I have been a AAA member for 40 years. I have a homeowners insurance policy as well as membership for towing services also have auto insurance Within these years, I have purchased two batteries and I've had problems with every single one , now I'm on battery number THREE I felt the need to post this because I do not feel like I'm being treated as a valid preferred customer I feel that I am being gouged financially and disrespected by team services and supervisors. In 2021 I purchased a battery from AAA. It came with a six year warranty. It lasted two years. Until I had to replace it due to the battery having leakage so in 2023 the battery was replaced now 2 years and one month later I am having to replace it again with the same problem!!! LEAKAGE This is what they don't tell you if you replace your battery with your six year warranty the replacement will be free because you're under warranty, but if the battery has to be replaced again within your six year warranty, you will be charged prorated for the third battery and lose your warranty and not eligible for a new warranty but yet they keep selling you defaulted batteries that don't last past 2 to 3 years I could have went anywhere to buy a battery, but I bought it here because of the six year warranty and because I'm a member wanting to support a company that I believe in There's something extremely wrong here. It's almost as if it's a switch and bait situation. My warranty would have been up in 2027 which made me eligible for another free battery because of all the defaulted ones they kept giving me but instead, they charged me and informed me that I had no warranty on this third battery so I am now punished because of their defaulted batteries in 2021. AAA had to change companies that they were buying bulk batteries from because they were having continuous complaints on these batteries that were leaking knowing that they selling these to their AAA customers, as I was speaking with a supervisor Liz ID # 505521 always make sure you get their ID number I was trying to explain all my concerns ... what I got was superiority rudeness consistently being interrupted and not heard . and was told that I need to go online to place a complaint , why would I do that if I have the supervisor on the phone she made no sense whatsoever only because I know she had no answer for my concerns of being gouged, misled and unhappy as a AAA member. after 20 minutes of her repeating herself in different ways but ending up meaning the same thing that I would have to buy another battery I got nowhere when asked to speak to her supervisor I was told there was nobody over her that she was the one. Therefore I hung up the phone called back and guess what!! low and behold !! she does have a boss Eric, his ID # 508883 hoping to get answers and some resolve seemed to be an impossible task. Eric was just as rude as Liz but seem to be annoyed about my complaint and had Little to no patience. He was so irritable seem to enjoy talking over you like Liz did maybe that's one of their training tactics to shut us up so that they can get their points across but yet we don't get ours when that did didn't work. He starts to yell that that's where I had to end the call. I guess I am seeing AAA at its finest it is evident they just hire anybody because they all seem to be trained in the same way... sell sell sell no resolve no respect and no gratitude toward there customers If it wasn't for us members, they would have no job at all, but I still feel this Company needs to be thoroughly looked at the Better Business Bureau will be the next step of my complaint as well as Google We all work hard for our money and we should not be paying for something we're not receiving I would also like to point out if you have auto insurance with AAA make sure you look at your declaration page they're always adding something on your policy that you did not ask for I had noticed that they have been charging me for a Service that I did not ask for. read more

Easy great service took me in late, but got everything done. I would recommend it to anybody. I miss the Stockton AAA.

Just bad customer service. They don't answer the phone, you will wait forever on the phone and then they will transfer you wrong and it will all start over again. AAA isn't what it use to be. Better insurance everywhere else and cheaper to tow without them. read more

Horrible wait time to do a single uncomplicated DMV transaction, pay my auto registration. At least the DMV has a kiosk you can use. Last time I went to the Jackson office, in and out in 5 minutes. Note to AAA Lodi, when you have a dozen people waiting you might want to open up your second window. read more

I visited this location because the office in Stockton is closed permanently. It only took me 18 minutes taking the back road to get here. Once, I pulled up I found a handicap space instantly. When I arrived inside the check-in was very quick and smooth. My wait time was no longer than 10 minutes. I was in and out in 15 minutes with my new vehicle tags and registration. read more

This was my first time at the AAA office in Lodi. It was in a very nice location. When you first walk in you are greeted by someone at a stand up desk. The gentleman was very friendly and helpful. I visited the Lodi branch midday on a Friday. I found parking directly on n the front with ease. I was greeted at the entrance and signed in. I was told there were 2 people ahead of me and took a seat. The office is clean, professional and met all of my needs today. My wait was less than 5 minutes with 2 people in front of me. I renewed my car registration in about 5 minutes and was done. There is no DMV in Stockton or Lodi with service this quick or professional. If I only needed the DMV services I would keep AAA. I will always be a loyal customer. read more

I have been a AAA member over 30 years. I go to this Lodi once every few years to try to take care of DMV business. I received a damaged license plate in the mail one time and they replaced it. I also went in one time to renew a trailer registration that I did not receive the renewal in the mail. AAA Lodi took care of that too. The biggest problem is depending on what day you go in and whom is working that day, they will tell you they can't do that. So we go to DMV and stand in line for an hour to get a number then sit for another hour to get the number called. Get to the DMV counter and am told there is no reason AAA could not have done this. It took a total of three minutes to take care of the registration. It takes 3 - 8 weeks to get an appointment at DMV, wish AAA would train their people. read more

After being with the same company for 25 years, Lauren made us feel at ease making the jump. Just talking to Lauren, we knew that if there was a problem we would be taken care of just like family. Signed up for a years service thinking I'd be able to avoid the DMV. I called them, they said they could help with a title issue, I go in with all my documents, they said "we can't do copies of documents", that's funny...because after I went to AAA, I went to the DMV with the same documents and had no issue other than waiting long to hear my 5 year old son graduate grade school, middle school and high school...I almost missed my sons college graduation. AAA is overrated, I regret signing up. read more

I have been a AAA customer for several years now and usually I would not write a review on them but this time I left the office feeling very unsatisfied with the service I received. I had paid my DMV tags online through the DMV website I never received my tags in the mail or maybe they got lost I'm not sure but I called DMV they told me that I could either go to DMV and they would get me new tags or I could go to AAA and get a new tag and I asked her if there would be a fee she said there would be no fee since I never received the tags.. so when I go to AAA to do this the manager specifically tells me that it's going to cost me $30 to have duplicate tags made which I don't need duplicate tags because I never received the original ones and she also told me well I may have to wait if it's been less than 30 days (which it was over 60 )She then told me that she was at DMV today and not much of a line if I rather go there ?! Very dissatisfied with how rude and blunt she was. Why am I still a member - at this point no idea! I'm canceling and never going back to that location! read more

If I could I would not give any stars!! My elderly 80 year old father had to change his own tire even after paying for upgraded service to cover such!! Shame on you!! After 20 years of coverage a call to a call center in Idaho and then being told they had to have "premium" coverage which they asked when they paid for the upgraded coverage if it would cover flat tires. My mother even offered to pay for the premium coverage but they said it would take 48 hours to be covered. This luckily happened in a campground and they were able to get help but this has happened before on the freeway!! Horrible!! read more

Terrible service, was hit by one of their insured and what a hassle to get dealt with. $500 worth of damage and car for reported to car fax somehow. $1500 off value of cat for diminished value. My loss, they told me to sue the person who hit me. They sent me next door to ups to get forms notarized. I would have thought someone in the office would have been able to notarized one of their docs. If you do them for towing, there are many options available. read more
