I had already gotten an estimate from the largest, best known body shop in the area and wanted to get a second estimate. My estimate at Frankfurth was far more reasonable than my first one was, but what made me choose them was that it's a mom and pop local business run by a honest, hardworking family man named Chris, a father who lives locally. It isn't always about saving every last dollar. There are things that are nearly as important to me. All things being equal, I'd always rather give my money to a locally owned/operated business than some big, faceless, corporate body shop. I could not have been more pleased with the whole process. I appreciated Frankfurth's fair prices, but I was thrilled with the quality of their work. My truck came out looking perfect. They did exactly what they promised they would do and finished on time. Their repair was flawless and they even returned my vehicle washed and showroom clean. You just can't beat that. I highly recommend Frankfurth & Son's Auto Body for all your body shop needs. He got a quick overview of my accident and where I was in the insurance process, before assessing the damage. He thoroughly explained what repair would entail, the timeline to repair, and ran some quotes. My previous collision evaluator provided a similar repair quote, but Mike made everything much easier to grasp and comprehensively overviewed what each step would entail. Mike told me he operates the way he'd like to be treated, and that very much came through. He was extremely professional, approachable, and real, and talked to me like a human not a checkbook. He took the time to explain allll the nitty gritty and gave me all the data I needed to make an informed decision. I ultimately chose to let my car go (still sobbing!) but I felt empowered and comfortable to make that decision based on Mike's thorough assessment. When I got there, Ellie looked at the car and gave me an estimate right away. Pricing I though their pricing is more than reasonable and transparent. As it turned out, nothing was broken (as Ellie had suspected). They had to remove the bumper and re-attach it to make it straight. They did it for a flat fee of $125 plus tax. That was the estimate, and that's exactly what I paid. Scheduling They had an opening the following week. So, I dropped off my car in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. I didn't think it would be even fixable but these guys made the car look like it just came off the assembly line. They had to replace a lot but they also did their best to keep the costs down because of the age of the car. They said they'd do their best but I got the feeling the car would never be the same, especially at the price quoted. I hope they don't have a camera outside because when I came to pick up the car, I stood there stunned, mouth agape. It was perfect. You can trust your vehicles to this business. I am so glad someone recommended them, I couldn't be happier. Oh and they cleaned the car so beautifully , I don't want to let the dogs in it anymore, it's just too nice. The before picture doesn't show the damage very well. There was a big hole in the drivers side door and the two doors, the mirror and the bumper needed to be replaced.
