I reached out to several roofers (via Yelp). AAA-1 was the most responsive and the first to schedule an appointment to look at my roof. The owner (Randy) came out and spent a lot of time explaining the proper care and treatment of my particular roof (tapersawn, pre-treated, cedar shake). He is extremely knowledgeable, and I actually learned a lot. While our roof did not look bad, it had darkened over the years due to black fungus that apparently likes to grow on our type of cedar. AAA-1 recommended a two-step process of (1) cleaning the roof and then (after things had dried out), (2) applying a manufactured oil shingle treatment. Two of Randy's workers came out within a couple of weeks and spent most of a day pressure-washing the roof. Our roof's pitch is VERY steep, and it was comforting to see they were well-equipped with safety harnesses and ropes - using the tie-offs along our roof's ridge. Their cleanup was excellent. During the process, our beautiful off-white stucco house was covered in debris from the cleaning. But it was literally spotless - better than before - after they rinsed it all off. A few weeks later, the same crew returned and applied the oil. It looks fantastic now! It is a good feeling to know that our roof has been thoroughly cleaned and treated. Randy suggested a maintenance plan (basically every 3-5 years) to do the same process. We do not get much debris on our roof, so it is mostly sun damage and the black fungus we need to address. The oil also helps prevent curling and/or splitting of the shakes. AAA-1 also cleaned our detached gazebo and garden shed - both of which cleaned up nicely. I highly recommend AAA-1. Knowledgeable, professional, prompt, thorough, and honest are all adjectives I'd use to describe these folks. read more

If I could, I would give them 0 stars... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, and go with someone else's services! I found that local newspaper advertisement worth a coupon/promotional deal of $299 for roof wash up to 1900sq feet! What a deal you would say, right? Wrong! And my husband proved me wrong and being too naive yet again. First of, I tried to schedule an estimation visit and no dates or time were provided. Then I asked them at least notify me of the visit 24 hours in advance, cause I wanted to be present and talk to the estimator. Guess what, I got a call from their office telling me there estimator will be there in 30 min when I was out, so I rushed home immediately and found out that he already left like 2 hours ago! Second, I was patiently waiting for an estimation that day, and the best day, and decided to give them a call, where a nice lady told me that she will send me my estimation in an hour or so. No result! The next day I called again and heard a bs about junk folders or whatnot... Finally, I got my email after that. And what a surprise... Third, surprise was great! My promo/coupon estimated price was $645 plus tax = $712!!! Let me explain also that our whole house area (2 floors!!!) is 1800sq feet! So, even if my roof including slopes is double of one floor area (900 sq feet), it would still be under stated 1900sq f promo! And, as someone already mentioned in their review, their estimate basically said: - We'll wash your roof for xxx $ - If you accept in 24 hours, we'll decrease this by X percent - If you pay by cash/check, we'll decrease this by Y percent No explanation provided of ANY sorts of details of unique case, or basis of provided pricing!!!?!?!! As prices for this service have increased, I shopped around for a new gutter/roof cleaning service. Angela per phone conversation discussed in detail the options I needed. The company stopped by and immediately emailed me a proposal, broken down. The process was extremely professional. They matched the price of my previous service, which was the more reasonable quote. AAA1 was quickly available to clean my roof, gutters and add treatment. Leo spent 4 hours servicing the roof and cleaned up much better than previous services. The initial consultation and estimate went well. The scheduling was handled pretty well by the office as well. However, on the day of the scheduled service nobody showed up and nobody called. I left a voice mail and an email to the office, but I guess nobody works at the office on a Saturday either. Now, it's Monday and still nobody from the office called and offered me an apology or whatever. Later on that evening, the worker showed up without a mask, a big no-no on this present situation, and would like to reschedule for the next morning; I hesitated but did not want the guy to get in trouble in case he accidentally missed the appointment for whatever reasons. To his credit the worker came the next morning on time; however, he was still without a mask and smelled like he was smoking marijuana earlier. I really should have turned him away, but I just wanted to give him a chance. Fast forward a little bit, he completed the job with many spots on my roof still have moss and dead leaves, and my yard was still messy. The attached photos were taken right after the job was completed. These are the only areas I can see from my room and from the deck. I'm not sure of the areas on the second floor. Needless to say, I am not a happy customer!. I would not go back to AAA-1 and would not recommend this company unless they improve on their employees' training and selection. read more

OMG, don't go to them for repairs. They do barely any due diligence before issuing estimates. Their estimate included 3 line items, which basically said: - We'll repair your roof for xxxK $ - If you accept in 24 hours, we'll decrease this by X percent - If you pay by cash/check, we'll decrease this by Y percent That's it! No information about why the leak is occuring, no information about what they will do to fix it, no information about what guarantees they provide. Nothing. Compared to these, the other estimates I got had a detail information of 10s of lines on what they thought was the cost of the leak, the various options available to us, the costing for each option, followed by the warranty on each option. Also, compared to these folks, whose estimator spent 10 minutes on looking at the issue, most of the others spent between 50 - 90 minutes on figuring out the issue, and explaining to us in detail the possibilities. read more

WARNING: DON'T USE AAA ROOFING AND READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE SIGNING IF YOU DECIDE TO USE THEM. Came home to debris all over the yard and new porch furniture soaked with water. Went inside and noticed that water was pouring out of the attic scuttle hole. Called the office immediately and received no help at all. Called the office 20 minute later, no one would answer the phone. Left several messages, no return phone call. The technician who cleaned the roof ran the pressure washer up the roof instead of down causing water to go under the ridge vent. Also did the same to all of the roof vents. Spent all that night removing dripping wet insulation from my attic trying to save the ceiling drywall. This was the first and last time using this outfit. Also if you're thinking of using AAA ROOFING, look closely at the bottom of the contract in the fine print. They try to cover their butts by stating that they are not responsible for water damage. I am extremely impressed with the professionalism, work performed and customer service we received from AAA 1 Roof Care. Gilbert did a fantastic job cleaning our roof and gutters!! I was impressed at how much attention he paid to detail. He let me know some potential problem areas with our roof but was not pushy about. I did have to leave before he was finished so when I get home, I was pleasantly surprised at how little mess there was around our house. In fact, there was really no mess. He did a great job of cleaning everything up and our roof and gutters look awesome. Although our roof did not fall under the coupon special pricing, Angela worked with us so it was reasonable to have out roof and gutters cleaned. I would highly recommend AAA 1 Roof Care to anyone who needs their roof and gutters cleaned. They did a fantastic job and I will use them again in the future. read more

Not very pleased with how our service was handled. According to the coupon we used that referred us to the service it clearly states "All debris cleaned up" which did not happen. Spots to our house were skipped over including our skylight and downspouts. Claimed they moved things during clean up which did not happen. Tried contacting the office several times but no one answered the phone. We would have not paid for this service had we known they would not fully clean up the debris. Very dissatisfied with this company!! Would not recommend them ever!!! Do NOT use them ever again!! Customer service is horrible. We had a small leak in our roof in February 2020. We called a couple people to repair it, and AAA-1 seemed like they were confident they could fix the problem. They told us they were 99.9% sure of the source of the leak, and replaced some flashing and torch down on our roof. The total cost was $1300, and we paid additional for a roof cleaning. Fast forward 6 months, with the start of rains in September 2020, we noticed that the roof was still experiencing leaks. We had 3 other companies come out to consider a repair, but all said we would be better off replacing the roof. Their take on the patch that AAA-1 did was that 'it was not done by a professional roofer' We'll be replacing the roof next month. Unprofessionalism on steroids! I first called this company on March 12, 2024 for a quote. When I called I was asked if I had a coupon and the coupon code (there are two coupons for different packages with same code, 705), which I supplied. After giving representative, Kim, my name, home address, and email address, I was told that Randy would be looking at our property W/I 5-7 days after which he would send me a quote. One March 19, 2024 I called again because I did not receive an email with his quote. I was told that I needed to call the "Home Office" (206) 328-4450, which I did. I was told by Emma that she had all of my information and would check with Randy and get right back to me. She never called and I have yet to receive a quote. Today, March 26, 2024, I made a final attempt at finding out why I am not being sent a quote. I was treated pretty poorly. She said something about me hiring someone else in 2022 or some comment like that and got pretty nasty. I replied that due to their lack of response, in this instance, I believe they never intended to honor their coupon, which expired on 5/19/24. She ignorantly replied, now I know why he didn't respond. What? I told her she and he could go *#&^ themselves! And gladly hung up. Their attitude tells me they are. most likely, not good at what they do no matter how many friends, family, neighbors claim otherwise. I called AAA1 Roof Care with a coupon for $299 which included: Pressure wash roof, liquid moss treatment and preventative, clean/pressure wash & inspect gutters & downspouts, wash exterior of house, clean up debris on ground from roof. I contacted the company on 3/18/16 requesting an estimate. It took nearly 4 weeks to get an estimated and have the work performed. The estimate came in $100 over the advertised price. Included in the increase: "extra moss & fungus" on the roof (extra $64 to remove - with a discount of course if we scheduled right away), The Saturday before the roof wash, WE spent 8 hours outside scrubbing the vinyl siding and gutters, everything was immaculate on the outside. On Tuesday 4/12/16, the work was performed by "Fernando". The neighbor stated that he was on our property for an hour & half. We came home that afternoon to find water dripping through our bathroom skylight, the paint was bubbled up around the skylight and had to be pierced in order to relieve the pressure and let the water out. One 'bubble' filled up nearly one quarter of the bathroom garbage can. Water was dripping from all 3 exhaust vents in the upstairs bathrooms and there was water inside the attic on the insulation. I am also unsure if moss treatment was applied to the roof, the treatment is a liquid and it was raining so hard that day. The exterior of the house was NOT washed off, it was covered with little black 'flecks' of moss. Both neighbors on either side of us had moss on their homes too. Fernando took no time to clean either of the neighbor's houses, and if he cleaned ours, he did a very poor job. Our lawn, driveway and flowerbeds had chunks of moss all over. When we came home and found the numerous leaks, I immediately called AAA1 Roof Care and got no answer or return call that night. I also emailed Karen, the person with whom I had been in contact with through the whole estimate/booking process. No response from the business that night. I called again on 4/13. I received a return EMAIL from Karen which stated that "Randy" has my paperwork and will be out to our house on Thursday 4/14/16 after 4p.m. We left work early and arrived home by 3:30. We waited until 6 p.m., Randy was a no-show. I called and emailed AAA1 that night, no response. I called Karen the next morning, to ask why he didn't show OR call, she was rather rude and said "Well, he was working on the Eastside and couldn't get to your house". So why didn't he at least CALL? Karen stated in that call that she would send Fernando "right out" that day 4/15/16 to look at the skylight. He did not show. I emailed Karen on Tuesday 4/19/16 to ask why he didn't show up (thinking he might come out on Monday), she replied that she did not even give him my paperwork until that day 4/19/16 (after promising that he would come out on 4/15). She made excuses that he was in a different part of town, he was running late, he is so busy, etc. Meanwhile, I am nervous about rain coming through the skylight, and the paint around it which bubbled up has not yet receded. And is there mold growing in the attic now? Meanwhile, every day when I come home I check the front door for some sort of correspondence or business card indicating that they have been to the property. Nothing I called Karen again on 5/2/16 inquiring about Fernando or Randy or just ANYONE to come out and see this damage that they caused. I told her again how dirty they left the house and my neighbor's house, she became very upset and almost yelled "your roof was just not that dirty!" To which I responded, "you charged be an extra $64.00 because it was so filthy!" Of course she stumbled over her word and back peddled. She indicated that AAA1 Roof Care IS responsible for the damage and "even if they have to pay an outside company to make the repairs, they will". I called Karen again on 5/9/16. She again reiterated that they are responsible for the damage, she was very apologetic and just very concerned that no one has come out. She indicated that possibly Fernando has no idea how to repair a skylight, so she is now sending someone new out to look at it. I called Karen, for the last time, on 5/16/16. Again, same story....we're sorry, we'll fix it. It is now 6/22/16, I have given up with the weekly phone calls. No one has reached out to us by phone or email or in person. Every time it rains the paint around the skylight in my bathroom bubbles up with water and takes several days to recede. I am now faced with hiring a roofing company to come and fix what AAA1 Roof Care broke and refuses to fix. It has been more than two months since AAA1 Roof Care damaged my property. No attempt has been made to repair the damage or compensate us for the repair. Calls have gone unanswered and promises to come out to view the damage have gone unfulfilled. This is the WORST case of performance and customer service I have EVER experienced! read more

Fabulous service! We're a repeat customer too, but this time we are preparing for sale. Randy dialed is a tight, accurate quote for us with some options. We did the entire roof cleaning, with a bundle of shakes to replace the worst ones there, and once the roof dries for a couple days, they will be back for the oil coating. It looks very good now - and will be great when oil coated. Our tech was great. He really busted his backside for over 9 hours today making the roof right. Quality folks do quality work. From watching Alvaro work, I could tell that he is a guy who is dedicated to getting it done without taking shortcuts or speeding it up if behind schedule: he makes sure the job is done right. After asking just for a blow off and gutter cleaning prior to exterior painting, they went into sell-mode with references to pressure washing and use of zinc powder which I didn't need and didn't ask for. After doing a little research online for a roofing company with the best reviews and an affordable price, I called AAA-1 Roof Care. I needed someone to clean my gutters and remove the long overdue and hideously overgrown moss from my roof! They answered the phone, took down my details, and got the estimator out there quicker than expected! He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable and very nice! The office promptly emailed me with the estimate and called so that I was able to schedule right away. The technician did a great job! I don't know why I waited so long! The roof looks awesome AND they even put a treatment on! Great deal for the price! I had a lot of moss on the roof and they even cleaned up any excess moss around the home. I know my roof size (+/- 2500 sqft) is larger than the max size in the coupon (1900 sqft) but more than triple the cost, come on...ridiculous. Had AAA1 clean my roof with a coupon for a little over $400 today. The coupon was for roof cleaning, gutters, and wash siding. So the roof is clean........ my siding was not washed. I think the gutters are clean. I had pressure washed my siding myself last weekend so I know it was clean. Now it looks like s...... well you know "bad". And to top it off they broke a fence board off that had two latches on It, one on top one on bottom. They try to fix it by screwing it in.... nice work right? Nope! They put it back on with latches facing out to street and upside down. UGH!!! Don't waist your money go somewhere else. Oh and I told them I am listening my house tomorrow. I had roof cleaning done and I'm not happy with the "fall-out". The roof looked good, but in the process all my plants which were in permanent beds around the house, and some in pots more than the 10' required distance from the house are dying. My beautiful flower pots no longer have flowers and I don't think they'll have time to recover before the end of summer. I should have been told to schedule this in the winter when it would not matter. When I originally solicited the quote I was told that all the things I could not move 10' away would be protected. When I called after, I was told the plants "would come back". However, they also didn't protect my ponds and fountains and now I have plugged pumps! Also, I would have assumed that as long as they are cleaning the roof, the skylights would be wiped. Instead I was told I would have to pay extra in the form of a "tip", but that the cleaner didn't carry rags with them. Hmmmm Also, I'm not sure that any of the promised roof repairs were done and I'm concerned that the roof was not dry when they applied the oil. At first I was told that they needed to wait for the roof to dry before applying the oil. It had just stopped raining when they called and said they would be out that afternoon. When I questioned them, they changed their story. I think they wanted to apply it at that time so it would not soak up as much oil. AND it only took one man 40 minutes to do an entire roof. How could they have time to repair any shingles and and & paint the furnace stack. (I paid extra for painting and sanding the furnace stack.) I'm waiting for my son to come by and crawl up on our 2-story roof to check it out. I asked for the "old" shingles to be left, but there was no evidence of any replacement work as was promised. I noticed that our roof had accumulated moss/debris that wasn't washing off naturally in the winter/spring rains, so I decided it needed to be pressure washed this year. My neighbor recommended AAA-1 Roof Care since they pressure washed his roof for about $350, and he was mostly satisfied with their work (Note: he mentioned to me that a few roof tiles came off during the cleaning process, which they repaired). Additionally, I had come across one of the AAA-1 Roof Care $299 Roof Pressure Washing Coupons in the valpak mailer, so this prompted me to reach out to them in May (the coupon was expiring at the end of that month) and get the work scheduled. After calling them, they asked for my address to look up what I assume was any county/public record roofing details on my property, as well as get the location to send someone to visit the site and write up an estimate. The first thing that impressed me about AAA-1 Roof Care was the amount of information and detail that went into the estimate. The proposed invoice outlined all the work that would be done and explained every step to the point where I felt assured that they were going to do a thorough job. What really stood out was the inclusion of 5 "Notes" at the bottom, where the estimator talked about how it looked like someone had improperly pressure washed the roof in the past, explained that black fungus was growing and why this is a problem, pointed out how my roof is a laminate one and what care it needs, and tied all of these things together to summarize the whole situation. Unfortunately, due to my roof having a 5/12-7/12-12/12 pitch (80% of my roof was a 5/12 or maybe a 7/12 pitch, but there was one small, steeper part of the roof hanging above an upstairs window), the $299 coupon didn't apply to me. The estimate came out to be a little more than $500, but after comparing this total to the ones from other roof companies, it was the least expensive option. They did offer to discount their price if I paid via a check rather than a credit card, but I didn't have the extra funds at the time to move forward with the job in May. Thankfully, the person with AAA-1 who I talked to over the phone offered to put a note under my estimate record indicating that this discount should be applied to my future service, which I appreciated. I reached out to AAA-1 Roof Care in Late June with serious intent to schedule the work, and it was set up to be completed on July 2. The person who came out was Fernando, and he performed the roof cleaning in about 2-3 hours. A lot of black fungus pieces fell in the grass, but Fernando was careful to avoid spraying it off onto our deck. Most importantly, there was an obvious difference and cleaner look to the roof's appearance after the pressure washing (I took before-and-after photos), so I was pleased that the job looked complete (from the parts I could see). I only have a couple of minor annoyances to point out: one of the downspouts didn't appear to be pressure washed like the estimate promised, and a small amount of water leaked through onto a second floor windowsill. Despite this, I would still rate AAA-1 Roof Care (phone/email contact with office, invoice details, professionalism of estimator/washer, quality of job, and the price) as a 5-Star Service Provider. read more

This company does not carry insurance. If something goes wrong--and often it does with AAA1--they will not fix it or pay what they should for repairs. Instead, they will insist that you pay them. If you don't, expect an attack on your credit rating. The "expert" roof cleaner did not attach the hose correctly, and water flooded my basement. Their response was to tell me to contact my insurance company. My insurance company is now going after them to get back the $8,000 in repairs. I'm sure I'll never get back my $2,400 deductible. Short story: AAA-1 Roofing's customer service is awful when issues arise. The service performed on the roof was fine, but the process of addressing a concern of mine was terrible and I do not feel it was satisfactorily resolved. I believe they had a mix-up in scheduling or something, and a portion of the service that I paid for (over $700) was not performed prior to my bringing it to their attention, nearly three months later after I compared the results of my roof with those of my neighbor who had the same service performed. They refused to acknowledge the error or offer to make any restitution, they simply did the missing service ("again" in the words of the office manager), as they could not furnish proof that the service was in fact provided. Long story: We had AAA-1 Roofing come to our house to clean and oil treat our shake roof. They came on 6/7 to perform the service, and I paid for the entire service. Afterward, the roof looked fine, no leaks, and the clean-up was good, so I didn't think twice. Until almost three months later when our neighbor hired them to do the same service to their roof. In speaking with the neighbors they said that AAA would be coming out a few days later to oil the roof. This made me stop because I was never aware/informed that the oiling was to happen a different day from the cleaning, and I had been seeing our roof look blanched throughout the summer, but I chalked it up to my inexperience. I also could not recall any subsequent communication from AAA about the oiling being completed. Once our neighbor had their oiling performed, the difference between their roof and ours was night and day. This is where my complaint begins. The customer service provided once the issue arose was appalling. Karen, I'm assuming the office manager, is not skilled in dealing with issues or escalations. Her initial response, when I said that I suspected the oiling wasn't done, was "oh my, you paid for it, we better make sure it gets done". She took a day to "look through the paperwork to see what happened". She called back the next day and said she couldn't find anything definitive on this, and she'd have to wait for the owner Randy to look through payroll records. ISSUE 1: Poor records management and tracking. I had to call THEM three days later to get an update. ISSUE 2: Poor communication and ability to set expectations for the customer. Karen made all kinds of excuses, about Randy being busy with quotes, and she had barely seen him, etc., etc., etc. She said she had talked to Gilbert, who was saying that he did oil the roof. When I challenged her, that perhaps he mis-remembered, based on what I was seeing with my own eyes, I got a snide comment from Karen "He is 34 years old not 80!" She made various comments that did nothing to address my concerns ("If only you met him, Randy is a really nice guy, I've been here four years", "you know the oil is really expensive", "we had office turnover about the time this happened" etc., etc., etc. ) She said Gilbert would come out to the house sometime to take a look and verify whether he did it or not. ISSUE 3: Dodging the issue with lots of irrelevant information and excuses, which only left me confused and unsure as to what to expect. Then I had to call THEM again three business days later (plus a long weekend) for another update. As it happened Gilbert was just pulling up to my house, luckily I happened to be home. They didn't let me know when he was coming. All he said was that he remembers coming to our house, and he'd come again in two days to put oil on. When I called the office back, Karen was again snippy confirming that "they would come back and put MORE oil on our roof, we should have a VERY well protected roof now". She also made sure to rub in that they would make NO restitution for this, that they were going out of pocket on the "very expensive oil" doing it a "again". ISSUE 4: Despite no proof on their end that they performed the service before, they would not acknowledge my observations as valid. Two days later, Gilbert came to do the oiling. After he put the oil on, it was APPARENT that oil had not been applied previously, as the look and color was now similar to my neighbor's, and much different from before he applied it When he was finished, he came to the door ASKING HOW I WANTED TO PAY! When I called the usual number on Monday after Gilbert performed the oiling, it seems my number was blocked as it kept going straight to voicemail during business hours. When I called another number for them, it conveniently went through. ISSUE 5: Avoiding direct contact with the customer. When I confronted Karen about how different my roof now looked, she had no explanation, saying "I don't know how", yet would still not believe that perhaps they made an error and never did the service before I caught it. I am now awaiting a call from the owner, but she again couldn't let me know when to expect it read more

I am still amazed by this company after years of service. We get our roof blown off twice a year and have had moss treated as well. They take notes about our request (please don't blow the gutters too crazy so that it all goes onto the windows). Then the next person, a totally different person, reads that note and scoops out the gutter on that side of the house. Awesome guys have come out every time. Thank you!!!! read more

Randy came out and evaluated my roof and was very prompt and courteous. I could tell right away that he had many years of roofing experience. He sent his crew out in a timely manner and did an excellent job. We had the roof cleaned in preparation to sell our house. He gave us lotsof good tips about the inspection process. This is the second time when this company cleaned our roof. First time it was out house several years ago, and they did an outstanding job, second time it was our rental townhouse. Scheduling with them was a breeze. They were able to come the next day after the estimate was given. You get an estimate and a complete explanation of what to expect and what is going to be done. AAA1 did pressure wash for my siding and deck. They are really affordable and the quality of their work is really good.

I had some repair work done last fall. The work was done on time and in a professional manner. Would recommend.

They used too much pressure on our roof, deck, and fence in an attempt to get the job done faster. The 1800 of decking was destroyed due to very high pressure washing. They left my neighbors houses and yards covered in debris after the roof "cleaning". Like the other reviewer, they "found" a lot more work that needed to be done on the roof. After the decking was splinter so badly we fought for a few weeks. Then, unknown to me at the time, they hired a drunk and a 15 year old kid to sand down the decking. In an attempt to save time they rented an industrial 12 inch wide walk behind belt sander leaving huge gouges in the decking when they paused or stopped/started the machine. I finally had to make them leave at 10PM. Working in the dark left more damage. Not to mention the liability of having a drunk and a kid working on my property and defecating in my garden (a neighbor reported seeing the both of them dig a small hole and squat down). The subcontracted drunk had lost his license and bond the year prior. This company will do anything to get your money. In the end the cost was more than triple the estimate. "Oh, we didn't realize how much there was to do.". Stay away. There are great companies out there. This is not one of them. read more

Buyer Beware!!! We just had the worst experience dealing with aaa1 Roof Care, and after reading several other reviews, we are not alone. We received a flyer in the mail stating a $299 special for all the basic cleaning services, gutter cleaning, roof preservative. We had a quote mailed to us for $375 due to a bigger roof pitch, normal is 4/12-5/12, they stated that ours was 7/12-8/12. My husband knew immediately that wasn't correct and called and spoke with Karen, who was less than professional to say the least. She stated that they didn't charge extra for that, they were charging extra for the extra moss on roof. We questioned that, and she then changed her story saying, no, that was a mistake, the extra charge is for the pitch of the roof. So, my husband went out and actually measured the roof, only to prove that it is actually only 1300 square feet. So, we called Karen back and she back pedalled and said it must have been for the extra moss and what's the big deal for 40 more dollars!!! She was pretty argumentative and we realized we don't want to do business with this type of company. I got online and pulled up yelp only to find more of the same experiences, even worse and we are so glad we didn't use them. Bait and switch...... read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We paid AAA-1 to clean our roof and gutters. Service man left the water on in our garage after completing the job. We left town the next day and did not notice the water was left on (there was a nozzle attached to the hose so it wasn't a noticeable leak). When we returned home after two weeks, the drywall around the spigot in our garage was covered in mold. I called AAA-1 Roof Care to discuss the issue and was met with harshness immediately. The first lady I talked to told me that "this wasn't a concern of the company, because we don't leave water on". I asked to speak to an owner or manager and she told me one would "maybe" call me back. A while later, a man who said his name was Randy called me back (he never told me his title). After explaining the situation, Randy confirmed that they did this service for me, but did not leave the water on. After I explained what happened and how the service technician never came back through the house and garage to turn the water off the same way he turned it on, Randy told me that it was not his company's responsibility to turn my water off after a job. He asked me "do you expect the service technician to come back through your house and garage to turn the water off? That's not our job, that's your job." He told me to read the invoice that I had signed to say that I take responsibility for any damages. I could not find my copy of the invoice, so I asked him to send me one so I could see it. He got belligerent with me and repeatedly refused my request for a copy of my invoice and told me I was "on my own". I asked him several times for the name of the company's insurance agency, and he refused. He called me an "idiot" for not turning my own water off and hung up on me. read more

We requested a quote. They sent an individual to our home when we were not home. The only access to our house is through the front gate (unless you have climbing equipment or a helicopter) which was closed. The AAA1 representative forced our gates open, damaging the actuators. I repaired the damaged gates and called AAA! advising them there is a law against breaking and entering. The cavalier attitude of their receptionist was staggering. If they have so little respect for my property now, what kind of work can I expect should I actually contract them to clean my roof? NO THANKS!!! read more
