I text them and they responded almost immediately . They even offered to come the same night. We ended up setting up an appt for the next day. They arrived early and communicated the whole way. After completing the repair we had a small discrepancy with a charge but they settled it quickly and professionally. Often home repair companies aren't reliable . This was not the case with AC Army. The company came back out because the vent was leaking again and the rooms were still too warm and they said that they all needed to be redone and wanted to charge another $14000 to redo all the ducts after paying them $4000 the first time. Since there wasn't a guarantee there's nothing we can do. We had originally received other quotes including from a company we used before to replace all Ducts for $13,000 and we'd end up paying $18,000 for this company. Not a company I'd ever recommend since they won't fix this duct problem at least for what would have been paid originally. Way to treat fellow service men. read more

Great service, Air Condition Army is the best company to install Air Conditioning units in homes. They gave us excellent service when they installed the Air Conditioning unit in our home. In addition to that, a month later we called them because by mistake when changing the filter we broke a tube and a lot of water started to come out and Gerald came the same day and installed a new tube and in addition to that he cleaned all the puddle that formed and left everything very clean and he did not charge us anything. I have a window A/C unit manufactured in 02/06 that went bad. Coincidentally, made the same year as the water heater that went bad last month. Apparently, no A/C companies want to service these. Nearly every company replied via YELP that they didn't work on them. Chris [the owner] from Air Condition Army was one of the two with a positive response. He was forthcoming about the labor charge, plus parts making the repair not worth it. One would be better off buying a unit, and either installing it themselves, or having a handyman install it. I appreciated his honesty. Other A/C companies wanted to charge to diagnose the issue, and if it could be fixed, that charge got waived. Air Condition Army does a FREE assessment, and only charges for the job. Although we did not choose any company that day, if we did, it would had been Air Condition Army. These guys are amazing! I was staying at my mom's in Hialeah when she was out of town. Her air went out and I wanted to get it fixed before she came back. I called Air Condition Army and they sent Patrick out that day. He looked over everything and showed me how filthy the outside coils were. Another air guy told my mom they were fine. I saw them and they were clearly not fine and they haven't been fine for a while. (see pictures). To save me money, Patrick said we could try just cleaning the outside coils and leaving the inside for another time. Well, that didn't work and he came back the next day and cleaned the inside coils. They were just as bad. I thought it still wasn't working and both Chris and Patrick came back again. They told me everything looked good and cold air was coming out of the vent. The problem now was that my mom's house is old and has a flat roof and takes a while to cool. They said to leave it on for 24 hours (I was shutting it off when I thought it wasn't working) and see how it goes. By the next morning, it was cool. These guys are honest and actually care about their customers. They are not out to scam you like so many other companies.
