Six months later, they increased the rent on the 10x10 space from $113 to $149 per month (almost 32%). I called and asked why such a severe increase. The woman was very polite and said she would file to put in for an adjustment based on my feedback. I got the reply a day or two later. They had generously discounted my rate from $149 to $148/month. Yes, 1 dollar. More insulting than a simple "No". But then 5 months later, they send me a notice that my rent is increasing to $200/month. That's right, folks, a 77% increase in 12 months. I happened to bump into the guy in the adjacent stall and asked what he pays. $131/month. I asked did you just move in? No, I have been here for years. I checked their website and they are renting the same size for $127/month on an Internet special. So, I call in and they tell me "No, you cannot have that rate unless you move out for a week". I say, well then I'll just have my wife rent a unit. She replied "No, that won't work, it applies to your whole family". No, I'm not making any of this up. Now if I read this, I'd think the guy was a pain in the neck and they just want him out. Nope. I rarely went there and haven't interacted with any staff on premise in at least 18 months. My payments post to my credit card on autopay so never been late. I'm at a loss. I guess they are more profitable by churning renters than keeping people who just stay and pay year in and year out. My advice: Avoid these guys like the plague! I really still feel it's surreal and just unbelievable.

Still not fixed. Apparently management hasn't decided if and how to fix it. We have been trying to move out of the unit for over two months. Manager keeps blaming management. They keep charging rent. They offered to discount the rent for a month. But that doesn't solve my problem. I can't carry heavy loads down a flight of stairs. Would not have rented the unit if i had to do so. Wish Vinnie were still there, but he probably saw the writing on the wall. Not sure what's wrong with management but if you offer a service for money, then you should provide the service. Don't make your customers suffer. Hopefully lousy reviews will get someone's attention.

She listened to me remind her of the three month old service elevator issue, told me that a one month credit was all that the company was willing to offer. When I informed her that I would be cancelling this month's credit card payment, she threatened me with collection. When I informed her not to do that or face a consumer lawsuit, she hung up on me. DO NOT RENT STORAGE from this facility. Whatever is wrong with them, they are not going to fix it by threatening their own customers and treating them like they are the important part of the equation. If ANYONE who works at the corporate office is interested in understanding the problem, look me up and reach out. You will be embarassed by the people supporting your brand, and you should do something about immediately.

I arrived at EZ storage and Gregory (manager) was able to provide me a unit. These units are all indoors and climate controlled. You need a special code to get through the gate/garage and your unit is inside. It's a drive-thru unit and so you drive your car in and then unload and take the elevator up. They provide carts for easy transport. Before I committed to the unit, Gregory brought me through the building and showed me the size of the unit and talked to me about the cost per month. Right now they are running a special so I was able to get 3 months for half price. I assume they have specials often so be sure you check. Gregory told me he lives on site with his dog so if there is ever anything going on he'll know about it. There are also multiple cameras around the property and inside the building. I'm really glad this storage facility exists. It's exactly what I was looking for!

My initial call with questions reinforced that they were professional, friendly and took pride in their place. Move-in was easy and having access to their moving truck ( at a reasonable price!), made it all work - and we had coordinated everything from NY just a short time prior to arrival. They have lots of carts to use, easy drive in access to drop off stuff and cart it up to your unit, and clean, auto-lit corridors and storage units. We kept the unit over 2 years and there were a few times we were late on payments and they didn't treat you like a deadbeat - they just reminded you and we paid right away. I cannot think of one negative thing, and I am a pretty harsh grader - I don't just give away 5 stars to everyone.
