Getting a technician on site took four attempts over three days due to repeated no shows and scheduling failures. When work finally began the scope kept growing, a commitment made onsite that the new control board would be included at no extra cost was later ignored and I was billed an additional $370. Five visits and nearly $1,800 later my AC was doing the exact same thing the furnace had been doing. I brought in a second company. They found the problem in under an hour: the new control board Haverstraw installed had been incorrectly wired. One technician. One visit. Problem solved. When I presented this to Haverstraw they responded without anyone putting their name on it, denied any responsibility, and had the nerve to claim the board was reinstalled as originally found. They put in a brand new board. There was nothing to reinstall. If you are looking for reliable, accountable service look somewhere else.
