I hate going to the DMV so I go to this AAA office to register my vehicles and for transfers. I had 3 transfers ( 2 cars and a boat) to deal with and the DMV desk handled them in just 15 mintues. That saved me hours at the DMV. Great work! read more

AAA batteries are garbage. We have had to replace the AAA batteries that were only a year old in two different cars. I can't believe their batteries fail so quickly. In our 3rd car the AAA battery only lasted 3 years. Don't use the AAA battery replacement service it is not worth it. read more

This morning, I spoke to Heather at the Folsom Branch re an address matter and noticed the 'sleeping bag' promotion. To my shock and surprise a huge, loud woman came out of her 'travel agent' office and humiliated me for all to hear: "that (small) bag does not come with the sleeping bag", etc. etc. Last year, I relocated to Norcal, concurrently purchasing home insurance through this branch; then transferring my auto insurance and 42-year membership from the Automobile Club of Southern California (ACSC). From the time I joined the ACSC Glendale Branch in 1972, all of their offices demonstrated courtesy, respect and professionalism. Went into to get a quick quote for travel insurance. Was told there was a three hour wait. I felt quite bummed since I already had membership there, now they didn't need to woo me any further. When I came back to get my quote, I was there literally 10 minutes. I became quite confused with all of the information given to me. It seemed unorganized and the agent had to ask someone for help several times. We'll definitely try another location before we purchase the policy we want because we do need to verify information and have someone clear up the numerous uncertainties. read more

Very friendly fast and efficient staff. A full-service AAA conveniently located right off of Highway 50. Multiple dining and shopping options right there. The employee at the DMV counter had me sign a statement of facts due to me not receiving my registration in the mail. I believe that saved me some money, thank you! read more

We have been going to this office for all of our DMV services for the past three or four years. I have to say it is worth paying the AAA fee just for access to their DMV services. I'd much rather pay a little and be in and out quickly (vs a half day at DMV). The people in this office are friendly and I've always had good experiences there. read more

I got received by everyone I saw with friendly smiles and asking if they could help me but without being annoying...just helpful. I re-registered my truck through the only insurance company that I know of that does these services. No lines, no wait...just service...came out with my sticker....from THEIR OFFICE...I don't even have to wait for that to come in the mail. Thanks for being there for me and my family, not just with the roadside service, which I can always count on, no matter what airheaded thing I do to call them out, but for being there for me with the DMV services you gave me today!! My wife and I went to this office at 2:30 of Sept. 4, 2018. We sat in the waiting area and noticed that there were 3 names on the list ahead of us. At 2:50 the first name on the list was noted as being helped. This took about 5 minutes. At about 3:15 we left the office. In that time the list had grown to 8 names. People on the waiting list were sitting on desks since the chairs were all full. I figured that with a 45 minute wait for one client to be served I would be there another 2 hours waiting. When leaving I spoke to the greeter and informed her about the wait time. She stated that she did not understand since there were two ladies manning that area. Frankly, I have to say that I have gotten better service from the DMV that this. I am seriously wondering what my membership is getting me. I so have to say that I have been to several other offices for AAA in the area and never experienced this poor service. read more

Now, i got an email from Christine, AAA Folsom to get going. i read another Yelp review mentioning Christine is great. i figured its the same Christine and emailed her eventually talked to her and I am impressed. She walked me through everything and got me insured. Great job! All my follow up emails have been promptly followed up with and answered. Just moved back to NorCal from New Mexico. Stopped in to restart my AAA road service and re-register my vehicle to CA. Met with Chad and he was awesome. My dad was with me and he upgraded his road service to premium level to include his travel trailer. Chad was awesome as was the young lady in the car registration desk. Came in to register a new vehicle. In and out within 20 minutes tops, including getting complimentary coffee. Great staff, easy parking, and the cleanest restrooms I have ever seen. I would have had to wait two weeks if I had gone to the California DMV office. read more

My family and I have been loyal members of AAA for over 35 years and have very rarely had a need to call them for anything. Today, my husband had a flat tire. After waiting on hold for an eternity, responding to the automated system and finally getting a live person on the phone, I was livid. The live person was rude, asked dozens of pointless detailed questions and then says it will be 195 minutes before they can get a truck to my husband to change his tire. This is not acceptable! This occurred in Sacramento, easily accessible. I cancelled the service call (thanks for nothing!) and asked to speak to a manager. Turns out managers don't take calls from the public. The closest you can get is a floor leader. I spoke with Kylie who just confirmed that they are busy and that is why the long wait. I told her AAA has been in business for many years and should know they are going to be busy during the holidays and should have staff according to the needs of the season. Nobody I encountered at AAA was of any help during our hour of need. By the time the call was finished, my husband had already changed the tire. In my opinion, AAA has a failed business model and should return our money. What a waste! read more

Dolores Hill is true asset to this office. I was unhappy with my previous AAA agent from another branch, and Dolores was willing to help me adjust my policy and answer numerous questions I had. When I asked Dolores who would be receiving credit for my policy, she informed me that my old agent would be until my policy renewed. The fact that Dolores took the time out of her day to help someone's else client, truly shows that she has the member's best interest at heart.
