AAA Tree Service is one of the most unprofessional companies I've ever interacted with. They made incomplete notes concerning our job and upon arriving to remove a stump, claimed that a fence wasn't there when they did the quote. The fence was there, the man who did the estimate was completely distracted by a phone call. I should have asked for an itemized quote because only a small portion of the bill was revised for this stump which wasn't removed though it was the most significant part of the job. They didn't come when they said they would, didn't complete the job when they were suppose to and when I protested, was told that they didn't need "customers like me." So if you are a customer who asks questions, seeks fairness, and a desire to work with a professional company, then you are not the customers they seek. read more

It was easy to schedule and I was surprised the work happened so quickly. We had a 7-8 ton tree stump gone and ground leveled in 1 hour. Extremely pleased with the service. Tony and his crew showed up promptly at agreed upon time to trim a huge tree in my backyard. They worked expeditiously and completed the job within 3 hours. We had a 70 year old pecan tree with horizontal cracks in it that was in imminent danger of falling. AAA came out in a timely manner to assess the damage and gave us a quote that was lower than others. They did a fantastic job with the take down and the clean up. So awesome! I had this stupid tree that I hated. It dropped these little fuzzy things EVERYWHERE. They were all over the walkways, on the roof, on our cars, in the pool, and even stuck to our dog. I cannot express how much I hated that tree. Oh and it was HUGE. When we had all that rain, I thought it was going to fall onto our house and kill us all. One day, when I came home and my car was covered in those fuzzy things and my recently groomed dog was covered in them, I'd had enough! I called AAA along with several other companies. They actually had a cancellation the day they came out to give an estimate and they were only a $100 difference from another company that gave me an estimate. Paying $100 more was worth it since they could cut down the tree the same day. They did an awesome job. I mean this tree was really, really tall. I had panic attacks just seeing them up there cutting branches but they communicated really well with one another. They were careful and they did an excellent job with the clean up. One day, I noticed that some branches, on the side of the pine tree nearest my house, were suddenly drooping far down. Since the tree is located on a hillside, I was concerned that the tree might be in danger of falling due to recent rains. Bernie came out the same day I called him. He inspected the ground around the tree and reassured me that the tree was not moving. He recommended pruning the tree to remove excess weight and to make the tree stable. His crew came out a few days later to do the job. The pruned tree looks great now, and I am no longer worried about the tree falling on my house. AAA Tree Service was recommended to me by the City of Union City Public Works Dept upon granting my permit to remove large redwood trees that were causing foundation issues to my home. I'm so glad I asked for one last quote as I already had a few companies give estimates. Bottom line, these guys are the best with regards to skill, professionalism and customer service. Buyer Beware! The "estimator" comes out and verbally quotes one price and says the "secretary" will contact you to send the written proposal. The written proposal is higher, $50 in my case. When you call the "secretary" says so sorry, the "estimator" made an error, the real price is the written one. She will tell you she spoke to the owner, who will talk to the estimator. The owner will not lower the price as it was an "honest mistake." When the crew arrives, the "estimator" says he can't do the job per the written agreement and will only do half. Full price is expected and if you have a complaint, call the office. When you call to speak to the owner, you find out the "estimator" and "secretary" are the owners. Too bad, so sad for you. If you ask for a refund, they give a low-ball number and get angry if you contest. Sad part to this story is BBB supports the owner and says the low-ball number was a "good faith" effort to resolve the problem. The written proposal was to remove a tree and grind the stump. They only cut down the tree and got full pay. Half the cost of the job was to grind the stump and they only offered 20%. read more

Yes, as good as it gets. AAA Tree Service Inc did an excellent work cutting several large overgrown cypress trees in the side and back of my house. Those trees were a nuisance for the neighbours since they invaded their property and messed up their gutters, and a delight for a number of racoons who use them to nest and had direct access to our roof. AAA Tree Service Inc were promt, professional and very efficient. Ii took them to do their work barely a couple of hours. Their price was more reasonable than any of the number of other professionals in this field i consulted to do the job. I was impressesed with the ability AAA Tree Service Inc use large machinery they posses to reduce those large trees into a large pile of wood dust inside their truck. i also was impressed by the efficiency AAA Tree Service Inc brought down the trees. AAA Tree Service Inc cleaned up after the work was finished and left a happy costumer, me, a pleased neighbour and a relieve wife of mine, always concerned for the heath implication of the numerous feces left by a prolific number of raccoons of the course of the years on the roof of our house. By the way, those feces could be letal so we needed to have them professionally removed from the roof of our house every year.
