See, in my case it wasn't just about getting the car fixed, it was also about rescuing my vacation and the crew at TDR understood that. The car was dropped off just before closing time on Monday. A quick check revealed a punctured gas tank. They gave me a ride to a rental car company and I figured that we would have a few days to explore Rapid City. I was wrong. The next day they were able to locate the parts needed and the car was ready to pick up that afternoon. Between Teegan and the rest of the people in the office and at least two different mechanics, this was a team effort and they did a fantastic job saving our vacation. Dropped the truck off the night before, and they said the work I needed done could be done in 1 day. I informed them that I could only afford to have this truck down for one day. After having the truck sit at the shop for hours, they called me with a bunch of items they claim needed work, which did not, and then didn't even have the parts ready to go for the work I originally requested. After 5 hours of the truck sitting there, they did zero work and blamed it on "waiting for Peterbilt to get back with them on part prices." That's funny, each time I call Peterbilt for parts they immediately tell me the price and availability over the phone. These guys have no sense of urgency and will try to "up-sell" you rather than just do the work you requested. Then they had the gall to charge me $160 for an hour of work! They are nice people, but I don't need nice, I need results and good work. I won't be going back here.

Update, I've called 3 times on the status of my refund. I was told the first time, "no problem"…read moreand was informed that I would receive a text message with confirmation that my refund was being processed. The second time I called, I was told that that they wanted to process my refund through a money gram (or order, I can't remember) and that they would need my address. I told them that I wasn't comfortable giving out my address and was hoping that there was another way to process the refund electronically (since I transacted the service through square). The person I spoke with said (begrudgingly), "okay, let me talk to my supervisor and I will give you a call back within 24 hours". I was curious about Square's refund process, so I called them and confirmed that the business can absolutely process electronic refunds via the square app as long as it's done within the first 120 days - the business would even get a refund on their transaction fee if they did it this way (a true win-win). 48 hours later, I had not received a call... so once again, I called. I spoke to the same woman (I believe) that I spoke to the first time. She seemed shocked that I hadn't received the refund yet and told me that she would reach out to her supervisor to get in contact with me and hopefully solve the issue today. I thanked her for her help and communicated my frustration about being tossed around and not getting any formal assistance with my request. She then went on to say that she is just the receptionist and has no control over my request being fulfilled. She assured me once again that she would give my name and phone number to her supervisor so that he/she could call me back.
