AAA is terrible. I told them i have work and asked them to come help me w my car. They told me it would only take an hour but i've been sitting stuck in my car for 3 hours with nobody to call. Visited this location today. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They helped me get my membership updated. They also provided area maps I can use whenever I'm in a location where GPS fails me. As a bonus this branch is very tidy with nice travel displays, and their restroom was super clean. read more

Well we have been AAA members for 30 years In the last 2 years we have needed a tow truck twice Once while my daughter was needing a jump dark night parking lot We were 3 states away 4 hours of her waiting A friend came to get her Never to our knowledge did the wrecker ever show up Today while headed to the dodge dealer our vehicle died at an intersection Deputy sheriff was there to direct traffic We called AAA and naturally couldn't speak to anyone as the wait was 3 hours The deputy called a wrecker which cost 220 bucks He dropped off our gladiator We took care of the vehicle repair needed -2 batteries 600 bucks But back to AAA We have been on hold since Calling at 1230 We have been towed Handled the repair issue which will take 1 hour We have finished tacos at fuzzy tacos in Decatur Texas - pretty good Now we are still waiting on a person to discuss the 220 dollar charge that should have been free if the ability to provide prompt service existed We are now on our 2nd iced tea and no one still hasn't answered 1.5 hours later Thanks AAA For the sub par service read more

I have been with AAA for many years and when we moved to Texas a few years back the transition was seamless. I wanted to comment on the continued service we have received from two employees, Kelly Trisko and Kerry Rex. I went in to get highway maps and came out with ID protection, a cooler, and my maps, including a few more that they thought I might need because of the lack of reception I might encounter. So disappointed in this company! Needed some questions answered and couldn't get a person to return my calls. My policy was dropped because by their mistake, they thought they had the wrong drivers license number for my daughter. And just to get them to reinstate it took almost impossible! Left several phone calls with Robert Hall and his supervisor, and couldn't get either one of them to call me back! Never had these issues in California with AAA!! AAA Texas gets 2 thumbs down for these few individuals. On a good note, if you decide to use them for a insurance provider, request Wanda Goode! This company has really taken a nosedive. I've been a member for over 26 years and I'll be canceling this month. My first disappointment happened last month when it took AAA over an hour to have a tow company call and then they said due to policy, only 1 passenger. What good does this do me when I had my fiance and dog with me? I had to pay for another tow company, that by the way, showed up in 15 min and was happy to take my passengers. Today I needed another tow and AAA gave me an arrival time of 2:45, finally 3:45 no call no show. I call AAA wait on the line 40 minutes, they don't answer, but when I call and act like a new customer(more $ for them) , they pick up the phone right away. I asked where is the tow and why am I getting sent another driver that won't allow passengers? They say its due to Covid 19. I ask if they will pay for an Uber or Taxi, since most people have other passengers and they said no. This service has become of no use, they make you wait long hours for roadside help and then they won't even answer the phone. Good luck if you're stuck in a harsh climate, have a pet or other people with you, muchless if your stuck somewhere at night and all alone! Also, because I'm a Premier Member I was due a new battery if mine went out. When it did, I called saying I was broken down and probably needed a new battery. They decided to send a company that coincidentally "didn't supply that service". Guess AAA is valuing profit over people. read more

AAA Texas is the best vehicle insurance company (in my opinion) that I've had in many years. The rates are fair and I hope I never have to file a claim, if the claim process is as smooth as the use of the app, renewing coverage, adding coverage and reviewing existing information and policies it would be spot on. My mom has been a member of AAA for over 50 years, I'm on my 4th and have no complaints so far. Thank you AAA. read more

I have been a AAA member for 33 years and have found this service very valuable to and my family. I continue to be loyal member. However as for the Insurance side of the business, I will never do business with this outfit again! I shopped for Homeowners and Auto insurance coverage back in 2016, AAA had the best price for a bundled service so my wife and I made the change. We were happy for 6+ years. Earlier this year I was looking for a better rate as we had purchased a new car and had a young driver added to the policy so I reached out to our agent, Robert Jackson. He told us we could get a better rate if we split the polices between my vehicles and drivers. The savings was not great but it was substantial enough to make the switch. So in Feb of this year, we split our polices. Several months later not happy with the amount we were saving, I shopped around again and found a better deal with another provider. I called AAA to cancel my policy and thanked them for the service. 1 month later I get a cancelation notice for $298.... I called Robert and he told me that was the standard practice if you cancel a new policy within 1 year, you get charged a cancellation fee. Robert never mentioned that to me in our discussion. I called his Branch Manager, Karey Hackney and pleaded my case that I was never given any verbal notice of this policy. After speaking with Karey she stated that she would speak with her Regional Manager to see if they could waive it. I've left 3 message since, no response. Apparently AAA does not value customers who have been loyal and had insurance services with them of 6+ years, let only AAA member service for 33+ years. Maybe its time to reconsider any business with AAA and their affiliates. The only reason we made the change was due to the Insurance Agents own recommendation... Now the the savings I received from switching insurance providers is cut by $298. I call BS on this! read more

Are usually get Trip Tik in Grpevine tx. They are so helpful and I have service within minutes. Denton requires 2 days notice. The staff were not helpful. I don't recommend the Denton location for anything. It is worth the drive to Grapevine read more

Very disappointed in the customer service and claim departments of AAA. The claim adjustor, and the 2 supervisors above him are completely worthless. Due to their inability to stay on top our claim we have been sent to collections. The car accident was almost 6 months ago and they have not paid any of the claims as of today. They claim they will call you back by the end of the day and have never kept their word. I have to call and send faxes to the claim adjustor as well as facilitate 3 way calls just to get things going. If you can stay away from AAA do yourself a favor and do so. read more
