With the advancements in technology, the dental assistants Quynh & Renzo were able to take my full set of x-rays and panoramic x-ray efficiently and comfortably which I was not used to. Dr. Pham drew up a plan for me and Dr. Jan referred me to a specialist I need to see next, but best believe I will be coming back for everything to follow. She also failed to give me a receipt for my payment and refused to provide an itemized breakdown of the treatment and costs when I requested one. When I contacted my insurance company directly to verify my responsibility, I was informed that my out-of-pocket cost was only $750--not the $1,100 I was being asked to pay. After I questioned the discrepancy, the conversation changed significantly. To this day, I still have not received a satisfactory explanation for the difference in the amount requested. I was also frustrated that my post-dated checks were withheld instead of being returned promptly after the billing issue was identified. Overall, I found the office to be disorganized, lacking in transparency, and poor in communication. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office to others. Recieved a call shortly after and was asked to change 945am. Cool, no problem. Get there a few mins early and fill out new patient forms and waited over 20mins. Turns out 1010 the X-ray tech walks in with her sbux drink and then I'm finally let in. Not sure if this was her first or very few X-rays but she was not very coordinated. Took over 6 attempts and with the help with the lady at the front desk and multiple repeats of which tooth to take X-ray images of my tooth. Front desk lady then randomly started tapping my teeth with a stick, not sure why so I asked her what are you doing? She said she wanted to be sure she has the right tooth. Had she asked me first before tapping, I would've told her I had a root canal done on the suspected tooth I need an implant, so I'm not going to feel any tapping. Very frustrating. Dr came in. Very nice guy but his advertisement is a bit deceptive. It says Dental implants on his webpage. That's the whole reason I came there. When i initially brought up him doing the implant, he redirected the the conversation. After the second time he tells me he doesn't actually do the procedure but farms it out to "his group of people" basically someone else. All in all, it was a complete waste of time. He got paid for the X-rays and consultation and my gut was telling me to walk out that door and I should've listened to it. Fine place for general dental stuff. Fillings, cleaning etc but anything else not confident.

We were original patients to this dental office over 20 years ago when opened by Dr. Phan. We…read moreloved his compassionate care and were saddened to have him retire. We decided to continue our care hoping the compassionate care would continue. I had a cracked crown replaced in December 2025. From the beginning it did not feel right but was willing to allow time for healing. I returned a total of 4 visits from Jan to end of May letting the dentist know that the bite does not feel right. Each time they shaved down a little more to fix the bite but it never felt right even after they introduced wearing a bite guard. Each time they assured it just needed more time to heal and they were trying to avoid a root canal. So I learned to live with chronic dull ache in my jaw convinced by the dentists that because the pain was improved that I didn't need anything more. Then I had to call again because the symptoms were worsening now constantly aching and swollen bleeding gums. I couldn't get through to the office so I left notice with the messaging center. Never received a phone call back only a text message stating that they were open and tending to other patients but I could text them. So I replied letting them know my condition had worsened to only receive a text back reminding me that I had an appointment in a couple of weeks. I gave up and went to another dentist office to receive emergent care. A quick X-ray showed an infection to the root of my tooth and a cracked tooth that was beyond repair...so my tooth had to be extracted. I was trusting the expertise of the dentist at PR dental studio that it would get better. I suffered chronic pain for over 8 months following up with them 4 times telling them it did not feel right. Then when my symptoms worsened I was reminded of an upcoming appointment rather than an immediate follow up. Do better for your patients and listen to them when they tell you it doesn't feel right. I did not display excruciating discomfort because I learned to live with the dull ache. I think I was overlooked and pacified.

This doctor talked me into buying a tooth guard I didn't want and didn't need. He was insisting I grind my teeth. I was telling him I think I grinded my teeth in the past but I don't think I do it anymore. I don't know why I doubted myself. I should have seen the red flag when I asked him how much it is and he said "I don't know." When I finished my cleaning it was on the bill for $450 and I paid it, I can't explain why. I was stupid for doing that, I know. My wife confirmed when I got home that no, I do not grind my teeth any longer. Early the next morning I emailed to cancel. No one replied so I called later in the day and they said there might be a lab fee but the person who deals with the lab is out sick for the week. I called again today 1 week later and she said unfortunately they can't give me any refund. Letting people know I wouldn't trust this place. It is BS that the Dr. didn't know how much they are selling their products for. It is also BS that they "couldn't cancel because the person who does it is out sick." To top it off, this whole past week, no one from their office has called me or emailed back. I've had to be the one to call them each time.

When I first went in I needed a cleaning, I usually need a deep cleaning, so I didn't question when they suggested it. The dentist was informative, the staff was friendly. Even though I felt like they were upselling other services, it really wasn't any different than most shady dental practices. That is until I sent my 25 year old son in to get a cleaning. He was falling off my insurance in a week and only needed a cleaning. They did not do the cleaning, instead they told him he required a deep cleaning. I told him to pass on it and just do the standard cleaning that's included with insurance. Long story short, they told him they legally were not able to perform a basic cleaning because he required a deep cleaning. Mind you, he's 25 years old and has excellent dental habits and a million dollar smile. I ended up calling the office and the office manager (forget his name) was so rude and unprofessional. He wouldn't let me speak with the owner and insisted my son needed a deep cleaning. The whole thing was extremely ridiculous and I have no doubt this place is only in business to cheat patients and scam insurance. I hope they go down fast.
