We called Sammy to replace the remote and receiver in our ceiling fan. He was easy to reach and to schedule an appointment. He arrived on time and ready to get to work. And his work was impeccable! He laid down coverings to protect our furniture, cleaned up when he was finished, and the job took about an hour. His work is top-notch and his prices are very fair. He has worked on several projects and repairs in our home over the years and we didn't hesitate to call him this time to fix our ceiling fan. We honestly can't recommend him enough. Superior work at a fair price. Thanks again, Sammy! read more

AAA Pacific Electric - Electricians Near Me - Mission Viejo, California

We did a complete kitchen renovation and Sammy was referred to us. Thank goodness. We didn't realize at the time how important it is to get great tradesmen. We realized that they're not 'all the same'. Not only do great tradesmen do the job right (which should NEVER be assumed), show up when promised, and communicate clearly, but they're also experts. And if you ask and listen to someone like Sammy, he'll provide advice based on his experience. Be honest with yourself: you're probably not an electrician. He is. He's seen hundreds of jobs like ours. This is why you want someone like Sammy. Whereas we just thought of plugs and lights, he made us realize there's more to it. And if he's going to install hardware, he installs nice hardware. Not big box/Amazon garbage. Looking back, he was a critical part of our kitchen renovation and we are grateful to have been referred to him. PS: only at the end of our project did I realize that another family member (who was midstream in their kitchen remodel that included a high end designer) was also using Sammy. It just validated everything we experienced. We got lucky. (Thank you Sammy. The least we could do is share our experience.) read more

Highly recommend! Sammy was a true professional! I only needed two new electrical outlets installed in our home & he came over quickly after connecting via text to offer a quote. Was able to schedule the job just a few days later & he did excellent work! Left the area clean & threw in a USB outlet for free! Will definitely use Sammy again if/when we have more electrical work to be done. read more

AAA Pacific Electric - Hallway lights. Excellent work with professionalism and attention to detail. - Electricians Near Me - Mission Viejo, California

Gotta say, I chose to go with Sammy at AAA Pacific Electric and these 5 star ratings aren't a lie. He's incredibly professional, kind, and informative. I just had a TV that I needed mounted over the fireplace, and some HDMI/Ethernet cables ran to different parts of my living room. Sammy was quick, detail-oriented, and incredibly proficient. He showed up on time with his assistant and they had the TV mounted within 2 hours. If you're in the south county area, make sure you hit up Sammy. He's the best. read more

Let me start by saying that you get what you pay for. Sammy is courteous, professional, on-time, reasonably priced and excellent at doing electrical work. I met Sammy for an estimate to install a new chandelier to a dimmer. The work required that he run new electrical wiring through my attic, cut a hole in the ceiling (20 feet high) for the new box and install a 4 gang box for the new dimmer. While Sammy was here, I asked him to fix some bad electrical work in my attic. He cleaned up what another electrician failed to do when installing a ceiling fan years ago. He also remounted and re-wired another chandelier in my dining room. I can't say enough about Sammy and trust him. He is my first recommendation for electrical work. The majority of his work is South Orange County. So lucky to have him so close. I highly recommend Sammy. read more

Prompt on calls. I tried texting and he responded. Very clean. Price was fair and upfront. Explained the situation about what he needed to do and why. I'm a customer who needs to know the why. Called and used him again a few times in 2018. Absolutely great and honest. Tells you what you don't need too. read more

If I could give this business 10 stars, I would. I called today after 5:20 P.M. which I believe was after business hours. By 6:00, Sammy called me. I asked him to call my tenant and arrange a time with my tenant to fix the breaker because all bathroom lights were out. The earliest I was expecting him to show up was tomorrow. Apparently, he arranged with my tenant to come right away. He was in and out in 20 minutes according to my tenant. He quoted me a service fee and gave me a more than reasonable estimate for the breaker. Not only did he fix the breaker, he fixed an outside light that was not turning on for free. He definitely has my future business. Thank-you, Sammy! read more

Picked AAA based on the reviews here, couldn't be happier with the work they're doing. We added recessed lighting to our living room, ceiling fans to our bedrooms and an extra outlet in our upstairs hallway. Sammy quoted us with a fair price and we set up the appointment for that week. The job will take a day and a half, but after one day of work 3 of our 4 bedrooms are wired for fans, the outlet is in and our recessed lighting looks and works fantastically. Sammy and his assistant took care not to make unnecessary holes in our walls when running wires, really treated our home like it was his own. Sammy had some great ideas for lighting; though I think of myself as a pretty capable do-it-yourselfer Sammy had ideas above and beyond what I could have done, worth every penny! I'm so pleased with their work I've recommended AAA Pacific Electric Inc to my family. read more

Sammy, I don't appreciate your lies. First of all, an hour after you left my house saying everything is fixed, the breaker tripped. I called you right away and asked you to come back and fix it. You DID NOT offer to return. Instead, you said you'd come by Tuesday, which meant I'd have to live with the tripping breaker for 3 days. Secondly, you DID NOT spend $75 for the materials. You charged 2 hours of labor ($75 x 2 = $150) plus a breaker that you bought from Home Depot ($55). I still have your receipt, so don't try to lie. Not to mention that you spent 2 hours total in my house, and half the time you spent it for so-called "Free Estimate", and another half an hour to get your material from Home Depot. Yet you charged us the full 2 hours of labor plus material cost. Watch out people, his Free Estimate is not really Free after all. Because you did not fix the problem that I asked you for, and because you refused to come back and fix it. I got another electrician and he fixed it right away; the back of the main breaker was burned and almost melted to a dangerous point. You didn't even think of opening my breaker when I constantly said "The main breaker is tripping all the time". Are you even certified? By the way, the other guy also honored his "Free Estimate" deal. So I only asked for the refund for the portion that you said you completed which was totally worthless and specifically asked for the receipt from Home Depot, so I can return the useless breaker, which supposedly was "$55". You refused to pay back at first and later when I pointed out all these things, you simply said "fine" and sent us the original check and NO Receipt! So I paid you a full one hour of labor ($75) for fixing our master bedroom outlets, although it only took you about 25 minutes. I thought I was being nice paying you for an hour! Oh and I could not give you $55 for the material because YOU DID NOT SEND US THE RECEIPT. Out of curiosity, I even went to Home Depot to find the breaker, which was certainly not $55. So I wonder why you didn't send us the receipt. I don't understand how the less than $45 material becomes $55, and now $75? Does the breaker have progressive value with time? And how about graciously accepting customers' opinion and trying to improve your service quality rather than challenging with lies and self-justification? read more

Sammy is GREAT and a fantastic electrician! If I need anything worked on, I will always call Sammy. Very professional and always does the best work. Sammy lives up to his great reviews and then some! My wife and I were moving into a house that had not been occupied for a few years and although a flip had been preformed on the house, electrical work was needed and we wanted to swap out ceiling fans as well as vent fans in the bathroom. From the moment we chose to go with Sammy the communication was top notch, he not only took care of the jobs we discussed but also gave DIY pointers for some other things around the house. Sammy and his assistant were professional, clean, and preformed the job with precision and care. From this point forward my family and I will be turning to Sammy for our electrical needs. read more

Ignore the single bad review. Sammy was awesome! I'm usually wary when it comes to hiring a general contractor or repairman. I've been burned in the past. They always seem to overcharge or upsell services you don't want or need. When our upstairs outlets stopped working, I went to the circuit breaker to reset it. But once I applied pressure to the switch and saw sparks... I immediately knew I was in over my head. The next morning, I gave Sammy a call and he said he could come by within a few hours. Not only did he arrive early, he listened to my problem, diagnosed the same issue, and was done with the work in under 30 minutes. No upsell of wanting to replace the whole panel, no ridiculous markup of the single breaker I needed. I gladly parted with my $75 today. I would definitely recommend him to any one in need of his services. read more

It can be frustrating trying to find an honest and reliable electrician. I needed to install a couple GFCI Outlets in the bathroom. I did a quick search on the internet and used the homewyse site to calculate what the average cost would be. I then made an appointment with Sammy for him to come and give an estimate. He showed up on time and quoted a fair price which I accepted. We made an appointment which I asked to reschedule. He was very accommodating and showed up at the right time and performed the job very quickly and cleanly. If you need some electrical work done at your home, I would absolutely recommend Sammy! read more

I was really hoping to use Sammy for some work - unfortunately when I contacted him he indicated he is completely booked for the next four weeks and couldn't provide an estimate or do any work. He was polite about it which I appreciate but that doesn't solve my immediate need. If you have any work that needs to be done urgently (as of June 2014) you'll probably need to consider someone else as I now need to do. read more

I hired Sammy again today for some home improvement electric work in my parents' house and it was the right decision. I called Sammy up to make an appointment and to my surprise, he remembers me from 4 months ago. He was quick to come to our house to help us. This time around, my parents are paying for the bill, so being Asian parents (tighter with money) they are a little concerned about the price they have to pay for this project. Sammy immediately understood it and he said he will give them the best price possible. In the end, his price is very reasonable and affordable. =) I even forgot to mention to Sammy that I want my garage door switch to be switched to the other side of the wall and he was very nice to go the extra mile to help me fix that. He didn't even charge me and that saved my face in front of my parents because I was the one who forgot to mention it to him before he begin his work. All in all, it was another pleasant experience working with Sammy. My dad said he would rate him 5-star on Yelp, but my dad is not computer savvy so I know Yelp will filter out his review eventually so I've decided to give it an update to my previous review. Thanks Sammy. read more

Hi Yelpers! If you are looking for an awesome electrician, look no further! Sammy is great! He arrived on time and cleaned up afterwards - just perfect. I highly do recommend him!!! I am sure we will use his help again! Thanks Sammy! read more

So thankful for Yelp as it led me to Sammy! I have never had much luck with electricians in the past, but that has now changed with Sammy. Very professional, personable and reasonable. There were a few things that were considered must-haves to complete and others that were nice-to-haves. Sammy provided feedback on the best approach and even talked me out of doing some unnecessary work! Might be a weird thing to bring up, but we've had electricians cause screw hole pops or cracks in our ceiling because of their weight when walking on the beams. Truly, it doesn't take much ... a person 150lbs+ can cause this. With Sammy, he comes in a lightweight package with surprising strength! Some areas of our attic are tight, but he had no problems and did not cause any cracks/screw hole pops in our ceiling. All around a real pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend AAA Pacific Electric/Sammy to anyone. read more

Well, I am here to say that the other Yelp reviews are 100% right-on! After doing some research, and reading all the previous Yelp reviews, I decided to call Sammy at AAA Pacific Electric. I left a voice mail message on Sammy's cell on Sunday evening (6/2) and he responded on Monday morning (6/3). We discussed the problem with my garden lights, and he agreed to stop by and see what he can do. On Wednesday evening (6/5) Sammy stopped by my home after a long day. He trouble shoot and fixed the electrical problem within 30 minutes. Sammy's rate was very fair, as compared to what other electricians in the Laguna Niguel area would have charged me. I will definitely call Sammy for any and all electrical needs in the future. I now join the long list of happy AAA Pacific Electric customer. Javier read more

AAA Electric is the BEST electrician I have ever used. He is polite, prompt and courteous. Seriously you will be so pleased after using him. He gets the job done. I had him come over to connect my old fire alarm, he said I am not putting that old one back on and gave a brand New One...Wow other people would have just connected it. What an honest man! Seriously you will not be disappointed! And he doesn't gouge you! Great work Sammy! Ok for some reason my first yelp review did not go through, but Sammy came out again today, installed a car charger and some light switches in the house OMG....Just Love these guys so Good at what they do. and remember if he doesn't answer his phone right away text him, its because he is working on your home :) read more

I can't say enough great things about Sammy and AAA Pacific Electric! I originally was referred to Sammy by a co-coworker of mine that is very picky about her contractor and service providers, and had nothing but overwhelming positive things to say about him and his work. So when we bought a new house a few months ago which needed several electric items addressed, Sammy was the first person I called. We ended up having Sammy and his assistant install 4 brand new ceiling fans and light fixtures (the ceilings had no previous lights in them, 3 are on vaulted ceilings, and they had to start from zero), replace a really old thermostat to control our heating/cooling and replace 3 chandeliers (2 of which were on very high vaulted ceilings as well). From the moment we met Sammy, we knew we made the right choice. He is super professional, very nice, and knows his craft inside and out. He is very meticulous and takes the time to answer all your questions and explain how certain things work. One thing that also impressed me about Sammy is that he is super big on safety. He prides himself in making sure everything is safely installed, and will double- and triple-check it. He even noticed that our wired Smoke Alarm was pretty old and needed to be replaced and after I ran by to Home Depot to grab a new one, he installed it for free between working on the fans! Since the original install, I've called him on weekends regarding a couple of (what turned out to be) false alarms with some other electrical issues, and Sammy actually walked me through some of the things we could try (and ended up working) over the phone without coming out and charging us an expensive trip for a simple item! His pricing was very fair, his work is top notch, and Sammy is one of the most friendly, professional and personable service providers we've ever had the pleasure of working with. Whenever we or anyone I know needs anything in the electrical realm, I would not hesitate an instant to recommend Sammy and AAA Pacific Electric. A+ all around! read more

Sammy has helped us two different times in the past year that we've bought our house. The first time was for installing a chandelier on a vaulted ceiling, wall-mount TV and adding a few outlets. We were so happy with their work that when we decided to install an EV charger in the garage, it was a no brainer to contact Sammy an as we expected, the result was perfect. My wife and I love how professional, friendly and polite Sammy is. One of our biggest fears when purchasing a house was having to take care of all the maintenance ourselves. For any electric job, we no longer have such fear. read more

Sammy already has numerous 5 star reviews but I felt inclined to write this as I felt it was unfair for his overall rating to be brought down by those who pass judgment because he had to turn down work. As I see it, Yelp reviews should be based on the work as it happens, but that's just my two cents. He's a one man show, who brings on his assistant as needed and I believe he prefers it that way for now. He will take work when he can but he is very loyal to his customer base. AAA Pacific has done work for us on two separate occasions and we will continue to call Sammy for any future work. He is polite, prompt, clean, efficient...everything the other reviewers have stated. Give this guy a call and if he can do the work--awesome, you won't regret it--and if not, it's all good and move on. read more

I can't believe I forgot to post! We bought a new (old) home last March. It needed new lighting and electrical work. Who do we call?! SAMMY of course! We purchased a fixer-upper. Sammy replaced all the outlets to kid safe outlets, added several outlets, relocated light switch locations, replaced doorbell, added recessed lights, chandeliers, etc.... He also repaired the electrical box. We do need it replaced and will call him when we're ready to. We had him install and mount two tvs. The cables run in the wall. NO BOXES in the living room are visible!! We just love him! His work is beautiful. He is professional. Reliable. No BS. Reasonably priced. He does his own work. Our neighbors across the street also purchased and moved in same month we did. They used him too!!! You will NOT be disappointed. read more

I don't even know why I call other electrician. By now I should know better. I should learn to trust my instinct and trust yelp's recommendation. I have called Sammy multiple times to give me bids on projects but decided to go with a bigger company which I end up not being satisfied. This time I called Sammy and he remembered me and my house. Very knowledgeable and expert electrian. Excellent service, best around I only use and refer Sammy.

We bought our condo in 2018 knowing it required a lot of updating. The contractor replacing our kitchen referred us to Sammy at AAA Pacific Electric. Sammy removed a "track" light from the kitchen ceiling and installed recessed LED lights, as well as LED under cabinet rope lighting which is such a nice touch! While working on the kitchen lights, he discovered that someone had, in the past, cut open the air duct in the ceiling. He fixed it! At no charge! That was the point that my husband and I knew for sure that we had found our electrician. He also removed a ceiling fan from the center of the dining room and installed 6 LED recessed lights. We added cabinets and countertops in the dining room, so Sammy moved the 2 electrical outlets from the bottom of the wall up above the counters. One of them has 2 USB ports to connect our phones. Sammy also replaced old recessed lighting in my entry area with new LED recessed lights. It was amazing to see how much brighter the smaller LED lights were than the original bulbs! After that, he installed new lights in the garage. When he had left, I noticed that a hole in the garage ceiling had been repaired. He and Alex moved the cable outlet and added a new electrical outlet higher on the wall in the living room, then installed a TV mounting bracket and hung our 70" tv on the wall. More recently, we had him back out to replace the 30 year old bathroom vent fan. He installed a Panasonic whisper quiet fan with a light. It is so nice to have the extra light as well as a fan that actually works AND is quiet. Today, he removed an outdated wall mounted bathroom light and replaced it with 2 LED recessed lights in the ceiling. Then Alex repaired the hole left from the old light.. including texturing the wall. He did a beautiful job. Sammy and Alex are amazing people. They are honest, no nonsense and professional perfectionists. I don't think I have ever found any trace that they were in my house except for the improvements. They cover everything and clean up before leaving. Give them a call, you will not be disappointed! read more

Sammy is the best person I've ever hired to work on my house... and I've hired a lot. Pros: 1. Does amazing work 2. Great Prices 3. A very nice guy I really don't understand how someone could write a bad review for him. I received quotes from multiple highly rated electricians on yelp. All were friendly and seemed nice. However, Sammy's prices were the best. He did a day and a half's worth of work around my house and he could not have done a better job for me. Thank you Sammy! read more
