Used this company for a new A/C 2.5 ton/16 seer install in 7/2021. Worked primarily with Eric but all employees I dealt with were good. Install was all day event, two installers were junior but they did send a more experienced installer in morning and at end of job to ensure checklist was complete. The install eliminated the need for a pump which was a definite upgrade and one less point of failure. AAA came out to do a check after about 30 days, so far no issues. Beyond minor adjustment to Freon levels. Cost of unit and install was in line with other estimates. I found this company is friendlier and more responsive than other larger local AC company who did previous install. Will update as needed, but recommend AAA Modern Air. read more

BUYER BEWARE. USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY. This company installed a new AC at my home in November of 22. There were many issues with the cooling system and had the coils replaced three times. When the time came late spring when the temperatures were skyrocketing the unit would not cool below 77 degrees. They told me when it's 95 outside that the unit would not cool to below 77. I had them out so many times I can't count them sending different guys out each time. Well as time went by month after month of trying to get the NEW UNIT ($8000.00) working it began to cool and of course the unit would then cool. Now that we are peaking 90 i'm right back to the same problem. It ran for two hours continually only maintaining 77. They apparently used a too small unit for my home. Now i'm stuck with a hot house six months out of the year. They would never admit that the tried to cut corners and bring in what actually was necessary. Honestly, use a different company. Let me be honest here. I read all the good review from Google and Yelp before I decided to call Triple A Modern Air. We were in a pinch because our AC was completely broken. I was able to have Haans arrive the same day to do an onsite visit. I told him I wanted a unit that helps with the humidity. I also told him I wanted to upgrade the tonnage to increase the air flow. Had I know I would have humidity issues, I would have kept it at 2.0 tons. The installation team was friendly, and it was installed, I believe, the next day after our deposit. I told Haans I didn't want an economy unit nor the premier unit. I just wanted the middle tier aka premium unit. One that helps bring down the humidity. Now I have a half ton too large of a unit. (Some of their techs said its the right size other say from them and other providers that its half a ton too big) and the AC cools down very quick but doesn't run long enough to take the humidity out. They came out several times to fix it and it got to the point where I was working with their manager. One of the visits they checked the humidity level and they said it was in the manufacter humidity operating range. However, from the jump, I told them I wanted a unit that is good at lower the humidity more than an economy unit. I think his name was Erick (or Chris?) as there was a lot of back and forth between employees. It was easier to speak with the manager directly. Their own website said Customer Satisfaction guarenteed. Now, i am stuck with a $5,200 Bryant Legacy system that keeps us in the humidty but no resolution was from them but to swap it out for $4k more! Do yourself a favor and get your house a load calculation before you install your unit or you will be in my situation. Not a happy camper at all. I spent months waiting before I posted this review to give them a chance to resolve the issue to both our satisfaction. This customer was not satisfied and I feel we got the run around and the shaft. We not even give us several options to chose from and the features. Just one option was given. Had I been given choices, we would have probably gone with a two-stage system, even if it was a little bit more. Comfort was more important than the cost. read more

I was willing to pay their prices, since they charge a lot more than their competition because of their great Yelp reviews. I thought their service would be good. With a ton of competition, service is what sets you apart. I had to replace my entire AC unit, and Justin Castiglione sold me my AC unit. He seemed to be very thorough and professional. I had a broken acrylic panel that needed replacing, and new filters as well. He said that though replacing acrylic panels is not what they normally do, he would be more than happy to help order an acrylic panel and help me install it at cost. He also told me the techs he would send would explain everything to me. They would help explain to me how to change my filter, and how to care for my new AC, etc. Basic stuff. The day came to replace my AC unit.The techs that came to install my AC, were not very communicative. I thought maybe they would review the basics with me before they left, but nope. They put my dirty filters back in the wrong way, put back my dusty grill that held my filter, and left their black scuff marks on my wall where they replaced the thermostat. They were actually willing to just put dirty filters I had in and be done with it when I had clean filters. They did replace them when I asked (but I had to ask), and they put them in the wrong way. I know this because the second technician they sent out confirmed it was put in wrong. My AC is hard to reach, especially as a short person. The very least they could have done was warn me. I would have been more than happy to clean it myself before they put it back in the ceiling where I can barely reach it. My point is, they will tell you what you want to hear to make the sale. After I got my AC installed, I asked Justin to help me with ordering the acrylic panel like he said he would, but of course he stopped returning my calls. And why should he? He made his commission. I had to end up finding the acrylic panel and grill they said they would help me locate, by myself. As a layperson, it was no easy task since you can't just go to Home Depot, but I did it, I am glad I did, because it is nto cheap. They probably would have double or triple-charged me, as I see they have done with others, in other reviews here on Yelp. This company has good reviews, so I think it was just my luck. So my advice to you is maybe ask for anyone else but Justin to write your service contract. read more

AAA Botched the job, lied to me, caused significant damage to my home failed to take responsibility. I have dealt with AAAMA for over 30 years. I n this time they have replaced my 2 zone conditioners 3 times. My downstairs A/C stopped blowing cool. AAA diagnosed the problem as a faulty valve. The unit was still under warrantee so no charge for parts. To replace the part AAA claimed air handler had to be moved as coil could not be removed due to proximity to support stud. (note: it was AAA that had installed the handler and drip pan). Cost of moving air handler $2000. Valve was replaced and system recharged with coolant and blew cold air for 3 hours then cooling stopped. During this time I ran the upstairs unit nonstop all day 24/7 to keep temp in house below 90. When I turned on the downstairs unit within a few hours my living room ceiling was dripping water. AAA claimed that the leak was from the upstairs unit and they had nothing to do with the leak. Inspection revealed that the leak was from the joint between the air handler and the drain that they worked on. Meantime the unit was blowing hot air and AAA said it was blowing cold when they left so not their responsibility. I hired another company just to get expert opinion, cost $650. Expert found that the old coil that was covered with rust had not been replaced. ( I have pix of everything.) Now concerning the leaking water AAA maintained the water was from inadequate insulation on the lines and charged $550 to inspect and rewrap the insulation. I went up in the attic with repair men. The lines were well wrapped but the tech started to add an extra layer. At this point I insisted that all the insulation be removed so that we could inspect the PVC as I knew full well where the leak was. Well guess what, the break in the line was visible as at the joint one could see glistening water and alga was already growing on the PVC. The AAA tech said he would just add a layer of glue over the joint and that would stop the leak, "trust me" he said "I have been doing this for 9 years and it always works." Not in my attic, I told him, I had acetone in the garage to clean the pipe. When I got back to the attic the tech had separated the joint and was going to clean the old PVG that had a chip missing and alga growing on the inside. "WHAT? You are going to put that damaged crap back together? " Don't you have new PVC on your truck. I demand a first class job, not a rigged asinine fix." Finally when a new coil replaced the old rusted coil the air is fixed. Meantime the repair on my ceiling is almost $11,000. read more

This company has been my worst nightmare. My husband and I used them to install a brand new AC unit two years ago and they have been here eight times "fixing" the AC unit. Due to installing the drip pan/float switch incorrectly it caused a massive leak to the unit below us. The started blew up. The lines have been clogged on multiple occasions. Its been hell with this company. When calling and expressing this massive headache I spoke to a supervisor named Eric and he was not helpful and a bit arrogant. I'd give 10 stars if available. Daniel, service tech, came to my home when my condenser stopped working. He came out on a Saturday exactly the time set for the service call. He was able to get my system up and running with a wing and a prayer until I met with Hans. He is another excellent member of the AAA team. He explained the pros and cons of each system and guided me in choosing the correct HVAC system. The system was installed a couple of days after signing the contract. The installers were wonderful, working efficiently and had the system working within several hours. Included with the contract was a free duct inspection. Angelo, another stellar member of the team arrived on time, recommended a new plenum and a separate duct to my bedroom which has always been the hottest room in the house. Tim and Austin, again stellar members, arrived when scheduled and installed the new plenum and new duct with vent. When completed my bedroom and garage were spotless. Nicole was very sweet to get my appointment in for my 6-month AC maintenance. I took time off work and waited home from 1 through 6 pm but AAA decided not show up. Not even a call. I called the next morning and spoke to Erik. He helped me to schedule another tech to come out the following day. From 1 to 7. I waited home (again) till around 5:30 and decided to call AAA Modern Air to make sure the guy was still coming and they won't ignore me hit 2 days in a row! Apparently, the business has this rude angry lady who answers the phone put me on a VERY long hold. Over 10 minutes. And she did all of that without even notifying me. When she decided to come back on the phone, I raised my concern and asked her no longer to put me on hold without notifying me first. I reminded her that I'm frustrated this may happen again where the guy doesn't come. She was SO RUDE, yelling at me and being defensive about me correcting her for putting me on 10-minute unexpected hold. WOW!! She clearly did not want to be on the phone. I told her that the technician did not show up yesterday as scheduled, and today he hasn't arrived yet, and it's almost 6 o'clock. And I'm worried. But she didn't care, and hung up the phone!! How unprofessional! Why would AAA Modern Air our her on the phone to handle calls? 10-minute hold time? Without notice? They came out Monday, my coils need cleaning. My AC is over my hot water heater... was told they cant service my unit until that Friday between 1-5. I tell them it is dripping onto my water heater. They tell me to get buckets. Friday comes.. i call around noon to see whats doing, I am told after 1pm. Called at 445. Was told another hour due to delay. It is now 825. No service no call and still a hazard because, yes I have buckets but it is dripping onto a water heater. No way to do business. Will be contacting a competitor to get my work done... read more

Called around 9am to have someone come out and look at an issue we had with our ac unit and was told someone would be out 1-6pm. At around 4:30pm, no one had shown, so I called back to verify someone was still coming. I was assured that yes, if they had scheduled an appointment, someone would be there, even if it meant coming after hours. I was told the tech assigned to us was finishing up a job nearby and may be there after 6, but they would be there. At 7:30pm, I got a call from, the technician informing me they would not be coming by, and I would be moved to the next morning. I don't mind this, and it's not the techs fault (we apparently were added to his schedule when he was already booked), but it bothered me that the office guaranteed someone would be by. I would rather they be honest and admit they cannot come out that day rather than make promises they cannot keep and have me wait around for 7 hours. This all would be excusable, but the visit from their tech the next morning was appalling. They came in and gave a diagnosis without even looking at the unit or testing any aspect of the ac. They opened the front panel looked at the coils (which are fine), asked if we were the original owner of the unit, and immediately quoted us for a $1,000 repair and charged us the $65 service fee. I was not about to spend $1000 on a repair that was suggested without anyone even looking at the unit beyond what I could do on my own, so we called another company for a second opinion. After they spent about 20 mins trouble shooting, they determined there were no major issues with the unit and it was a simple fix (basically disconnecting and reconnecting 2 wires). They charged us NOTHING and told us to call if it acts up again and they would troubleshoot over the phone with us. Our ac is working great, and did not require us to spend $1000 as AAA indicated. I would never call them again, unless they made major changes to their staff. Professionalism, honesty, and knowledge are critical, and they showed none of these. read more

I was lucky to be seen as first appointment of the day for Andrew Suarez. This gentleman was very professional, knowledgeable and above all, very respectful.
