I schlepped a power wheels car to Queens from Nassau, and then went back to pick it up two weeks later, my 2 year old in tow. We got home and it had *the exact same issue as before.* I was suspicious when I was in the store because the person I spoke to first told me that he'd ordered the motherboard as I was told they would over the phone, and a few seconds later said, "I tried to order the motherboard but they don't make it." He told me it was "the power switch." Anyway, I got home and it had the same issue as ever (which is that when you have your foot on the gas, it will go for 10 seconds and then stop abruptly). I called and was told that I would get a refund "right now," and then 20 mins later I got an email telling me I would not be getting a refund and that I should bring the car back for them to try again. I went to just to have the electric chord replaced on a small device. I had already opened the back of the device and saw that the chord had cracked and just needed to be replaced; two screws. I thought he would say he would just trim the chord and screw it back together for a small charge or free - there was no real work involved. I recently brought an old Kurzweil keyboard in for service as this firm is listed on their website as being an authorized repair center. With my $50 deposit I was told I would hear back in 3 to 5 business days. After nearly 10 days of not hearing from them I followed up. Just so you know following up is an issue in itself because half the time the phone rings through and then you are disconnected. I was told the part was difficult to find due to the age of the keyboard but they would keep trying. I called a week later to follow up and I was told that they were waiting for me to pick up the keyboard, not that it was fixed, but that they thought I didn't want them to continue to locate the part. I have no idea why they assume that but I explained I would try to track the part down on my own and get back to them. I called them back a few days later and told them I had a lead on the part but before I made that purchase I needed someone to get back to me to let me know how much it would cost to repair the unit if I gave them the part. They promised they would get back to me by the end of that day. I'm sure you can guess what happened. I called back the next day and left the same message and was assured somebody would definitely get back to me that day. I'm sure you can guess again what happened or rather what didn't happen. I called back a last time to speak to the office manager and was told they were not available. At that point I realized there was no other alternative so I told them to give the manager the message that I would be returning the next morning to pick up my keyboard and planned to bring it Another Service Center to complete the repairs since if I cannot trust a service company to simply return phone calls i would not trust them to repair an expensive piece of equipment. You would have thought I might have gotten a call back to apologize or better yet to give me that cost estimate, which would have resolved the whole issue but once again they chose not to get back to me. To put an end note to the story, when I returned to pick up the keyboard, they open the door for me and wordlessly watched me pick it up and carry it to my car and drive away. Perhaps my experience was an aberration, but I highly recommend you choose any of a myriad of different repair and service locations in Queens or Long Island instead of AAA, who scores an FFF in my book. read more

Our microwave started creating sparks while using which was scary. We found AAA (they were the recommended service center for the brand Sharp). They came within 2 days, figured out what was wrong, ordered a replacement part and within less than a week came back to replace the faulty part in less than 15 minutes. As a kid, we had a console tv that weighed about the same as a small hippo. It looked like a piece of furniture, with a polished wood cabinet. If it broke down, a guy came to the house to repair it. In these modern times, who hasn't seen a flatscreen on the curb waiting for the trashman? Appliances are made to be disposed. So it's rare to find a repair shop. AAA was recommended by LG, the brand of my tv. They charged a reasonable $80 to assess the issue and said they wouldn't do any work unless I approved the estimate. I replaced the tv because the repair was equivalent to a new one. But they were professional, careful and polite. A good find. read more

Our dryer stopped working out of the blue and we called many places to have a mechanic come over. The fist mechanic was 5 hours late. Took one look at our dryer and said all parts are in back order, there's nothing he can do. Then we called AAA, they were on time, and milin was our mechanic, he was courteous and professional. He spun the drum once with his hands and determined it was a broken belt. He took apart the dryer and used a vacuum to clean out all the lint build up while fixing the machine. He is meticulous in his work and goes above and beyond. I can't recommended milin and AAA enough. We will be using AAA for all of our services going forward read more

My UPS delivery driver could not get me in to sign for a brand new Lenovo Laptop, (I was in Florida) so he brought it to AAA, a UPS access point. When my daughter went to pick it up, the guy said he didn't have it and it was never delivered there. The proof of delivery to AAA said I had signed for it when I was out of the state in Florida at the time and never present at AAA. It looks very much like AAA took my laptop after they received it from UPS. After reading all the negative reviews, I wouldn't doubt it for a minute. I am going to the Police to file a complaint against them, and if I discover they took it, I will pursue criminal charges. read more

After three visits to Electronic Services to repair our Oreck vacuum cleaner, the vacuum still did not work. The manager would not refund our fee although our vacuum was under warranty. All they could suggest was bringing it to them again for repair. No attempt to take responsibility for being unable to repair this vacuum or admitting the vacuum could not be repaired. We have purchased a new vacuum with a better protection plan. read more

I took my home stereo system to AAA Electronics and first off they charge you $75 just to see if they can fix it. I was told early on that they had to find parts for it, however, weeks went by and I was finally told that they could not find the parts. I spoke to Leo who told me that he would keep trying and get back to me in a day. While I can understand not being able to find the parts for my system, if someone tells you that they will return your call, I expect them to return my call. I called numerous times to speak with Leo and all I got was - (1) he's out getting breakfast; and (2) he's on another call and will get back to you. I never heard from Leo. I sent my Epson 3010e projector in for repair as Epson had recommended AAA Electronic Services as an authorized repair center. The projector was in their possession for a couple weeks and returned to me without the power cable or lens cover, or any protective packaging. After an additional two weeks I was able to force them to send me the power cable and lens cover and I was finally able to test the projector. Unfortunately the did not fix the issue, even after charing me $321. I simply can't believe that a company that is supposed to fix electronics can charge and send things back without ensuring that they work. Absolutely fraudulent! I will defiantly be seeking legal action if this issue is not remedied. Spending my time and money doing your job is not okay if you can't complete the job. Stay away until further update Yelpers!!! Made appointment. Technician arrived on time. HE professionally diagnosed what was wrong with my 65" LG TV Told me it would take him about 4 days to get the parts. He called me a couple of days later to say he had them and he came over,. He changed a few circuit boards in the TV. Put it back together, After it was up and working, he took the extra time to go through the menu's to explain all the functions of the TV. He did NOT have to do that and it was much appreciated,. Also, he was a gentleman and very easy to work with, I've been through hell and back whenever repairs are needed nowadays with con artists who overcharge, don't know their job, perform shoddy workmanship and have an attitude,. I brought my Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8350 Projector into AAA Electronic Services for repair in July 2021. This projector was originally purchased in 2014 and Epson would not make any repairs since it was out of warranty. AAA Electronic Services was listed as an authorized repair shop. The temperature light on my projector would flash red upon startup and it wasn't anything I could repair myself. I was super happy when AAA was able to make the repair even though Epson doesn't even make the parts anymore. AAA also guaranteed their work for 90 days. I've been using the projector just about every day without any issues and I couldn't be happier. AAA Electronic Services repaired the projector quickly (1 week) and I felt the cost was fair. If I could give LESS than 1 star, I absolutely would. STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS! I called them about fixing my 62" plasma tv over a month ago. it all seemed like this was gonna be a great experience. The owner Yash came to look at my tv. He decided he needed to take it in. So I had to help him carry my 62" tv down 4 flights of stairs while his coworker sat out in the car (for what reason, im not sure). they took my $100 deposit and my tv and assured me it would be fixed within a week. well that got extended to two weeks. they finally brought it back. the guys who brought it tried to make us carry it up the stairs ourselves. when i said no way, they did it and threw it up on the wall crooked and unlocked in position. aren't these guys supposed to do this for a living? install tvs?!? when the workers brought the tv, they did not leave a receipt. just a blank invoice. no breakdown of prices or explanations of what happened. and when i called to GET such a receipt, it literally took them a full WEEK to get me one. A WEEK!!! a few days after they brought it back i finally was able to sit and watch tv. well... it fried out in about 2 minutes of it being on. so we had to call to have them come back. but turns out Yash went on vacation. so they wanted us to wait a week for them to come get it again. I said absolutely not and made them come the next day. well it sat in the shop for ANOTHER 2 weeks until they finally determined it was another part of the tv and it would just be cheaper to buy a new tv. so when we finally said forget it. just bring us back our wall brackets (which the guys took with them when they took the tv the second time. again... DONT YOU DO THIS FOR A LIVING?!), it took another few days just to get someone to call us back about it. well yash told us today he would be bringing it by to us around 630 tonight. well 7 oclock rolls around and he asks if he can just bring it by tomorrow. keep in mind i rushed home for this man at 630. i said no. so he tells me... and im NOT EVEN KIDDING... "im going to go home and eat dinner first. then ill come to you later tonight" I've never had to deal with such garbage in my life. i don't understand how these guys have ANY reviews that are more than 1 star. they're scam artists. and its now my life mission to get the word out about how horrible these guys really are. read more

This company was such a joy to work with from start to finish. I bought a new washing machine and found that it leaked. I called the manufacturer and they initially referred me to another repair company that took forever to return calls, gave me an appointment a week later with a 3 hour arrival window, and then never showed. So I requested someone else and they sent AAA Electronics Service. AAA Electronics set up the appointment right away, with just an hour window. And when we missed them (likely because of our own miscommunication) they squeezed us in later in that same day. Amazing customer service. When Mllin arrived (with a smile and very snappily dressed i might add) he knew exactly what was wrong and had it fixed in less than a minute. He then gave me some great advice on how to get the most out of my machine. A++++ service. I plan on using these guys for all of my appliance and electronics repair needs. read more

I have had terrible experiences with customer service, but this by far was the WORST. My tv was in this repair shop for TWO MONTHS and any updates I got was after I called to make a fuss about what was going on. It actually started off really well. The tech came and made a diagnostic, offered to take my tv (instead of me having to drop it off) and I received a reasonable quote. I was told that it would be ready by the end of the week (it was dropped off on Monday). Each time I called either their receptionist would ask me for more money or they would say this ONE thing: "The panel we ordered isn't working and we're waiting for a new one." And once again, they wouldn't call me, I would have to call them. I finally just went in to them demanded a refund on what I had already paid them and my tv!! The owner at one point said "Its actually not worth it to fix the tv." I think I actually saw red at that point!!! Why would you know that and keep my tv for TWO months before telling me that??? I'm a believer in supporting Mom and Pop establishments, but its experiences like this that just make me not bother anymore. Find somewhere else and JUST STAY AWAY.... read more

Had AAA come out a second time to fix an LG 75" TV networking issue that continuously disconnects from the internet. The first time they supposedly fixed the problem the problem occured again which is why I had tg hem come out for a second attempt at fixing the problem. Was told to call then if the problem persisted or happened again. Well it did happen again but they never returned any of my calls. Now I noticed that they damaged or must have dropped my tv when repairing it. Would not recommend this company. AAA ELECTRONICS seems to be a small Mom and Pop shop to repair electrical items. I brought a speaker there because my a/v cord had broke off inside the speaker. They did exactly what they promised. Unscrewed the back and removed the broken piece. I thought it was a good job but they are a little pricey. That cost me 50.00 dollars for something that they worked on for less than 10 minutes. I'm nervous to go to them For something that may really need technical no how because of how they proved this job. Shops like this struggle because they are not a big chain but I think if they were reasonable they would gain a stronger following. Food for thought. read more

Honestly, I have never ever ever encountered someone that has been so honest about the work that needed to be done and the best price to fix it...whether it be electronics and especially mechanics! I have an expensive plasma TV and I was mortified when it stopped working. I didn't know what to do. Called several people and just didn't like how they responded to me...it was like calling a taxi service. I thought this was going to have to end up buying a cheaper new one. Called AAA and they were professionals from the start. Lin arrived at the exact time he stated. When he looked at the TV he immediately knew what was wrong and fixed it within 1 1/2 hours. Plus...you know someone is good when they get, no exaggeration, at least 15 business calls within that time period. I will definitely do business with them again and will definitely refer them to every single person I know that needs some sort of electronical work. These guys are terrible. I brought a piece of electronic equipment to them on a Monday and asked if they could repair it and they said "yes" . I asked them when it would by ready for pick up ,and they said Wensday or Thursday. They asked for a $50.00 which they said would be applied to the cost of the repair, I paid them the $50.00, when Thursday came around and I had not heard from them ,I gave them a call but I got a voice mail so I left a message. I called on Friday and reached a live human only to be told that it wasn't ready yet. I called the next Monday and was told the same thing, but someone would call me back in three hours ,I was called back only to be told that it wasn't ready yet, I called Tuesday and was told the technician had not had time to look at it yet ,to which I responded "If it's not finished by tomorrow I want my equipment and my money back'. I received a call back the next day(Wednesday and was told that it was finished but the technician needed more time to run test on it so you can pick it up tomorrow. I called the next day (Thursday and was told that it was ready and the cost was $86.00. When I went to the shop to pick it up I was told that the cost was" $97.00 and that no one from their shop had ever called me" Warning DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS, YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!!!! read more

I bought a LG washer machine a brand new machine machine is shaking and leaking, called up LG got an appointment scheduled to AAA electronics, called AAA day of appointment they told me I need to send them proof of purchase called up LG and said that I don't need to send it avreything is all set up, call them back and they xame up with a new exquse that they didn't get scheduled for an appointment, in the same time the secretory from aaa that left a message on my phone saying that I have an appointment with them today, but they never showed up call them all day, spoke to manger yesh gave me all kind of exqsuses, then by the end of the day they called into LG to reschedule my appointment appointment or a other day had to take the day off from work waiting all day for them to show up and they never did!!! please be smart DONT USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANNA LOSE YOUR DAY FROM WORK this is something that just happened to me my day of work is gone and no one showed up.
