Horrible service. The Representatives are rude. Membership is expensive. Takes forever to get help. Police had to call another tow truck company because AAA was taking so long to respond to a call. Terrible customer service. They will ignore you for 15 minutes before acknowledging that you are there. Oh and by the way, don't call them because they don't answer the phone. They open at 9:00 am supposedly and I called at 9:05 and held on for 20 minutes but no one ever answered my call. read more

My fiancé and I purchased a vacation through AAA over the phone, however we needed to go to a location to speak to an agent. This location is in a shopping plaza, so there is plenty of parking available! We walked in and it was a bit busy, being Christmas vacation and all, but the line moved fairly quickly. The woman who greeted us was kind and very helpful. We asked our question, and while she had to look into it and we had to wait a few minutes, we didn't mind. She was able to answer our questions and take care of what we came in for the without problem. While we weren't here long and for not much but to ask some questions, the kind service would definitely have me back at this office again! read more

The staff at AAA in Somerset are racist and do not like to accommodate black people. I asked for help, but staff can't remember her name but starts with the letter J. Staff refused to help and stated that she wanted to save me money by telling me that I don't need the service. However, I wanted the service and did not get the help I needed. I have to write this as I just had the most amazing response and follow through from my insurance agent Kimberly Martin from AAA in Somerset. She assisted me about 2 months ago in reducing my car insurance by nearly $500 a year. However, when I switched over to the new policy with her there was an error and my old policy continued to bill me. Finding the error this morning, I immediately reached out to her via email. She responded within one minute, assured me she would handle it and spent time working from home to resolve this issue. Her professionalism, positive attitude and dedication to customer satisfaction goes beyond expectation. Hello, I would like to recognize Maria Carvalho of the Somerset MA branch as an awesome Insurance Agent. She is efficient, nice and all around helpful of all my insurance needs. If my question is not her expertise she brings me to the source of help! Please know in the past I always have been nervous when I went to the Registry, because something always went wrong, however when Maria completes my paperwork I know I never have to worry again! I love AAA Somerset. Love, love, love it. Where else can I go to book a cruise, get discounted movie tickets, and renew my driver's license in the same place? This AAA location has a prime spot in a shopping plaza with a Planet Fitness and a Stop and Shop so you can easily pop in here while running errands. I went in last Friday and waited only five minutes to speak to a travel agent who assisted me and my elderly grandmother in booking airfare for a relative coming from Colorado. The agent was polite, informative, and not at all phased by my grandmother's rather intense scheduling questions. Will definitely be going back soon to book a vacation for next year. read more

3 hour wait while the "manager" huffs about trying to LOOK busy, just to do a registration. I know Real ID is new, but there should be 2 lines, one for that and one for the 2 second transactions. Also, there used to be someone there who would call you over and check over paperwork before you got to the registry counter, but she seems to have disappeared. I am almost sorry we booked a cruise through AAA. OK... i get that I work but because of this the only day i have to get there is a Saturday. Each time i have been they are "short employees" on the vacation side. I hope the rest of our experience is not like this.. so far it has been. everything is booked i just need to add our excursions and leave CC and PP info and then pick up the docs.. (huff) you might think they would have a full crew on Saturdays knowing people work. I get that that things happen with staff but if they know a day or so before they should be able to get someone to fill in.. not leave the staff short handed.. read more

I went to AAA to renew my license as I was do to get my picture taken. This was the best experience. Staff was courteous and polite. It took only about 20 minutes. Since I work long hours I was able to go on Saturday morning so I did not need to take time offf work. You must be a member for this service.
