Of course my house electric issues surfaced when my mom was in town. Of course it was on a Saturday/weekend. You can't make this stuff up. I jumped on Yelp to solicit some local bids for solving my issue. I knew it was the breaker because I was flipping the switch when it burned out. I don't know anything about electricity but that was a frightening experience. Mike got in touch with me via Yelp in like literally 10 minutes. He asked me a bunch of questions to determine the general scope of what was going on, and then told me he could get to my place within about an hour. Mike showed up, super quickly identified the issue after some short investigation. He showed me exactly what was going wrong, and even explained how lucky I was that the damage was not more extensive which demonstrated his integrity at not just multiplying repairs at my ignorant expense. That really grounded my trust in him. He didn't have the exact breaker to replace my damaged one, but had a temporary breaker which would do the job in the meantime to get us up and running safely. The next day he came back and completed the job. His rate wasn't the very cheapest, but it was very close and still well below most of the other bids.
