I had Roy Gaskins come out to the house to fix some leaky toilets. He was supposed to call me when he got there and I was expecting to atleast obtain an estimate of the work to be performed since that's what I thought the norm was. As a new homeowner, I'm still navigating getting things fixed at the house. Anyway, he was at my house for about an hour and he charged me $150 for labor! When I asked him why this was so high, he said "Well, this is just what I charge". I was absolutely blindsighted. And I would have understood if the work took an hour but he spent 15 minutes out of the hour writing up my invoice in his truck. I don't buy the "reasonably priced" moniker. I'm going to make sure I send an email to my HOA and resident list to never hire this company. I'm very unhappy to get charged such an exorbitant price for labor. 4 stars for the work he performed, 2 stars for customer service. I called and got an estimate on getting my bathtub drain unclogged ($179). After checking with other services in the area, I went with him since he had the best price. He said to text him to confirm my appointment for the next day. Next day comes around and he is a no show. With any other business, I would have probably written him off but since I really needed the plumbing fixed and didn't want to pay another guy $50 more for the same work, I texted him the next day and asked him if he could still come that night. He came that night and was in and out in around 20 minutes. I paid by credit card using an app on his phone. He gets the job done well and at a good price, but his scheduling could use some work. read more

This service is unbelievably good. Twice we have used it and twice the gentleman came quickly, fixed our problems, and charged us modestly. Last night we discovered a drain back-up in the basement, a day before leaving the house on vacation. In desperation we called Aabco and at 9 pm on a Saturday, the owner answered the phone and said he would be at our house by 9 am today (Sunday). He was, and he fixed the problem quickly. Are you kidding me $475 to snake a toilet and another $175 to put a camera in it. An hour and a halfs work $650. I think that is robbery and to add insult to injury the camera that i was charged $175 for was so out of focus i could not see a thing, which totally defeated the purpose and my bathroom was left a royal mess read more

I want to preface my review by saying that we did not have service performed by AABCO, but we had an estimate on having our main water line replaced. The gentleman that came to give us the estimate was 2 hours late, and the quote that he gave us was almost $5000 more than the other 2 quotes that we received. Very pleased with the service I received on 2/1. I had to have my main sewer line cleaned/snaked. I was quoted a fair price that was inline with pricing I received from other plumbers for the same service in the past. They were able to come the same day and arrived at the time they said they would. They had high quality professional equipment and were using a more "heavy duty" snake that provided a more thorough cleaning then the other plumbers I got a quote from the day before who were also triple the price. Once onsite they were fast and efficient and cleaned up after themselves. They also gave me some recommendations on preventative treatments I can do myself so I don't need this service as often. I couldn't really ask for or expect much more than the service they provided. They had a fair price, came the same day, were on time, and got the job done quickly. read more

I had a plumbing issue and on a Saturday to boot, my home warranty company called numerous plumbers (as did I) to no avail??!? I called AABCO plumbing, a plumber answered the phone promptly (to my surprise as I was beginning to believe that they didn't work on weekends). I made a same day appointment and the Plumber was on-time and knowledgeable. He even took time to answer questions concerning my water heater (which I was not aware was programmable) explaining the energy cost savings I could incur monthly if I programmed it to operate during specific times of the day. Horrible! Made a online request for a call back and received an immediately phone call to set up a time of 9 am on a Monday. No call, no show. I called at 10:30 to see what time they think they would be there, I was told thirty minutes but had to reschedule to to previous engagements. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled with them for Wednesday. Well the window was from 1-3 and here it is 3:45 no call no show. So thanks for wasting my time. Initially, had great service. I have a first floor condo and the guest drain was backed up. On 12/29/2015, he came out same day and was able to clear the blockage and charged me $180. Had the same issue on 4/12/2016 and he came out again, same day and was able to clear the blockage, charged me $220. Less than a month later, I'm having the same issue. Called him on 4/29/2016 and he agreed to come late the following day. Never heard from him. Called the following day, 5/1/2016 and he said he'd come out by 1pm - 2pm, never showed, never called. read more

Wont be using Aabco plumbing. My water heater is leaking and all he did was over the phone and tried to sell me a new water heater. I was experiencing drainage issues late on a Saturday night and decided to give AABCO a call. I was unable to get through on the first attempt at calling. Since it was late Saturday night I resigned myself to trying again Sunday morning. However, shortly after I hung up I received a call back from Roy. I briefly explained the issue and he gave me a 1 hour window when he would show up early Sunday morning. Already I was pleasantly suprised. Sunday morning rolls around and Roy should up right when he said he would. He diagnosed the issue and remained on site until he was certain the problem was fixed. He was professional, friendly, and above all very competent. Pricing was very reasonable. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the service and highly recommend AABCO for your plumbing needs.
