Horrible customer service, was rushed throughout the entire phone call. Had my car towed from a lot with many other cars parked next to me and the lady on the phone simply said, "We cant get them all but believe me we try". I sent money to this company accidentally, asked for it back they blocked me. My daughter has Down Syndrome. I live on SSI. Sent $100. Then had to pay another $100 and pay to fix car. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. Absolute trash towing service. They were supposed to tow my car but never called me back to cancel. The lady on the phone gave the excuse that my car was too low for their tow truck. I waited 90 mins to call them back for her to tell me that! Thank god I wasn't broken down on a highway, I would've froze to death. This business needs to do some serious customer service training. Arranged for a tow that was assigned to them through roadside assistance. Put in the request at 1:06PM. Now 3:35PM, I ultimately canceled the tow request with their company because, well, 2.5 hours of waiting for a tow in Rhode Island is rediculous. I even called them only to talk to a rather terse woman on the phone who assured me they would be there at 3:15.... only to never show up. If you ever have to call a company to tow you, do not call Express Towing. read more

ETA was 55 minutes according to the roadside assistance. After 90, I called the tow company directly and was promptly put and left on hold for another 10 minutes before I hung up to call the roadside assistance back. Got a call from the tow company a few minutes later saying they were another 15 minutes out. Waited another 30 and my battery died on my phone, so I walked home to call the roadside assistance to get a tow from a different company. Really irritating to be treated like that, and I def won't use them again, and I recommend you don't either, unless you're trying to kill a few hours of your time. Update: An hour after getting home, and after reassigning this order to another tow company, Express showed up with my car. Apparently they ignored the cancellation and took my car anyway. The other tow company, Valley Towing, gave me an ETA of 22 mins and contacted me within a half hour. I feel bad that Express stole this call from them. Fuck Express. read more

Worst service ever. Don't use them. They said wait time of 60 minutes, took them over 2 and half hours to get there. Every time you call, the lady will keep telling you lies that the guy is almost there which is not true. Horrible experience. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced, made the service request at 12:50, was told they will be there at 2:10, never showed up, when I call to find out the new time, I was told by some lady with a condensenting voice, "the driver is on the way", never showed up. After waiting over two hours, my request was canceled without notice, I had to call roadside assistant to find out, NEVER will I ever use or recommend Express Towing again and I wont recommend my fellow servicemembers use this company either. Took an extra 45 min to even get to our car. Never called me when the car was dropped off at the repair shop. They lied and said that the key was "put in the drop box in an envelope" That never happened, They left my key in my car with the doors unlocked. Never called to tell me this information. Do not use this company. My insurance (Amica) sent them to tow my car to the mechanic last night. After a three hour wait, the Express Towing dispatcher told me the car was "on the truck," but as of this morning, it still wasn't at the mechanic. Turns out it was never on the truck. The driver apparently couldn't find it (even though there were no other cars in this parking lot!) but didn't even bother to call to tell me. Why would a company like Amica use an outfit like this? I'm cancelling my roadside assistance and signing up for AAA asap. read more

Completely unprofessional. My roadside assistance contracted Express to tow my car to the dealership. I was instructed to leave my car unlocked and hide the key. I received a text that Express had arrived on location and assumed my car had made it safely to the dealership. The next day, no one at the dealership could find me car! Turns out, Express showed up to the parking lot, 'couldn't find my car' even though it's not that hard and has a plate, said they called (no missed calls), and decided to drive away. My car was left overnight and unlocked, with no attempt made to contact me. Not to mention it was NOT hard to find the car. When asked why they didn't leave a message to let me know they weren't towing, they said they're 'not required to'. Doesn't sound like they care too much about their customers. To top it all off, when I expressed my dissatisfaction they told me to call someone else hung up on me. read more
