Wow, so almost 2 months since my accident and my claim has still not been closed. I last spoke to my adjuster on Friday morning and he said they're gonna close it out and he just needed to run the final numbers and he'd call back no later than 3:00pm. Well it is Wednesday evening now and still no contact from him. I called him everyday this week and left voicemail on Monday and this morning but still no call back. I really regret leaving Wawanesa insurance to come here. I'm pretty sure I'll be going back there after this year is up. I've heard nothing but great things about AAA too. It's really a shame. I'll update once, (if ever), my claim gets completed. Really surprised by the immense lack of communication as to what is going on. No updates unless I call, and surprise, he has an update. I just wonder how long the update has been waiting and how much longer would it be if I didn't call. That's just not how this business should work. Keeping customers informed should be a big priority. Even just an email if you don't want to actually talk to anyone. read more

We've had our auto insurance for several years through AAA and have also booked a few trips through AAA. Every trip we have taken has been hassle free, either just the booking process and the actual trip itself. Recently we had the pleasure of meeting Nicole at the Temecula office because our other travel agent moved to another location. Nicole has been excellent. She has been patient, kind and professional. I always go there at Temecula office to car registration renewal and within 15 minutes I'm out. The workers are always nice and helpful.

Unfortunately the mechanic that came out to change my flat tire, stripped ALL my lugnuts & damaged one of my tire posts. After complaining to AAA, their resolution advice was for me to handle it; since it wasn't there problem. By requesting assistance, I only made things more difficult for myself! read more

If I could give AAA of Southern California 0 stars I would. As a consumer, I have never been treated with as much disrespect as I was today by the Insurance Branch Manager Brian ********. From the get go, my Husband and I were treated like scum. He was abrupt, smug and unwilling to hear us out. In a nut shell, due to the incompetence of our Insurance Agent Jennifer ********, our renters policy had been canceled by no fault of our own. I even went into the office when the original issue occurred in October of 2012 to have all of our policies reinstated. Less than a month later the policy (unbeknownst to us) was canceled again as Jennifer failed to do her job and submit a form to underwriting to have the renters policy reinstated. Fast forward to 11/2014 we had a flood with a loss and called to file a claim at which time we were told that we did not have a renter's policy effective October 2012. Furthermore, I have correspondence in July 2013 to Jennifer indicating that we have moved to a new address and that I would like to have my address and RENTERS POLICY updated to the new house. An email was received in August 2013, after I had to contact her again wanting to know if the changes had been made and at no time did she mention that I no longer had a current renters policy. Had I been made aware of the situation in 2013 more than a year before my claim in November of 2014, I certainly would have taken the steps to resolve the matter and have the policy reinstated. No communication was made on their behalf to alert me to the issue. This is only ONE of the issues that I have encountered while with AAA Insurance. My polices have been canceled on a number of occasions without explanation and without any wrong doing from myself or my Husband. We purchased a new vehicle in October 2013 and it took Jennifer until March of 2014 to properly add my new vehicle to my policy. I HAVE DOCUMENTATION, my financing company went so far as to threaten to invalidate my loan if it was not resolved.... Again I had to contact her to ensure this was taken care of. I have stacks of email correspondence with time and date stamp to support this evidence. I was with Geico for 6 years and I never ONCE had to email them for anything, my policies were always correct and in force. Please before you give them any of your hard earned money, think again, is the savings really worth the hassle? Shame on you AAA, shame on you Brian and Jennifer. By the way our conversation was recorded and I have the Branch Manager blatantly tell my Husband that he will do NOTHING for us. I am sure your prospective customers would be delighted to hear how you will go to bat for them when you have a heavily documented case PROVING errors, lack of follow through, poor customer service, and incompetence and excuse after excuse. I had to move to Arizona and he previously assisted me and was an excellent Consultant and very patient, but my son needed to purchase insurance and he went above and beyond in explaining to me as well as explaining and teaching my son who was a full time student how the insurance process works. I've been a member for MANY years. Went in to check a VIN number, no transaction or exchange of money. Thirty minutes later, was finally seen by a "manager" and two minutes later I was gone. They need an express lane for quick questions or transactions. Big business has struck again! read more

Gabriel from AAA roadside assistance was an amazing help with my car. He was professional, extremely quick, very helpful, and very nice. I always recommend AAA, but Gabriel just took that recommendation to an even higher level. He answered all my questions and gave the best Customer Service. I have been a member for 17 years and have never been treated so badly. Went in to get a passport pic taken and they told me I had to take off my cross necklace. The AAA agent Karen was very rood. If people are allowed to wear their burkas and turbans then I have every First Amendment right to wear my cross! read more

Was a member years ago, but never used it, other than to get a hotel discount once. I rarely travel so that was a rare instance. Since our local temecula dmv is closed I decided to sign up for the service again, yup just to avoid the hemet dmv. Although, one of my cars has been over heating, so why not. Anyway went to transfer the title of my new (used) vehicle, and once I was about to check in I noticed only cash or check is accepted. No problem, there is a bank next store. I asked the check in lady if I should go grab money first, but she said it shouldn't be an issue. I figured she meant they would wait the 1-2 mins it would take me to run to the ATM once they gave me the total due. Well nope, I ran to the ATM and rushed back only to have the girl helping say that she would add my name back to the list. By that point I had already waited 25 mins beforehand and was stuck waiting another 25 mins. Thinking the check in lady didn't want to re-enter all my info (I had no card, just a long confirmation number) again so she just told me it would be okay. That kind of frustrated me, but I guess I did avoid the dmv, glad they don't provide this service for non members, or wait times would probably be a nightmare. I still believe the service is worth it, I saved 10% on parts, which was about $16 so I made 1/3 of my money back after 2 days with aaa. read more

Nick, who works in DMV section was great and deserves 5 stars. He was very proactive in serving his customer; he provided the things before I get to ask him, i.e. he volunteer to put license plate for me because he noticed that I am a disabled. He is a rare individual who know how to provide a quality customer service. I indicated 4 stars, because the receptionist who served me needed a further training. If she does not know whether what fees may be charged, she should not say that I need to be ready to pay with cash or check. As a customer I knew that there will not be a fee for the service I came for. read more

I've been an AAA member for 39 years and have obviously enjoyed the many benefits such as roadside assistance, travel maps and city/state/country guide books, AAA discounts and even the travel service, which recently has not lived up to what it used to be, in my opinion. However, the reason for this review has to do with an AAA flyer I just received in the mail urging me to upgrade to the AAA Premier membership level for the last three months remaining in my subscription at a cost of only $9.00. Yes. "It's now only $9.00," writes R. Wendy Sabins, Senior Vice President. Of course, at the bottom of the two-page flyer there are many "fine print" exclusions. To make sure everything was on the up and up, I decided to visit my local AAA office in Temecula, as the flyer suggests. However, to my surprise, they had never heard of, nor would honor the $9.00 offer despite my showing the colorful flyer to them. I was told by the AAA agent that "they send out these flyers in bulk and don't know ..." what they're doing, or something to that effect. Of course, they offered to charge me more for the upgrade, but at that point, I decided not to proceed. So, beware of the old "bait and switch." It was a very nicely printed flyer with an "Activation Certificate" printed on semi-hard stock paper. The only problem is that it didn't work. read more

the worse AAA place I have ever seen, long lines, employees walking around doing nothing. Poor girl for DMV was the only one working, the other ladies would not help her and when asked where is the manager not in today, BS. One lady at the front counter the greeter I guess just got up when so many people where there and hid in the back room for 20 minutes to emerge with a glass of water, leaving her computer on and the system open, yes open. Lazy team and lack of customer service. if there was one closer to me I would never go there again! read more

I am writing this review particularly about an agent from AAA Ynez rd, Temecula. Her name is Rupali Hawranik. I came in December 4, 2017 to get a separate auto policy from my ex-husband. She was accommodating at first. She asked for $250 to start my policy. I thought everything was alright until 2 days after, i got a call from her saying she couldn't process my policy because my ex cancelled my membership. She said that she needs an additional $45 for membership so she can process the policy. So technically, since she couldn't process my policy, I was driving my car without insurance. The same day she called me (dec 6), I went ahead and signed up with Allstate and I was insured the same day without paying for any membership. So I called her (the same day, December 6) and told her just to cancel my policy and that I signed up with different company. She said she will take care of it and that I will get a refund in 7-10 days. Yesterday (December 18), I received a letter from AAA saying that my policy will be cancelled January 2018. I called Rupali right away, and told her about it. She said she was with another customer so she'll call me back. I waited the whole day. I sent her emails and called her and NO RESPONSE at all not even a decency to call back. So today, December 19, I went to their office and spoke with a manager. The manager sent an email to the underwriter and I still don't know what's gonna happen. The manager told me to call her for updates so we'll see.... read more

I have read great reviews about this facility but one thing to keep in mind if you ever have a complaint about this facility the regional manager uses mafia tactics and will threaten to cancel your membership. Something is wrong if a manager threatens people they have never met in person but this is the way the regional manager handles complaints. The sad thing is people in this economy don't have time to complain about things but it has to be pretty bad service if they file a complaint. I hope AAA knows that this is what happens when a person complains about this branch. I don't go to this branch any more and it does not hurt the business but it was pretty empty the last time I was in there and it was pretty empty compared to other branches in the area. But it is important for AAA to know that mafia style tactics are used if a member complains and they are threatened with canceling their membership. One thing is really odd is if there is a complaint they can act on it or don't act on it. Members don't have power to make changes so why threaten us unless they want perfect numbers. read more
