This review is long overdue. . I'm so glad I found my new Dentist. The office staff as well as Dr. Mishra are wonderful. I was going to my other Dentist for 15 years however my Dentist is no longer practicing I decided to come to Dr. Mishra based on another recommendation. I'm so happy I was able to find an honest, hard working Dentist that I could trust and feel comfortable with. His staff is very kind and very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed working with Theresa and Leo they are so pleasant on the phone, they answered all my questions and went over everything with me. I have gone to other Dentists before and they try to nickel and dime you and tell you that you need to do this and you need to do that which is absolute bs. Thankfully I didn't deal with that here. Dr. Mishra took his time to evaluate my teeth and gum health. He made me feel at ease and I appreciate his approach. We took x rays and everything was smooth. His Dental hygienist was friendly and didn't try to tell me any nonsense which I appreciated it. So far so good I've been here a few times for cleanings and it's been a great experience. Also don't judge a book by its cover the outside may not be the best but the inside is lovely and very spacious. I highly recommend Dr. Mishra he's a great Dentist and will take care of you. I went to Chatsworth Dental Group because my long-time dentist is transitioning into retirement. They are "the best". Their awesome equipment discovered that not only had my prior dentist capped a tooth that was cracked all the way down the root, but I had a massive infection. Dr. Hanna is amazing, He truly cares about his clients. He is compassionate; informative in how he thoroughly explains everything; constantly checks with you to ensure that you are comfortable, and is very skilled. Beginning with the tooth extraction, the implant process encompasses several steps; and I always was aware of the "next step" in addition to the current procedure. Finding a good dentist is not easy especially around Los Angeles. Their are a ton of dental offices so the options seem endless. This is a big part of the reason why I hadn't seen a dentist well past my typical semi-annual checkup/ cleaning. Anyways, I stumbled upon this office basically by accident and what a wonderful accident it turned out to be. Right when you walk in the energy of the office is very peaceful starting from front office staff, Leo and Thearsa, to the hygienist, Jennifer, and the very personable and caring dentist, Dr. Mishra. They are all very genuine, respectful, kind, and they do a very thorough and exceptional job. They lightened my teeth before I had a cleaning. . My tooth had a cavity . Dr miskoff did a horrible job filling it. Then 1 year later the filling came out. Then he put in a permanent tooth and placed it in area that left a large space and so now when I speak to quickly I bite my tongue every time. Every review is positive for Dr.Mishra , his new associate Dr.Isha did my cleaning and was HORRIBLE . the anesthesia wasn't working ,cut my gums and was bleeding for 2 days until I call the receptionist so see Dr.Mishra . It seem he didn't really care or didn't know what to say , Dr.isha talks to much , I wouldn't even give the one star if it wasn't necessary to leave a review. Do not recommend. Charged $100.00 for a less than 30 minute consultation with no work done. I felt they are money driven, not patient driven. - They ask for your social security number on the paperwork requested prior to your visit - not necessary. Also at reception when asked for your signature, make sure you ask to see what you are signing, as the receptionist just verbally tells you what you are signing. read more

Chatsworh Dental Group is a true find. Dr. Mishra is a kind, knowledgeable and empathetic physician. You immediately feel safe in his hands. His staff is caring, professional and personable. You feel they are genuinely invested in your care. I came in with a roaring toothache, needing an immediate root canal. Although they don't perform that service, Dr. Mishra's staff got on the phone and found an Endodontist to take care of my emergency. I Recommend!!! For regular dental check up is fine but NOT Implant. Check out the credentials as you are not paying for how the clinic looks but how you will be comfortable for the rest of your life with a very costly charge for an implant. Check the implant cost before you sign the contract. Check your billing ledger VS procedure cost. The billing staff are rude and always provide an inaccurate billing. He did my six month cleaning and I left. I called my friend who goes to Chatsworth Dental Group and asked if he liked his dentist. He said yes. He had done work on his mouth and he was happy. I called and got an appointment very fast. Everyone was very nice. I came and they found I lost a filling. They filled it and I was in and out in less than an hour. NOTICE TO ALL PATIENTS! VERIFY ALL YOUR PAYMENTS TO THIS OFFICE WITH YOUR INSURANCE! Check your Billing Invoices, check your EOB's and BEFORE any services are rendered, be sure to have them send an estimate of your patient responsibility. I paid upfront my patient and my family's responsibility. The staff claims they send an estimate to your insurance but they don't and I verified this with my insurance company because they keep records of any estimates sent. For my case in particular, I paid $500 upfront and a month or so later, I received an invoice for the SAME service I paid for that I still owe them $157.40. So in total, they wanted me to pay close to $660 for a service. I immediately called my insurance and spoke to 3 different representatives who all told me that I over paid and my responsibility is capped at $446.40. This Office, in fact, owes me money. (Have all documents to prove this) I called the office to try and get this all settled but instead, I had to send a letter to my insurance for Billing Non-Compliance. I am waiting on that refund. It was within that phonecall that they then told me I had a credit for my son that they can apply to this made up bill! In addition, my son had services rendered in which I was told I had a balance, same thing, I paid upfront to receive a bill after the fact! So I called his insurance and they didnt show anywhere that I owed any more. The office sent me a refund check for my son, of which I still need to verify this amount and cross reference it with his insurance because I have zero faith in their billing practices. As far as the Doctor himself, he's a good dentist. The staff, appearingly friendly but the shady business practices and fact that there is no "Real Medical Biller" or manager when issues like this come up, makes me stay clear of this business from here on out. To Over pay upfront and then try to collect more money after is absolutely absurd. I'm close to reporting this office to more than just sharing my experiences on YELP because the worst thing any business can ever do is take advantage of patients, by having them pay in the front door and then sending invoices out to collect more money from the back. I never thought I'd write a review about shady billing practices but I feel I have to write this to protect other patients who unknowingly pay unverified amounts. read more

Out of town on business and a gold crown came loose. I called their office and they told me to come in right away. They squeezed me in among their other patients. The receptionist was very nice. The dentist and his assistant were very hospitable, talkative and took their time even though other patients were waiting. Their prices were very reasonable and they acceptable my insurance and even called to get the information/accurate pricing. When leaving they offered me a calendar (sorry my calendar is online) and gave me a few cards for free checkup referrals to spread their nice practice. It is located in an old house on a main street.
