    Davids Plumbing - Installed

DJ saved the day - and my garden!…read more I don't often recommend contractors publicly, but David's Plumbing absolutely earned it. I recently had my water service line replaced from the meter to my house. During the project, David discovered that the boring contractor hadn't installed the new line deep enough to meet code. It would have been easy to work around it, trench through my landscaping, or simply let it go--but instead, he advocated for me. He stood his ground, insisted the boring company come back and do the job correctly, and ultimately saved me from ending up with a substandard installation. That decision cost him an entire day's work while everyone waited for the boring company to return, but he still put doing the job right ahead of simply getting paid and moving on. To top it off, when the project was finished, his final invoice came in below the high end of the estimate he had originally given me. In a world where it's common to brace yourself for surprise costs, that was a refreshing experience. If you're looking for a plumber who is knowledgeable, honest, and willing to advocate for his customers instead of taking the easy way out, I can wholeheartedly recommend David's Plumbing. Integrity like that deserves to be recognized.

Airco sent a "project manager" (Steiger Hart) to the residence to "inspect" the area where the water heater was going to be placed. The project manager informed the resident that the area was not up to code (LIES) and recommended purchasing several things to bring it up to code (emergency shutoff valve, hammer arrestors, expansion tank, safety drain pan, new combustion- pvc piping, and a gas drip leg). When I asked for an itemized price list, I was told their system packages everything together and he couldn't provide an itemized bill. The only service that receives an itemized bill is HVAC. RED FLAG!! The home was built in 2016 and according to the plumber we actually hired, EVERYTHING IS WITHIN CODE. Airco wanted to charge $1744 for install and code upgrades. Then proceeded to try to convince the resident to purchase a hot water heater from Airco because theirs are manufactured better . We paid a local plumber (small family owned business) $250 to install the hot water heater and replace the hoses. This company lacks integrity, clearly overcharges, and tries to upsell the customer. DO NOT USE THEM!!! Before you respond lying saying you couldn't find an account using my name listed in the review, I have emails for your "project manager" and Lowe's.

Never pay until the job is finished!…read more These guys took my money and ran. They removed my floor and busted up the concrete in order to replace a collapsed drain pipe with PVC and on a Thursday. They came back Monday to finish the job and placed the vanity on top of the new concrete without putting the flooring down underneath it first! They connected all the new plumbing to the sink, caulked the vanity to the wall and left it on top of the concrete with the no flooring underneath. I caught him as he was leaving and asked him if he had forgotten the floor, and the response was "we don't do floors". Also the vanity was not properly caulked or sealed to the cabinet or the wall and the new pipes were leaking! I had to take all the plumbing out that he just installed, pull the vanity back out, and put the floor back myself, and then put the vanity back and connect all the plumbing again and finish the job myself. I worked 8 hours until 1:00 a.m. to complete a job that I paid $3,000 for. I spent 8 hours completing the job I paid for at a time when I was already working around the clock to get my place ready to sell. They are not responding to my calls or texts. This is unacceptable. I would not recommend OKC plumbing experts. I am requesting a partial refund.
