After driving home from Temecula, our Odyssey's blinking engine light came on. My brother‑in‑law…read morehelped us get home and referred us to Roger. We scheduled an appointment, and he came out a few days later. Roger quickly diagnosed the issue as a bad ignition coil and replaced it on the spot. He also recommended a maintenance service -- timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, and ignition coils -- since the car was due for it. We scheduled the full service for the following week. Because of the amount of labor involved, we agreed it would be easier for him to take the car to his home garage rather than work on it over multiple visits. He finished everything in just two days and returned the car to us. My wife, who primarily drives the Odyssey, immediately noticed how much smoother it runs now. Throughout the process, Roger kept us updated with photos of the work, which we really appreciated. He's a genuinely good guy, honest, and easy to work with. I'm writing this review because we're truly happy with the service, and we want to see Roger and his company continue to thrive.

Back in 2022 October, I literally was about to go to LAX for my international flight and my car…read morestopped working. So I had to tow the car back to my place and take off for 3 weeks and come back. So pretty much my car was stuck at my apartment's parking lot. When I came back, I called places but they said I would need to tow the car and do a diagnostic test and then they can tell me what's up. I just came back from my trip and I was still recovering from Jetlag so I decided to try mobile service and I found Raul on yelp and oh boy, did he come fast to the rescue! Don't be fool by the cover people, Raul is polite and respectful and I am glad that I was able to get help from him. So he looked at the under hood and said it was an alternator problem. So we bought the alternator from local AutoZone and he was able to replaced it like within 2 second. lol... Also, the cool part was, he bought his home boy aka his cousin or nephew (sorry it's been awhile) and was teaching him.. man I wish I had a cousin like Raul. Anyway, after 8 months, car is running like a new, so far so good with no big issue. But lately, being hot summer in Riverside, I do notice when I try to break with AC on full blast or when I try to turn the wheel while engine is in idle mode, car starts to shake which was not there before. So I'm off to texting Raul to see if he can help again. Btw, he also reached out, like a follow-up after all these times to see how my car was doing... seriously? Who does that!!!! Gracias Raul!

Super Auto Repair (Riverside, CA) Rating: 1 Star…read moreDo not bring your vehicle to Super Auto Repair. I paid this shop $4,638.00 for a full engine and radiator swap on my 2017 Subaru Impreza following a coolant leak, and they completely ruined my car, ignored their written warranty, and left me stranded with a non-running fire hazard. Here is the exact timeline of events: * July 13-14, 2026 (Deposit Paid): My vehicle was towed to their shop on July 13th due to an engine overheating/coolant issue. Following their recommendations for a full engine replacement, I paid an upfront deposit of $2,266.00 on July 14th in good faith to start the work. * July 23, 2026 (Pickup & Immediate Warning Light): I paid the remaining balance of $2,372.00 upon pickup (Invoice #6024). The Check Engine Light illuminated on the drive home immediately. * July 23, 2026 @ 09:13 AM (The Code Wipe Cover-Up): I brought the car back first thing the next morning. The shop verbally claimed nothing was wrong, but their scanner printed active stored codes: P0700 (Transmission Control System) and P1603 (Engine Stall History). Instead of inspecting their installation labor, they silently cleared the warning lights, handed me the keys, and sent me on my way hoping the issue would go away. * July 31, 2026 (Initial Warranty Refusal): Once required drive cycles completed, the light came right back on. The scanner retrieved code P0841 (Transmission Fluid Pressure/Circuit Performance)--an issue directly impacted by disconnecting transmission cooler lines and electrical harnesses during an engine pull. When I asked them to inspect fluid levels and harness seating under their 6-month warranty, they explicitly refused, writing on Invoice #6057 that the issue was "not related to engine." * BAR Pressure & Failed "Double-Check": Only after I got the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) involved did the shop finally agree to look into their work. I brought the car back before its total failure, and after performing an inspection, the shop claimed they "double-checked" their work and confirmed everything was done correctly. Yet, the Check Engine Light returned almost immediately after this check as well. * August 2026 (Total Breakdown & Gas Leak): Shortly after their so-called verification, the vehicle suffered a complete mechanical breakdown. It will no longer start at all, and the engine bay smells heavily of raw gasoline. When confronted, they claimed two fuel injectors "spontaneously failed"--ignoring that fuel rails and injectors are physically transferred during an engine swap and improper installation cuts O-rings and causes fuel leaks. I trusted this shop with over $4,600 of my hard-earned money. They rushed an engine swap, wiped warning codes to cover up errors, lied that their work was double-checked and correct after state intervention, and ultimately left me with an inoperable vehicle that leaks raw fuel. Stay far away.
