner Alex to see if he can fix it. He blamed the renters that they probably dropped something, but thats not what happened. He wanted to charge more than what he did the first time. I was not expecting it for free. Poor workmanship. I adhered to all feedback for products to use upon cleaning etc. My tub was reglazed (tenant) and months later chipping of the glaze started to form. I was blamed for it. The tub has been a nightmare (the glaze or wrapping paper started to lift and peel back). I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANIES SERVICES. Unexceptable!! Somehow my original review was removed. He quoted $199 if the tub has not been reglazed. When we arrived he gave me a song and dance that it wasn't in this area and he was going to use a special substance better than porcelain 15 year warranty. You spent most of the day talking on the phone to people when he finished he said don't open the door for three days and put yellow tape on it. Pulled the paint off every wall and the roof of the bathroom I posted those pictures here. Called me on the phone he wasn't responsible for any damages he caused. The pictures you see our customers who have just had their porcelain spray painted with some Home Depot high quality paint and no primer. I've called this man several times I texted him to show him the deterioration in the work and he says I only guarantee the color not my workmanship not the material I will be taking him to court he knows this please look at how his work is six months after he leaves your house. read more

IMPRESSED. Alex and his team worked wonders on our bathtub. Last year, our tub started peeling everywhere. I looked up a few reglazers and saved them for the future because we weren't ready to pull the trigger. I randomly got an ad a few weeks back on Instagram and decided it was time to find someone to reglaze our tub. Keep in mind, that the ad I saw was for A-1 Reglazing, a different company, which had poor reviews. Thankfully, the algorithm recommended some similar businesses on Google, and therefore, I found Alex. I immediately texted and he got right back to me with a date for the next week. I booked and am so thankful that we did. The whole process took about 4 hours. They were cleanly and got rid of all of the junk. They properly taped and covered everything around so there was no spillage or mess. Keep in mind that you can't use the tub for 48 hours after it's reglazed. Okay so are you ready or what first I would like to say I recommend this business to everyone the service is fast & very professional & the job was beyond AMAZING but myself on the other hand so I made an appointment with Alex I believe that's his name & he got there on time but my mom had a leak in her tub i didn't tell him about so he had to get someone to fix the leak & he did at a great price. He ended up rescheduling my Appt. I thought he could fix the leak and reglaze the tub all at once but he couldn't & he said I wish you would've told me before I came. I said well I didn't want you to not fix the tub, he said no I just need someone to fix the leak and change the knobs on the Tub before I fix it. Anyways he was so easy going I even tried to tip him for coming out but he wouldn't accept the money. He said don't worry I'll just reschedule (the leak was kinda bad and the knobs were old and the tub was a MESS) He got that leak fixed for me right away and also rescheduled my reglazing appt, and when he was done the tub had NO LEAK, brand NEW KNOBS, and the Tub looked so AMAZING. It didn't even take the worker long I tipped the worker because I just felt like they Go over and Beyond. The Customer Service was outstanding. Their work set up showed an A1 safety attitude. The workers protected themselves with heavy duty breathing filters and ear protection, rather than merely cheap paper masks. They set up a powerful ventilation fan with a long 12-inch-diameter flexible duct to exhaust fumes directly to the outside; it kept the dust that was generated out of the apartment. Before they began spraying, they masked plumbing fixtures, filled cracks and sanded off prior coats of paint and caulking. The result was a very professional looking job. read more

I called for a quote for my bathtub a few months ago and explained that I was not sure if I wanted to go through with the service and I was just asking around for quotes and their prices stood out to me. Only $350 for a tub reglazing with a 4 year warranty!! What a deal! The company I previously went through was $250 with a two year warranty and i went to them twice and noticed chipping within a few months. The other companies I called were asking for $600 and they were out of their mind! I ended up scheduling an appointment with A1 and do not regret my decision. Unfortunately he wasn't able to make it the day we scheduled for but he made sure to communicate the issue with me, which I completely understood, and said he would give me a 10% discount for the inconvenience and sent one of his workers over the next day to do the job.
