The WORSE AAA experience EVER!! Been a AAA member for 10+ years and have always gone to the Pittsburg branch until it relocated to this location. I love AAA for the DMV convenience and have always been in and out at the Pittsburg location to pay my registration. This branch is smaller than the Pittsburg branch that closed, I had to wait an hour just to pay registration, practically just as bad as waiting at the DMV. Why relocate to downgrade service? I love AAA! So i had to pay my registration and figured i would take a quick trip to DMV to take care of it. I sat there like a moron for about 2 hours, listening to the bingo numbers going off. I felt like i was in a welfare office and for some reason, i kept smelling weed. anyways, i had enough and left. Since i was complaining on FB, one of my friends told me to swing into AAA and take care of my issue. All i can say is i was in and out in about 10 minutes. I spent 1hr on the phone getting the run around!! they Lie and told me that I can get the classic membership and be able to get towed and if I've had extra $75 that expedite my 48 hour wait . that I can get towed the same day they have me on the phone for it 45 minutes saying you've been a member with us for three years and we have a bunch of discounts and rewards we can use for you so you won't have to pay out of pocket for The upgrade to Premier so you can get 100 miles of towing so instead of paying $59 they'll pay $91 yr and you don't have to pay out of pocket today then to say oh we made a mistake you have to pay another $35 on top of the $150 we charged you for the classic plus the $75 fee to waive the 48hr but you can't use your hundred miles you can only do 5 miles today .. oh it $15 dollars a mile so a Nother $300 to get home.... I would never tell anybody to deal with them like the said 3years no accidents on my record no points paid them on time but they never ever could accommodate me when I need the most they are not reliable company when it comes to customer satisfaction they don't have no kind of good deals for their loyal customers I cannot wait for another better company to come along read more

When I walked into the office it took a while for someone to approach me. A few employees were staring at me like they've never seen someone walk in. I wasn't sure if I looked stupid standing there or if I should walk to a desk and make it seem like I knew what I was doing. I was then greeted by a younger lady. She asked me what I need help with. I told her I was looking for auto insurance. She then sat me down with an agent. The agent seemed to be friendly but unprofessional. She told me she was ready to go on her break so she would make it quick. She then started to tell me about the "drama" that happens in the office. I was not prepared for this. Sure enough she was done in no time. I must of been in there for about 10 mins. She didn't go over the coverages with me. A month later I decided to switch insurance so I called to cancel my insurance. About 2 weeks after I cancel my insurance I started to receive phone calls and emails from a girl name Dora. She was calling and harassing me about making a payment. She said if I did not pay it would go to collections. I always thought with insurance you pay month to month. If you don't pay one month the consequence means no insurance. Not collections. I called the AAA number to speak to a rep about my problem. I was transferred to so many representatives. When I finally reached the 6th person they were nice enough to help me resolve the problem. I will never do business with them again! read more

Being a member has always made us feel like we're part of an exclusive club with many perks! We've used their travel services and their DMV services and every time it's been efficient and smooth. The employees are very friendly and their waiting system is efficient. I came in recently where there was about an hour wait, but they have a texting service where you can leave and they'll text you when you're next. They even gave text options to check your status in line or if you need more time to get back to the location if you're out. Very convenient and well worth the membership price. She helped us through the process, made us laugh, and made sure we were taken care of. She was honest, and seemed like she really cared. I can't say enough to convey how truly helpful and pleasant this office was today. I came up from Santa Cruz to help my son get the title transferred for a truck that he had recently purchased. We had first gone to Pittsburgh DMV a little before 3 pm and were told they were not giving out any more numbers plus there was a 2 1/2 hour wait AND it was utter chaos there at the DMV. We weren't sure what to do next. So even though none of us have AAA, I said let's go talk to them. We went to the Lone Star office near my son's home. We first met with Clarissa who was genuine, knowledgeable, efficient and was truly interested in our situation. At first we were just going to get roadside for my son so we could utilize AAA's DMV services. That was awesome enough and we would have been happy with just that. But it got better... turns out she ended up saving him over 50% per month by switching his liability coverage from Progressive. And the cherry on top - he even got a $100 visa gift card for opening the new policy with AAA! After we were finished with the membership/insurance portion with Clarissa, we moved over to Becky's desk to do the DMV part. She was super helpful and knowledgeable as well and explained everything she was doing. Before we knew it, we had his truck registered with new tags, his insurance bill is now less than half of what it was with Progressive and he's got $100 to go shopping with. What a TRULY PLEASANT and absolutely painless process we experienced going there. They treated us as if we had been coming there for years. AAA is doing something really right with their training and customer service processes. I plan on switching my policy as well after 3 years of having MetLife with no one consistent to talk to. I came here with my mother to get my car registration. The people working there are very nice (the man helping us was making real conversation and not just sitting there saying nothing) and we didn't have to wait too long. Everything was done rather quickly. This place usually isn't so busy but maybe it's because we never go late in the afternoon. By the way, I love their car insurance. It has saved me from flat tires, to getting my car towed and I didn't have to pay a dime out of my pocket. EVER. I highly recommend their insurance. Trust me, you'll never want to switch to another one ever again! read more

Excellent experience. I went for DMV services. I had a lot of paperwork to process and even though I had most of it completed, Raechelle, highlighted and explained everything that need to be completed. There was one issue that required 2 calls to the DMV help desk, but she was very patient, professional, and friendly during the entire transaction. Highly recommended for DMV services that they are able to process, much better that a trip to DMV! read more

Been wit AAA for a long time. I came in to register my car but was told that I have to endure a 4hr wait because there are 15 people ahead of me. I was also told that there are 2 cashiers available??? Let's do the math and it seems like there is no sense of urgency when it comes to dealing with member services anymore! This review is for the Antioch branch on Lone Tree, but more specifically Clarissa Martinez, one of the Insurance Associates. I've used this branch a couple of times for services including dmv registration, insurance payments, and so on. Every time I have enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and the knowledgeable employees working there. Today I had questions about my insurance premium and also had to make a payment. Clarissa was SO helpful the entire time, answering all of my questions with clear, concise answers, quickly and efficiently processing the payment, and all around having a wonderful personality. Decided to come into to Triple A so I could renew my registration. The man at the front desk Frank was very rude. I told him my name and he rolled his eyes and said "is that your name". Why else would I tell you name if it wasn't my own? I asked if there was a wait and he said " I don't know" how are the front desk guy putting people on a wait and knowing how long the wait is as well as not greeting anybody when coming in and not smiling what so ever. Showed up a full 45 minutes before closing and they wouldn't let me in because they were 'too busy'.. Any business that's worth being in business lets their customers come in until closing time and they help them until the job is complete. Never heard of anyone doing business like this. I have been a AAA member for a while now and never experienced this lack of service until this week. I went to pay my registration 2 days ago, and an associate had me swipe my card twice. It charged my account twice and they claim it only came up once on their end. I waited 24 hours to see if the second charge would fall off because it was pending, but it didn't. I went back and asked for a manger, so Janet comes out and talks to us about the situation but still is no help and quite condescending. Today, I have to go back a third day in a row for a refund. read more

DMV service wait time is horrible. 15 people ahead of me. Been members and had their insurance 35 years. It was never this long a wait when the office was in Antioch. Not enough DMV clerks to handle the number of members. When I complained about the service, the guy at the desk gave a canned response about the wait being longer at the DMV. I told him I wasn't paying the DMV for their service, but I am paying AAA for theirs. It's a same that companies these days don't care about customer service anymore! read more

Worst service ever. I tried to get my wife her temporary disabled placard for her car. She recently had surgery and is in a hospital bed recovering. I had all the necessary paperwork, her ID and her AAA card. He went inside and spoke to someone and came out. The person I spoke with said the she needed to be present in order to get the placard. I advised them again that she is not mobile yet. He said she has to at least be in the vehicle for them to verity her picture. I asked if he would like to FaceTime her for verification. No! I advised him that I brought what DMV requires to complete this request. He said his hands are tied. I'll be canceling my services with them after 30 years because of 1 persons actions. read more

I was very disappointed in the service at this AAA branch. All I wanted to do was pay my registration and get new tags - a 2 minute transaction. Before heading out I called the # listed on their website and was told to go on in as the line shouldn't be long - only to find out on arrival I had to make an appointment - and they were booking a week out. Wow - for a simple 2 minute DMV transaction. I returned today at my appointment time and again had to wait to be helped. While I was sitting there I watched at least 5 employees just kind of hanging around talking about break times and other personal business while I sat and waited. There's App for their "service" is called QLess - I would call it Clueless! By the way my sister went to the Santa Clara office last week and spent maybe 3 minutes in and out, no appointed needed, for the exact same transaction. If you're altering your business practices for Covid I get it, but put it on your website and inform your call-in number 925-522-7920 associates of the new procedures. Well, this 5-star rating shown is the result of what began as a stressful, complicated process of my renewing the registration for my car that listed some fees from 2018/2019 which I paid last year and had receipts for. I expected a 'Battle of Wits' as I experienced on the phone with DMV prior to this visit. Instead I met Rachelle who without even realizing that she had created a calm, understanding presence. She answered all of my questions without hesitation and actually said "before you leave do you have any other questions?". I was blown away with her patience, understanding and professionalism. I have been a member of CSAA Insurance (AAA) for 25 years. Since they opened the new office in Antioch the service is horrible. First of all, the office is too small and has no real privacy. Second, you use to he able to go in and just purchase tickets to attractions. They had a list at cashier window of ticket prices to view. Now you have to wait just to even find out the prices. So ridiculous and very bad service. I called twice before I went there only to get a recording for me to leave a message. I called again with the 800 jumber only to be placed on hold for 23 minutes. I ended ip hanging up because of the long hold and no help. Thats when I went in to Antioch officee ror help. Worst experience and service. Going to change insurance providers. read more
